Review Milton Woodfire Pizza Cafe - Milton

I have been slowly chipping away at the decent sized menu. Coming up to a dozen visits I have started with the spicier side of the menu, and even created my own pizzas and the staff were happy to oblige. Covid has only allowed me to take away, however this store has such a homely vibe I cannot wait to enjoy a dine in with the family. The staff are always friendly, and helpful when selecting sides. The garlic bread is my favorite side, but what really earns this review is the wood fired base. Toppings are not stacked an inch high so the base has been cooked through. Crispy and crunchy on the bottom and a firm top of the base, blended with the hints of smoke really make this place a must visit for pizza. When I think of best pizza, I think about the base, freshness of toppings and size. Yes size does matter. I have grown rather tired of the pizza stores throwing out 13 inch pizzas and calling them a large. Milton Woodfire keep to the traditional 15 inch large so a family can share or in my case I can feel content. Conveniently located on the Main Street with parking out front. A well deserved 5 stars.

This was perhaps the worst Pizza I have had. The beautiful mozzarella chesse was so burnt that it became crunchy and tasteless. The base - which I suspect may just be pita bread - had not risen at all, giving it the texture (and taste) of microwaved cardboard. In what universe should a WOOD-FIRED PIZZA have enough structural integrity that it can stand up on its own!?!? (see pictures) I will not be visiting this restaurant again and will advise my friends to steer clear! What a waste of such a beautiful Pizza oven - Embarrassing!

Highly recommended takeaway pizza cafe in Milton, great thin crust pizzas, excellent selection of fillings, fast service, online orders handled efficiently, and friendly professional staff. Enjoyed the experience. Pizzas as good as you'll get anywhere!

Nice place and tasty pizzas. We ordered the family pizza. Good service.

Rang to order eight pizzas at 50 minutes to closing time. Apparently we were a massive inconvenience. After rude and obnoxious service over the phone, we reluctantly forked over $200 to receive burnt pizzas. ONE STAR.

Tasty pepperoni pizza, very nice staff, highly recommendable

At last someone who knows how to properly cook a pizza rather than serving up a soggy mush. Don’t drive past. Best pizza I’ve had in years. Thanks

A very surprising find in tiny Milton. Walked in to a very swamped joint with at least 20 people waiting for their food, and the guy at the counter says they were busier the previous day! Can see why. Absolutely fantastic pizzas. The Putanesca and the Cajun Chicken were outstanding, very flavoursome and well balanced. Waited for a fair bit, but the staff were super friendly and the whole place smells just magnificent. Do yourself a favour a grab a few pizzas from Milton Woodfire Pizza.
