we celebrated our engagement party here over weekend and wow, we couldn't have had a better night! every staff member was very attentive and personally ensured my fiancΓ© and i were enjoying ourselves. all our guests raved about the food (we got canapΓ©s) and you can truly see/taste all the hard work the chefs put in! BIG thank you to lauren, cherag and all the staff for making our night unforgettable! i highly recommend this place as the perfect setting for any special occasion, especially if you're a local. it's so beautiful! you don't have to have an event all the way in the city when there's this little gem in the west!
What a great restaurant. We had pizza, very delicious. Great place to relax for a long lunch. Staff very friendly. Spoke to the owner Syd learnt how he bought the old distillery back to life. Definitely recommend this restaurant. We will be back.
Admittedly we had a late lunch and it was quiet, but we were greeted and seated very quickly. The food was amazing we had pizzas all served very quickly, and it was hot, the pizza was light and flavoursome. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff were very attentive and friendly. The dessert was just beautiful, I had the pannacotta and I just did not want it to end. This is a jewel hidden away in surburbia and I am so glad that we found it. Please all give it a go, as I will most definitely be back. Just a small suggestion maybe extend the menu as it is small, but I guess after they have been established they will do this. Thank you guys for a wonderful mealππ

This place is a hidden treasure. Excellent service, friendly staff, great food. Highly recommend it.
The service was fantastic, very personal. Main meal beef cheek looked small on the plate but it was a very generous serve. The BBQ Chicken pizza was full of flavour with a nice crispy thin crust. Dessert was mango gelato, this was almost mango puree. Highly recommend this little suburban gem.
We held my partners mothers birthday last Sunday and everyone was impressed with the food and service. I had the Trout which was devine. I must make special mention of Michael who was our waiter. The service he provided was seamless. He serviced all 21 of us 3 courses plus drinks single handily without a hitch allowing us to simple enjoy the day. Thank you.

Absolutely outstanding quality food and ingredients with superb service. The pizza bases are light and fluffy and the Maltese beer is also a must-have. The vegetable side with butter, almonds and mustard seeds was a great complement to the mains. Will definitely be back!
Amazing food! I highly recommend the 60/60 Chicken. It's the juiciest, most succulent chicken breast I've ever had. Fantastic service and it's great knowing there's a restaurant of this calibre in Western Sydney. We will definitely be back.
Unlike your ordinary restaurant, this venue is established on the very grounds of the former Minchinbury Winery heritage estate dating back to 1860.
The place is kinda hidden and with the quite surrounding you will feel like youβre out of town for a while. You can see winery style decor throughout and the vibe is quite nice there.
Favourite dishes so far: 24hr Sous Vide Beef Cheeks and 60/60 Chicken. Both dishes were beautiful inside and out.

What an amazing place! I had the pleasure of eating here with my family. The Distillery serves authentic food with delightful Maltese options. We were lucky to be the first to try their rabbit stew with pasta (Stuffat tal-fenek) which deserves 5 stars. Tastes just like Nanna's cooking. I highly recommend this restaurant for its delicious food and welcoming hospitality.

The Distillery Woodfire Restaurant is a unique eatery established on the very grounds of the former Minchinbury Winery heritage estate in Minchinbury dating back to 1860.
In 2013 this once abandoned site began transforming into a breathtaking restaurant maintaining much of the rustic charm of the precinct.
Original fixtures were left untouched, including beams, stairs and the large beehive well which once supplied water to the Distillery on display at the entrance.
Today, the Distillery presents as a spectacular museum showcasing the forgotten culinary history of Western Sydney, only 45 minutes from the CBD and approx 10 minutes from Parramatta. Diners can experience the fresh contemporary menu, for lunch or dinner, while enjoying a delightful historical journey.
The menu features a delicious modern take on traditional recipes. A range of herbs, vegetables and edible flowers are grown onsite guaranteeing freshness. Ingredients are sourced daily from local and respected farms and suppliers. The restaurant is fully licensed and diners can enjoy a selection of quality wines.

Lovely hidden restaurant. Beef cheeks were great, wasn't a fan of the pea puree however. Pizzas were great and service was a delight. Definitely will return.
