Tempura prawn and fresh actually was tasty unlike most. soup was nice and balanced too.
No prices on menu which when asked the waiter went through all costs which was about average to below on cost. Same for sushi train.
It was my first time at a food train restaurant, so it was pretty exciting to see how it all worked. As someone who avoids fish, there were still plenty of choices for me - fried chicken and avocado nigiri and crab stick sushi were two nice options. I'm also glad that they had forks (which come around on the train), because I was surely embarrassing myself trying to wrestle with the chopsticks. They also had a few things missing on the train that were on the menu, but that is to be expected. The dessert that I tried (some kind of white coconut cake with creamy icing) was pretty awesome too. If you just go for the cheaper plates, you can have a very cheap dining experience that will leave you full and satisfied. My husband and I opted for a mixture of price ranges and it still ended up cheaper than any of our usual dinner spots - and we were both totally full.
To sum up: Sushi Bay has fresh good, good service, and is an fun and tasty way to have an affordable meal.
Always consistent, and friendly staff. Quality of the food is always good, with a nice selection of black rice dishes. My favorite sushi train in Westfield Miranda.
