Tempura prawn and fresh actually was tasty unlike most. soup was nice and balanced too.
No prices on menu which when asked the waiter went through all costs which was about average to below on cost. Same for sushi train.
It was my first time at a food train restaurant, so it was pretty exciting to see how it all worked. As someone who avoids fish, there were still plenty of choices for me - fried chicken and avocado nigiri and crab stick sushi were two nice options. I'm also glad that they had forks (which come around on the train), because I was surely embarrassing myself trying to wrestle with the chopsticks. They also had a few things missing on the train that were on the menu, but that is to be expected. The dessert that I tried (some kind of white coconut cake with creamy icing) was pretty awesome too. If you just go for the cheaper plates, you can have a very cheap dining experience that will leave you full and satisfied. My husband and I opted for a mixture of price ranges and it still ended up cheaper than any of our usual dinner spots - and we were both totally full.
To sum up: Sushi Bay has fresh good, good service, and is an fun and tasty way to have an affordable meal.
Always consistent, and friendly staff. Quality of the food is always good, with a nice selection of black rice dishes. My favorite sushi train in Westfield Miranda.
This place is always busy which is a good thing as it ensures that the food rotating om the belt is fresh. The typical, loud "welcome" greeting is shouted out as soon as you walk in & service is polite & always with a smile. There is a good variety to choose from thats on rotation but if there is anything else you fancy, you can order & one of the sushi chefs will be happy to make it for you. There are also hot noodle & rice dishes that can be ordered if you wanted something more substantial & it is also BYO. Save yourself some room for Messina right next door afterwards if you wanted something sweet, it is much better then any of the desserts on offer on the belt. They also offer takeaway if your short on time as well as catering.
Friendly service and extremely efficient. Love how they have black rice sushi and rice paper rolls. Price is really affordable compared to a lot of sushi trains around the shire. This is our number one preference when it comes to sushi train.
Always a friendly greeting. The food train is set out well with signage ( e.g. entrees, hot meals, desserts, etc ) and great seating arrangement. Plenty of variety of fresh food. Reasonably priced.
So rarely write reviews but was really impressed by the quality of this sushi train. The sashimi was cut to be nice and fleshy and served at a perfect temperature. It didn't look like any of the fish had been frozen; the variety was good, price reasonable, service quick and friendly. I'm coming back for lunch tomorrow :-)
The staff are so friendly, from the moment I entered the restaurant, we were well-looked after. The sushi selection is plentiful and fresh, as well as being reasonably priced, especially with the Entertainment Book 25% off voucher. Will definitely come back for my next sushi-fix.
Fresh delicious sushi! And friendly helpful service! The staffs kept checking on us to make sure we were looked after.
Consistent Reliable Sushi Train. Restaurant has been clean most of my visits and has ample seats and a table section for bigger groups. The sushi is really good here probably one of the better Sushi Trains in the Sutherland Shire. I find the Sashimi is always fresh and the Salmon Belly up there with some of the best I’ve had. Highly recommend.
Amazing customer service, the team working today were clearly short staffed and were doing their absolute best. Witnessed a shocking customer treat the team with utter disrespect today for no reason! Made me upset to see. The team did such a great job today & the food was great - well done ladies!
