Really lovely and friendly service from the bar staff. Ordered the grilled barramundi with chips and salad. The fish was so succulent and well seasoned, the chips tasted fresh with a nice crunch. Wine list had a great selection of good wines at a very reasonable price. Fun pirate theme throughout and fans going to keep us cool.
An amazing place with an amazing atmosphere. We had great service the entire time from when we arrived as it opened. The bartender was a great laugh the entire time, best captain jack sparrow impression you will ever hear. We ordered the meat for two, and oh my GOD. When it came out and very quickly from ordering it, presentation was immaculate, staked to the roof with smoked meat and chips and salads. It was smoked to perfections, everything fell off the bone and had an amazing flavour, the home made fries were to die for, accompanied by the in house made dressing for the coleslaw made it an amazing meal in every aspect. The whole place is a reason in itself to return to mission beach.
The Pirate Den ticked every box for us, and we will definitely be coming back to mission beach just to eat here. The food was absolutely spectacular with a wonderful variety to choose from. Everything was so fresh and cooked to perfection! Not to mention very well priced as well. But it didn’t stop there! The staff were fantastic, it was so nice to be greeted with such beautiful smiles and bubbly faces. The girls just made us feel so welcome and spoiled. The atmosphere and vibe just topped it off to an already amazing experience for us. Even our fur baby was welcomed with open arms. A big thank you to all the staff for making our night so great 🙌 If I could give more than 5 stars I would 😊
Been here several times in the last few nights on our holiday and I've seen several faces repeatedly, and I know why!! These guys are nailing it every dish. You definitely need to book because they are so busy, but the food is amazing and definitely worth the wait. As their menu says " They don't do fast food, they do great food as fast as they can" We will definitely be back next visit to mission beach.
My partner and I enjoyed this place a lot. We came here to eat 3 times in the week we were there. Fresh seafood, felt like the oysters were really fresh and not even a day old and they were amazing. Salmon and barramundi was also delicious. Nice staff. Visiting mission beach in general has made our decision easier to move up north as the people are super nice and friendly.
It was very busy when we arrived but they quickly found us a table and politely advised that meals might take a while. Didn't matter much because Nev was playing music which was really entertaining and when the food arrived, it was great. Wife loved the barramundi, son loved his garlic prawns, other son and I loved our huge pizzas. Nev even let my son and I a song each during his break! We loved it so much that we went back the next night too for Nev and his band. The pork ribs and vegetable lasagne were great on night two also! Really friendly and helpful.
