Review Mishou's Cafe - Mitcham

A very pleasant experience! Came here for a quiet late lunch and was feeling like something unique from the ordinary cafe lunch cuisine. I discovered that Mishou’s do loaded potato skins, which is something not normally seen on cafe menus! I ordered the mexican loaded potatos and it was d-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s. So hearty and very filling, also a great price point at $10. It was exactly the unconventional dish that I was craving for (not to mention the tiny teddy that was given with my chai latte, a side of childhood nostalgia!) Service was beyond hospitable, thank you Michael and Linda for accommodating us close to your closing time we had a very enjoyable experience. Will be back in future

Dropped by one Saturday morning and ordered soy latte and mocha. Loved the coffee, enjoyed our time here. Will be back if we are in the neighborhood again!

Wow! What a lovely place for friendly service, fresh food (that is superbly yummy too), and amazing freshly squeezed orange juice. Must come back for more soon!

An understated Cafe in a strip of shops where you wouldn't expect to find a great place for breakfast. Service was excellent and the menu although not extensive still had a good range of veggie options with excellent value for money.

Michael and Linda have always made the best breakfast in the area and coupled with their awesome service we prefer Mishous to any where else. With lockdown they have adapted and now make, by far, the best egg and bacon rolls in Melbourne and have a great special to start your day. Only $10 for the best brekkie roll AND a cuppa coffee. Don’t bother going any where else just swing by Mishous. While you are there, pick up a snack or something just as yummy for lunch.

Simply as good as it gets. Great coffee, great food, great people. If you are in Mitcham take the time to visit. You will not be disappointed. French toast with fruit, Vege scramble aor anything you want freshly cooked.<br/><br/>Yum!

Got a coffee, one word: crap! <br/><br/>Took about 15 seconds for the person to make, the milk was just poured in, and I think they forgot to add the coffee. So basically, paid $4 for tepid milk and water.

Michael and Linda are the greatest!!<br/>Our office had coffee almost every day for a good couple years (until we moved suburbs) and they never forgot who's coffee was which and always had an amazing blueberry muffin ready for me 😍<br/>Always made you feel like family and even for a caring fatherly hug from Michael when I was having a tough time dealing with my divorce. <br/>Just gorgeous, wonderful people and I still miss my Mishous breakfast chat!!

Absolutely love Mishou's.  We have been going for coffee and food for 8 years.  The owners, Michael and Linda, treat us like family.  They have watched our children grow and the boys, who are 3 and 6, always ask to visit.  The coffee is perfect and the food is simple, but tasty and very good value for money.  I can't recommend this cafe highly enough.

Mishou's cafe is the Mitcham equivalent to a "Cheers like " bar because the proprietor, Michael greets at least half the people coming in by their first name. The coffee prepared by Michael is always an excellent coffee. The menu list doesn't change much and it doesn't have to because all of their dishes are simple tasty food cooked just right. Mishou's is the place you go in Mitcham when you want a good solid reliable meal and a good coffee in a very friendly environment which always has plenty of papers to read.

Would be hard to beat good reasonable price coffee and food in Mitcham<br/><br/>Good Soy Latte doesn't have to cost more than $4 and this place is a living proof of that.<br/><br/>Plenty of Newspapers to read while having those good coffees., they seem to have more than 3 copies of everything everytime I'm there.<br/><br/>I haven't got the chance to try everything that's coming out from their kitchen, however this cafe seems to be a popular place to hang out.<br/><br/>The only two things that annoys me .... <br/><br/>limited parking 1/4, 1/2 and 1 hr, I'm sure the City of Whitehorse knows how to support local businesses in the area  <br/><br/>and <br/>those inconsiderate smokers outside the cafe that loves to share their smokes with us inside, bacon & egg with extra smokes?<br/><br/> <br/><br/>Super pleasant couple run this place, you'll be warming to their hospitality.<br/><br/>Great to see this business flourishing.

Not the fancy kind of cafe, more like a take away shop though I found the food and coffee to be nice and at a decent price but don't understand why they allow people to smoke outside in a sheltered area.

Had the 'same same but different' (feta with avo smash and two poached eggs on sourdough), and a chai latte and both were superb. Nothing fancy but still a lovely cafe and also very affordable!!

Great family friendly local cafe. I take our gamily there several times a week. Consistently good coffee; reasonably priced food; always a daily paper available to read; and all served by friendly staff including Michael & Linda. Great for kids with clean bathroom facilities and a toy cabinet to keep the kids entertained

WOW!. My friends and I have been coming to this restaurant since they opened 8 years ago. What keeps us coming back is the friendliness of Michael and Linda, the wonderful food (much of which Linda makes), the cleanliness and the reasonable prices.

Apparently this place has been opened for 8 years- can't believe I haven't been here till now. Food and coffee was great. Reasonably priced and very friendly service. Will be back!

Great service. The owners Michael and Linda are always welcoming and genuinely take care to get to know and support their local community. The food is wonderful, breakfast and lunch and the coffee is the best within 20 km because it is made by truly wonderful people. Mitcham is a very lucky place. BEST COFFEE IN MITCHAM! Michael and Linda go above and beyond any expectations to provide the most amazing service. From the first time I walked in to their store, you're made to feel like family. So friendly and always happy to see you, they're the perfect example of what a family owned business is all about. Linda is an exceptional cook, and Michael has perfected the art of coffee. I love that I can walk in, and Michael already has my coffee started. I cannot speak highly enough of the team at Mishou's. I recommend everyone to them. Don't give it a miss. They're nothing short of fabulous!

This is how Service is done!!. The owners Michael and Linda are without doubt some of the nicest and most sincere people around. They define what is good service. Mishou's also hits the mark with great coffee and food.

Coffee served with a friendly smile. I have been going to Mishou's for my morning coffee Off and On now for 2 years. Went to Mishou's for the first time today for no particular reason in passing it. I now know how those in an earlier time felt when they stumbled upon a gold mine! I had the Iced Coffee, my mate had the Chocolate milkshake and we both loved them! Not to mention the inspired customer service that came from all the folk, why? Cause they simply relate and look after you! Will be going back - many times.

Fabulous coffee! It's real coffee, people and food. Michael and Linda are friendly and welcoming. Linda's felafel wrap is delicious. Excellent platters when you need catering - wonderful sandwiches.

Friendship, smiles and AMAZING coffee!!!!!. I have been coming to Mishou's for abut 3 years now and I honestly have not found a more friendly team of staff and such delicious food!! <br/>Michael and Linda are always so amazing to me.
