My fav cafe! Best food and service around!! Thank you!!
A lovey local cafe in mitcham that is dog friendly. Coffee and food are great with good staff. Love it
Gym freaks would love this place
Mylk Bar Heaven! 😍
I was lucky enough to visit this beautiful cafe earlier this week.
All I wanted when I came here was their Blue Bowl and I wasn't on the menu anymore but thankfully the wonderful staff could tell how much I wanted it and made it without any hesitatation 👌
What more could I ask for than a Matcha latte and their famous Blue bowl!
Would recommend and visit again 💗
Yum! Another local gem! Now, I’m one who would be picking a savoury option for brunch as opposed to something sweet, but I loved the sound of the Pink Lady smoothie bowl, topped with fresh berries, dried raspberry for crunch and a sprinkle of chocolate. I was so surprised as to how filling it was, but wow it was yum! Fresh and sweet!

This place consistently produces good food out of their Norish bowls. The duck is tender and succulent, used in good portion, while the hoi sin consomme is a diluted version of the asian classic which produces a lighter statement than usual. Smoothie bowls are delicious. Eggs could be better.
Coffee is satisfying and not burnt.
Service is great, staff are willing to engage and attentive.
The atmosphere comes across as warm and simplistic, and Mylk Bar holds true to their name in the sense of having a small range of old-school candy available for purchase, however this could be seen to be better incorporated into the general concept of their store.
Overall great local spot for food and coffee, well priced.
New place ! Yes heap of bowl ! Surprise the place are not that big. If you are small group of family, that still suit . They use Toby coffee bean, if you feel Toby coffee is not your choice, you need to re consider your choice. Their coffee is above average, you feel they want to deliver good coffee experience to customer ! They don't have lot of choice on their menu, but all they do are quit special ! Come and support them! Wish them have a great success
BOWLS BOWLS BABY!!! So many bowls l, what to choose?!
Two Seas” Smoothie bowl 🌊💙⚓️ 📍
Consisting of blue spirulina, banana, pineapple, avocado, strawberry, coconut water & hemp seed ~ it was like diving into a tasteful ocean & I was completely transformed into foodie heaven!
This Nourish Peking Duck Bowl was next level 💯😜
With duck, bok choy, cucumber, spring onion, sushi rice, hoi sin masterstock & puffed rice 🍚 🥬 it’s was like a party in my mouth! Lots of flavours and textures happening in this bowl which was it so enjoyable to devour 😜👌🏼👌🏼
With a modern, healthy twist this cafe has received a lot of love from many Melbournians already! If you haven’t checked out this cafe yet make sure you do! 💯
The old Mitcham milkbar has had new life breathed into it, thanks to the Madram boys, Dan McDonald and Mark Andersen.
These best mates opened their second venue, Mylkbar, earlier this year. The name was inspired by the location’s history, and the boy’s vision to create a Milkbar with a twist. Back in prohibition days, folks would go to a milkbar to have milkshakes, play arcades, and take food home for dinner. Mark and Dan believed with the change in trend towards healthful lifestyles, they’d offer a healthy version of the traditional milkbar, with that same traditional vibe.
Mylkbar focuses on offering a clean and healthy approach to both takeaway and dine in food. The main focus of the dine-in menu created by Jason Jarvis, are the nourishing bowls, with Mexican, Thai, Vegan, and Asian themes. There are also Smoothie Bowls, which are vibrant and nutrient rich, such as the Two Seas with spirulina, banana, pineapple, avo, berries, hemp seed, and coconut water. Breakfast includes Breakfast Smashed Avo with beetroot hummus and burrata; a breakfast bowl with poached eggs, house beans, avo, mushrooms, kale and spinach; and a selection of kids options.
For those with limited time, there are Rolls, Sandwiches, Smoothies, Juices, and of course, milkshakes! What caught my attention immediately, were the old school lollies at the front counter, and the ice-cream chest with childhood favourites like the Bubble O Bill. It’s no surprise kids make a bee line straight for the Streets ice-cream, which pays homage to the old milkbar.
Moona Projects are responsible for the clean and functional interior, which uses similar timber as MadRam, with the one striking difference being the black espresso machine and grinders. Milk is sourced locally from The Milk Guys, with alternative milk from Minor Figures and Milk Lab.
Coffee is thanks to the team from Toby’s Estate, and I thoroughly enjoyed the sweet cherry flavours of the naturally processed Myaing from Myanmar as an espresso. Head Barista Gee Kim brewed me a special Mexican Gesha, which is a hydro naturally processed lot from Finca Chelin. It tasted much like Negroni, with sweet winey tones.
tried out this gem located in Mitcham, an old milk bar turned into a gorgeous cafe! :) the staff were very welcoming and friendly, taking orders straight away and taking my coeliac seriously!
i had the Smashed avo and i loved it, had a perfect amount of food on the plate that left me satisfied and happy! my friends were also happy with their meals and they looked delicious, presented well and came out quickly!
the coffee was yummy, love the roast that they use! thank you to Mitcham Mylkbar for making the experience so lovely! i’ll definitely be back for more! :) well done guys!
There’s a new cafe on the block in Mitcham - Mylk Bar serving up healthy bowls but not your typical cafe with options like this incredible Peking Duck Nourish Bowl. The duck is cooked to perfection over 6 hours of preparation to get right! With bok choy, cucumber and an incredible hoisin masterstock, this dish is not the kind of dish you could find at every cafe 😉
Glad to have this Cafe in Mitcham.
very friendly staffs, great coffee
the food are delightful and the chef is impressive as we have table for 8 ppl and the food came out same time with great presentations.
Thanks team.
we are very happy and will definitely come back again.
Another great cafe to add to the list, Mylk Bar has a great selection of lunch time meals and treats along with great coffee and chai.
Special shout out to the Mac n Cheese Kransky - I swear I just went in for a snack 😅
