Review Mittagong Park Charcoal Chicken - Mittagong

Astra Morley
As of new management (by the looks of whole new staff) food had declined in state and taste. Calamari rings were cooking in the wrong batter. If you want a chicken stick, they don't sell them anymore and instead the batter is on your calamri rings. Never mind being tiny and looking like onion rings, the flavour will make you think you're eating burnt batter with some string. Crab sticks taste like the dough could be cooked longer and the fish is dry. Quality is still in the milkshake but this place will need time to either go back to their hidden glory or crumble under pressure. I could give it 2 stars but after hearing a local share their complains it's a 1 star.

I mean chips are ight could do some more chicken salt. To be honest the best chicken was the chicken salt , the chicken definitely made it feel like they harvested it from the park next door. Should've realised this as its in the name .wouldn't rate it at all but couldn't let some one else go through torture of eating pigeon like I did 0/10 wont be eating here agian . Then man that's served us seemed like he didn't want to be there #notgreatcustomerserves soo not halal mode .. update 2 hours after consuming the pigeon definitely had something inhumane In it my stomach could not comprehend this monstrosity of food I have eaten. I Will post a updated review in the morning to see how my colleague and I feel.please keep me in your thoughts and prays

I ordered a chicken schnitzel burger, hard not to get that right? However when I got home and opened the bag it was as if they had cleaned the grease off the hot plate with the top of the bun, also overcooked and tasteless. New management need to get on top of this.

Surprisingly good roadside stop for a quick and simple food-refuel of a burger, chicken or even fish and chips. This is not fine dining; however, serves the purpose well for an opportunity for a leg stretch and a feed before heading back onto the Hume Highway from Mittagong.

My experience was fine. Quality was fine, food was fresh, price was reasonable. (except a small box of hot chips is $6??)

Chips weren't bad, ch8cken was good, burger was good, but the barramundi was not barramundi. Concentrate on the chicken, don't go fish, and you won't go wrong.

It's okay. Fish and chips was good. Just a classic chip shop. Not many of these left these days
