Review The Pocket Espresso Bar - Moffat Beach

This is one of my favourite places for morning coffee, breakfast and brunch, which is why I keep revisiting. Every time, friendly and professional staff attend quickly - even on busier times - with great attitudes. The food is delicious, and have tried most on the menu! Always worth adding one of their unlike-any-other hash browns.

Best spot, best food, best staff. Couldn’t recommend more. I’ve heard they have a pretty alright trivia night too…

Always great coffee and food. It’s consistently crowded out the front and for good reason. I recommend booking if going for weekend brunch. I highly recommend the savoury french toast, or the roasted vegetable salad. I also love that you can build your own brekky - and the savoury mince is incredible!

We were seated right by the door to the outdoor area, everytime the door opens a freezing breeze came in. We were over charged for beers that the waitress missed and we had to ask for again. The old layout was way better. Apart from the food being good, which it would want to be for the prices, there's really not much going for this place. Don't recommend.

My favourite place to eat on the Sunshine coast!! I get so excited every time we come here. Always a great atmosphere, staff are up beat and friendly. The food is always immaculate!! Please bring back the tasty calamari !! :)

Great service, great food and delicious hot coffee. The place opens super ealry which is perfect for when you have kids. I love the fact their Breakky Tostada is Gluten free! I wish their Mimosas were available before 10am tho 🤣 Highly recommended !! A+++ P.s: the place gets a bit of a cold wind this time of the year but they got heaters and the outdoor part is great if you don't feel like the weather. Staff super helpful so talk to them!

Perfect escape from the rain in the cosy booth seating - faultless breakfast of chilli egg scramble with (lots of) bacon while mrs had salsa, halloumi rosti combo. Amazing flavours, textures and presentation. Great long black coffee and super attentive staff too - despite being busy. Can’t wait to return!

Great bustling cafe that is very dog friendly and a stones throw away from the beach! The garden out the back is funky and relaxed. There was a great menu selection. Had the chicken karaage burger which was very yummy with crunchy and well seasoned chips and an espresso frappe.

Ordered a burger & chips so over priced for what we received on our plate! Really dissatisfied wouldn’t recommend it.

It has everything. Delicious coffee, food and super, friendly staff. Still has a cozy feel with great atmosphere and to top it all off, an outlook of the ocean. Bliss! �

if this is the best food outlet on the coast god help us , the place has no atmosphere useless staff and needs a visit from the heath inspectors if this place is a hidden gem i must be missing something.

Don’t be deterred if it’s busy, we went on a Sunday when the place was pumping and we got friendly and speedy service and the food and coffee were great. New fitout is beautiful too, dibs on the window seat!

For anyone visiting Moffat beach, Pocket is Ze only place to have a meal, coffee or beer!! Best jo my on the Sunny Coast!!!

Great place, with great beer, an awesome vibe and they even have Pagan Cider from Tassie. We will be back very soon on another thirsty Sunday. �������

I had the most scrumptious gluten free savoury muffin, choc cherry slice and lemon, apricot and pistachio slice from your little coffee shop, absolutely DELICIOUS!!!

I don't often post food photos, but this one calls for a special mention. As a Gluten Free eater (not by choice but health reasons), it has been almost 2 years since I have had a burger that didn't make me sick or doubled over with stomach cramps. I haven't even attempted a burger in the last year because of it. So when we turned up to #pocketexpresso bar last night at Moffatt's beach in Caloundra, I was stoked to find out that all but 2 of the menu items were completely gluten free!! Shout out to the Pocket Expresso Bar and Cafe for making my day and providing me with the most AMAZING GF burger I have had ever, with a GF bun that tasted and felt like any normal bun. I left the bar and said to my hubby, so that's what it was like to leave a restraunt and not feel sick...it feels great!

Awesome service and love love love your coffee! Even better you guys make it gooood! Yet to try your food .. but looks & smells amazing when we drop in. Nice to have a bit of Melbourne style culture on the Coast. Pretty special all round really! ♡
