Review Coco Loco Club - Moffat Beach

Magdalene
Beautifully presented space with a refreshingly clean and inviting ambience. The menu selection is limited to smoothies, a small selection of acai bowls, coffee, juices and ice cream. But what they have, they do them well. We ordered the original and the dragon bowl. Everything was beautifully prepared, refreshing and delicious. I was a tad disappointed that the raspberries that were used were still quite frozen ( as you can see in the attached photo ). I understand why these freshly made acai bowls are expensive because of the quality of ingredients used and the attention to detail that goes into preparing them to ensure their freshness. Hence the disappointment at biting into frozen raspberries. The Banana Smoothies was wonderfully fresh and delicious. However the mocha was acceptable and the Danish Apple pastry lacked in freshly baked crispness.

Often I’m disappointed in Açai bowls as they’re bland and boring, especially when in the city. My açai bowl at Coco loco was great! I went with the Kapow. Toppings made it great and was presented very well. My daughter had chocolate gelato and was speechless for 15 minutes, a rarity. Was testament to how good it was. Poke bowl looked good too. Will be back!

Great place with a positive vibe. They have had a few changes since opening and are really nailing it now. Always a solid option for a coffee if the Moffat strip is epically busy. You can take a keep cup for a good price. Their breakfast bagels are really great.

Great coffee, would have been 5 stars but it's pretty obvious that it's another business ran by 14 year olds to save money. The girls did their best but they're left to their own devices to run a cafe.. I get it, it's cheap, just saying, it's irresponsible. The end result is lower than average service with the staff not being at fault

The staff and food here is great. The time it takes is a little more painful. Not just in busy times but all the time. It is however a sneaky place for a coffee when the rest of moffs is overcrowded. Very cool decor and quite.

The best part about this place is they promote earth friendliness. Grab a Coco Loco bucket, pick up some trash from along the beach and upon ypur return get a free coffee! Cool vibes, simplistic atmosphere, amazing coffee and smoothies and they promote local goods like Maleny Dairy. Hats off to these guys!

Super friendly staff and great smoothie bowls. We love going here because we can take our puppy along.

Shhhh... these guys make amazing coffee!!
Also totally in love with a protein smoothie, I would regularly get smoothies and one day I ventured into the food menu and got a smashed avo bagel, it was also delicious, always satisfied and enjoyed the fresh feeling vibes!
Food Culture
Very tasty coffee, nice and smooth! Good music playing while we were there. Very cool old school mural on the wall too!
They also had a few toys for kids to play with which is a plus now too.
I appreciated that they have a free coffee incentive for collecting rubbish from the beach.

Dropped in here to pick up a juice and really liked the vibe of the place. It is bright and airy inside and has a really nice relaxed beachy vibe to it. Service was fairly good and they made my juice very quickly. The juice combos are really nice – I chose a beetroot, pineapple, apple, ginger and mint. It was really delicious and not too badly priced. The cabinet of sweet treats also really caught my eye – they looked really good and also not too expensive.

I really liked this spot and would definitely return to try more options from the menu when in the area.
