Review Macfisheries - Mona Vale

I ordered a cheeseburger with no salad and raw onion not cooked onion. Quite simple. It came with lettuce, tomato, beetroot and no onion. In addition the meat was off and the bun was mouldy. I will be contacting the relevant department of public health and hygiene.

These guys really care about the food they prepare and do it well. My favourite is their grilled Salmon steak with grilled Calamari. So consistently good and very reasonably priced. 👍🏾

Was recommended by a friend that it is the best freshest around. Bought the snack box today was NOT disappointed. So much for 2 people $14 it was so good, perfectly battered, beautiful fish cocktail pieces so juicy! Huge calamari (not chewy or tough) and excellent chips! HIGHLY recommend!!!

Just horrible, my husband ordered a seared chicken burger which they confirmed he would get. Got a completely tasteless fried piece of something that did not taste like chicken which I threw in the bin. Never ever eat there again.

I purchased fish from these guys,so I thought. I chose fresh flathead from the window and the woman weighed it and after that as I turned around I sore her bend down and swap the fresh fish for what I found out later to be ammonia smelling fish,it was obviously old and when I got into my car I could smell it right away. I marched right back in and dumped the entire contents onto the counter in front of 20 other people, in Chinese I said "hochow"Wich means stinking.They were really embarrassed, but that was their problem. Do not go there.zero stars.0

Ordered salmon and chips to eat on the beach. Everything was delicious. Highly recommended.

Fish old, chips cold. Really disappointing

Worse fish and chips I’ve ever had batter on fish was that thick is was hard to find the fish , what was really off putting was one of the staff picking up the seafood without using gloves or tongs when I commented on it the response was thank you , won’t ever be going back .
