Review Melody's Licensed Cafe - Mooloolaba

Good location just across from the beach. The pumpkin spice breakfast with extra poached eggs was delicious. The eggs Benedict were nice but not spectacular. The coffee was great! The service was really good, too.

It was a really lovely spot for breakfast. The food was incredible. I really enjoyed the eggs bene (gluten free) with the Italian roast pork - you really should try the pork, surprisingly good :)

I like this cafe because of the coffee. However, I can give them 3 stars as the croissant and the cake (see the photos) were not fresh. Still will go there and recommend it to others. The plates and cups were also lovely. Finally, this cafe got a very good view of the ocean and the street.

Excellent breakfast - I had eggs Benedict with Tasmanian salmon and three others had eggs Benedict with beef. Another family member had waffles and another family member had corn fritters. The meals all came out together which was great. The coffee's were good too. The waitress even took a photo of all of us. Thoroughly recommend.

Breakie burger and chai latte where amazing. Service was quick and attentive. Well priced and good range to choose from. Will be back!!!!

Had lunch with my partner here today and I must say it was an all round pretty disappointing experience. The service was average, not accommodating with simple requests, couldn't offer a boiled egg in place of a poached egg (apparently they cannot make boiled eggs; fried, scrambled or poached only) and when asked if the poached egg could be cooked for longer, were given attitude for asking. The Caesar salad I ordered had anchovies, which I'd asked to be left off, they re-made my salad, but the chicken was poorly coated and dry, the was no parmesan and the croutons were laden with oil. My partners steak sandwich while looking better, was still average, full of gristle. None of the staff were wearing masks, despite standing right next to signs for the restaurant stating masks are mandatory. The establishment's beautiful location seems to be doing some real heavy lifting to accommodate for their lack of charm.

Hands down best breakfast experience we have ever had. Not only is the service amazing, the food is top notch and the staff (maddy) & owner go above and beyond to make you feel welcome! Highly recommend! Thank you!

Visited for the first time today and the food and service were excellent! Highly recommend heading here if you're out and about in Mooloolaba. And as someone who has Coeliac Disease, the gluten free range of food was awesome. Staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly.

The friendliest owners and staff, great food and great coffee. This place has it all including a wonderful atmosphere and a very happy vibe.

Great food, great service, great position. Love this little cafe with its fresh food, reasonable prices and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

My daughter and I had lunch fish and chips and a delious salad. Not only was the food great but the staff were so friendly and bent over backwards for us. It was my daughter and her 2 month old babies first outing and they warmed the bottle with out any hesitation recommend you to everyone.

We ordered 2 meals but they came out as one. They took it back and returned less than 5 minutes later. We are sure they just divided our bacon as we had hardly any compared to those around us. I asked for crispy bacon but it was only just cooked. Dissapointing. Won't return. Service was fine. Great spot. Shame about our food.

Fantastic service! I was up in Sunshine Coast from work for a few days, I walked past the cafe on the first day and was engaged by a staff member with a welcoming “Good morning, would you like a coffee?” I returned everyday until I had to leave due to their staff interaction as you just don’t get that type of service anymore. #thewayserviceshouldbe Cheers

My second visit in under a week and my new Mooloolaba favourite! Friendly staff, lovely setting and delicious food and coffee. I particularly love that it is baby and Mama friendly.
