Not a fine dining experience but rather beach casual... ✔ Friendly staff ✔ Licenced premises ✔ Great view ✔ Best clam chowder on the Sunshine Coast Do yourself a favour and grab a bowl of clam chowder in winter. You will not be disappointed 😌

Had late lunch. The prawns and crabs are very delicious. Fish popcorn is my daughter’s favourite.

I came here today for my birthday with my family of 6. We spent over $300 to wait for over an hour and a half for our meals. The meals then came up in paper trays wrapped in paper like at a cheap fish and chip shop. $25-30 per meal for a thrown together fish and chips. The food was absolutely disgusting and tasted old and spoilt. Do no go here if you’re expecting quality service and food. You’re better paying $20 at the local fish and chip shop.

The best seafood restaurant in the area. Friendly staff and fresh seafood. We tried everything and it was just divine. The sunset views are also amazing.

My first time back to The Deck since Covid. My friend and I both ordered the Caesar Salad with prawns and avocado for lunch. Such beautiful, fresh, big prawns and great crunchy salad. My long black cofee was also great. The woman looking after us was one of the best hospitality professionals I have ever come across: polite, smiling, friendly, and totally professional.

Beautiful WAcrayfish and local oysters fresh flavoursome and enjoyed with a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc

So fresh and absolutely delicious. My sister and I shared the prawns and oysters for a starter and the grilled platter for main. A lot of food we didn’t finish the platter but very good value and fresh.

Food tastes ok, just incredibly overpriced. Paid $22 for the fresh grilled fish and salad...out came a portion size akin to a whiting, and the salad was a measly bit of lettuce and one tomato slice. So it was a nice bite of fish, but not worth the price. Have noticed sizes and quality declining over he last three years of eating here. Sorry guys, won't be coming back now.

Appalling Service. I am a local, often dined at the Deck, with both small and large groups (6+). <br/>I WONT BE GOING AGAIN!!!<br/>I have never felt so discriminated against ever in my life. Absolutely disgusted. As an Australian born Asian i find the attitude of the staff so disgusting I will not recommend the Deck. Where in Australia are you told you can only park in this spot if you are immediately entering the restaurant to place your order as the business is suffering because you are taking up 1 car park. And then to be basically escorted out of the car park because I was waiting for my guests - I was horrified. I have a right to arrive 30 minutes early to find parking - I thought anyway. I strongly recommend if you want to be told where to park, when to order and ultimately leave as soon as your meal is done the deck is for you. If your business is suffering because I am taking 1 car park then I think you need to re-evaluate your business.

Nothing beats it. For seafood on the Sunshine Coast nothing compares to the Deck. Great service, always fresh and a lovely atmosphere. Great for families.
