Just having a cup of coffee at Gloria Jeans in Mooloolaba. Not interested in having a look at our vaccination status . Said it’s ok if we sit in the cafe to drink our coffee and have a cake as long as it is in a take away cup. …. The loophole, behave like a restaurant serve up paper cups and you are good to go, seriously . Since when do takeaways come on plastic trays to carry to the table? This aint no takeaway business , People sitting down with full trays of food and drink and no check in, seriously. Come on QLD government close them down .

I’m never usually the one to complain but this was not a good experience. I had to wait 30 minutes to get only two toasted sandwiches and when I finally got them, they were cold. I saw them sitting on the counter for 15 minutes before anyone did anything. The wait was so awful that I saw around 4 people complain that their food took too long, and this was only in a 30 minute period. The organisation and management should seriously improve soon. That being said, the staff were nice during interactions.

It's very hard to find a take away sandwich in Mooloolaba. Being one of the few places around, it takes 20 minutes to tell you the sandwich you ordered isn't available even though there where 6 in the cabinet when you ordered, then took another 10 minutes to actually serve it by which time the other sandwich you ordered had been sitting there for 10 minutes and gone cold... The staff are friendly though which is where the extra star comes from. No hesitation in recommending a hard pass.

Passionfruit freeze was not very nice, the biscuit was rock hard and inedible, daughter had Berry freeze, only tasted like strawberry lollies and was also not drinkable, pancakes were fridge cold and stodgy, will not be back and would not recommend. Only good thing was the friendly service.

Got the classic ham and cheese toastie plus 2 coffees in a regular takeaway cup. Toastie was absolutely disgusting the ham was all dried up the bread wasnt toasted properly. No tables are getting cleared and wiped down. There was three staff behind counter and needed to be a bit more friendlier. . Definitely wont be back to Gloria Jeans coffee in Mooloolaba

I like the GJ coffees at any of their franchises and Mooloolaba has a great position across from the beach. They can get busy as is the case with all the eateries at Mooloolaba. Recommended

My first & last experience of a Gloria Jean outlet. We had one Pescetariian in our group of 4 - "No we don't sell any vegetarian food" the girl told me! Pretty unusual in this day and age! Very slow service, and food was very ordinary when we finally got it. Sorry but that's 4 people that won't be back. PS: One redeeming factor is that the location on Mooloolaba beachfront is great

Worst Cream brulee ever!. Three staff members took 25 minutes to make 2 coffees and 3 cream brulees. Staff seemed to be in "down" time and no other customers (besides us) in their shop...They were all yapping about their social lives instead of making our order. Coffees tasted like second grounds coffee. And the Cream brulee had no caramel swirl on top...even though the shop pictures show it that way!!. I STRONGLY recommend trying another coffee shop!!! Its no surprise Gloria Jeans are a struggling business these days with poor service like that. By the way...the google review posted by K.M 17 hours before mine is fake 5 star review!!

came in today and ordered a toasty and coffee and received the worst service ever. The coffee was a disaster and the milk was not texturized. waited 15 minutes and while we watched the staff eat their own breakfast and discuss being vegetarians. i have managed cafes for years and would not employ any of your staff. This cafe needs a senior manager on at all times if you don’t want to go under.

I never ever have a problem with my large takeaway cappuccino. The staff are always kind, friendly, and smiling as I walk in. Gloria jeans is the only place for me, keep up the good work guys

I ordered bacon and egg toastie. Does not say anything about cheese. Being lactose intolerant yeah. No cheese. Guess what came out loaded with cheese. Got another one. What a waste of money. Bacon came out loaded with fat and I measly very tiny egg. No sauce nothing. Very very dry. Waste of money. Girls don't care no smiles no customer service ability at all. Never going back

Was just served by a girl and she couldn't have been more uninterested in my service.. almost cancelled my order and went elsewhere.. gelatissimo might have some people with customers service and it's only a few doors down

i was in yesterday with my two daughters, Hannah my 5 year old was so happy to make her first purchase all by her self and the girls behind the counter was very good with her.

We ordered 2 drinks. The girl serving did not even look me in the eye, said the bare minimum to get our money and could not wait to get back to sitting on the customers bench to play on her phone. Really bad customer service considering all the other coffee shops nearby.

I came into your store today and ordered an iced latte to have there. I’m disgusted that I was given a one time use plastic cup, plastic lid and plastic straw. When every day I see this type of litter all over the pristine beaches of the Sunshine Coast. Why would you not use a more sustainable product in this day and age?? Especially when the Gloria Jean’s website says the following about reducing their environmental impact!!!
“We are also focused on reducing our environmental impact. We are a signatory of the Australian Government’s National Packaging Covenant (NPC) and have action plans in place to reduce the impact of our packaging on the environment.”
What exactly does this above statement mean??

My home away from home coffee shop (live in Dallas, TX, USA). It's always a sunrise walk on the beach and then our flat whites. Each time we come to visit, the coffee crew is amazing. I keep my GJ loyalty card in my wallet at all times so I don't forget it each time we travel to Mooloolaba.
