Review Brekky Joint And Juice Bar - Mooloolaba

Changed hands a couple of years ago: Pros: Guy running the place is really nice and friendly. The place does a decent Eggs Benedict (though it's smaller and more expensive than it used to be) Cons: Milkshakes used to be bigger, colder and much sweeter and creamier, and used to come in the big old school metal cup. Not any more... Prices have generally increased, and food and drink portions have generally gotten smaller. Really disappointed. Used to be one of my favorite breakfast places.

Relaxed and food was excellent. The owner (I think) was so gracious and really cared about the customer experience. If you're veggo they'll accommodate easily. Prices are reasonable for the quality of food. Coffee was good too.

Fabulous breakfast as always, we have been away for a year and just returned to the coast, this is still our favourite breakfast place. Superb eggs benny and the coffee is good, owner and staff super friendly. Their juices and Açai bowls are great, too! Read quite a few negative comments here which in my view are very unjustified so feel a positive review is in order - don’t bring coffee into a place that sells coffee. Just as you don’t bring your own drink to a bar - same same! :) Keep doing what you’re doing guys. We will be back again! :)

Me and my girlfriend went out to a nice beautiful cafe this morning in Mooloolaba. I visited the cafe when I was younger with my school friends. Next door is one of the best coffee houses on the coast in my opinion and I used to get one from there all the time until today. We visited the cafe and I went and did what I used to do when I was younger and grabbed a coffee from next door and bring it over to the cafe. As I sat at the table me and my girlfriend was sitting and we were approached by the waiter and I was told are could not drink it at the cafe. I was compliant and understanding so I apologised and went next door to finish my coffee so I could order some nice breakfast. It wasn't until my girlfriend was approached 3 minutes later by the waiter and as told we would not be served and we had to leave as the cafe is now closed. We were both confused as at this time it was only 12pm and it says online that it closes at 1pm and there were customers getting ready to order. We respectfully walked away and got in the car confused and concerned thinking we had done something wrong. It wasn't until my girlfriend looked online and found out that on the reviews people have been treated poorly and disrespectfully when it comes to bringing their own drink from elsewhere or home. My girlfriend was very upset and wrote a review saying she would not come back to the cafe again. It wasn't until she got a reply from the owner saying that we were rude and stuck up the finger and that is why we was kicked out which is completely false. This accusation is shocking for a business owner to say and is appalling behaviour. The food at the cafe is really good however the rudeness of the staff and owner ruins it. It is fair for a business to have policies and have its own way of running a business but a view signs or a warning would be nice. I hope the business can find a way around this and if they do ill be sure to go back and rewrite my review and give it the review it deserves.

Came to have breakfast here as it was recommended to us for its food. we frequent the coffee shop next door as the coffee is always top notch. We decided on this day to get a coffee first from shot house then tried to sit down for breakfast. we were told we were not welcome to sit at the table while we had a coffee from a competitor. Now I understand that so we got up and drank our coffee. We then sat down again and when the person came to take our order (maybe the owner?) continued to berate us about visiting the shop next door. We tried to ignore as much as possible and as i like to enjoy a coffee with my breakfast I ordered another with my meal as did my wife. They were both undrinkable, the milk was burnt and the coffee tasted under extracted. Our food wasnt fantastic but it was ok, if you’re going to turn people away from drinking a take away coffee from a shop that is next door to you (and then try to talk badly about them) make sure you can at least make a half decent coffee. Will not be back to this place again and if you want a good coffee wouldn’t recommend trying it from here.
