Review Noodle Box - Mooloolaba

Absolutely disgusting service and my meal was a total joke. Gathering the Asian chef was taking the mickey due to being annoyed he had to make my meal again as I asked for seafood noodles and received fried rice. When I returned home I realised the food I received was wrong, I called and asked for my order... the boy on the phone couldn't comprehend I wanted noodles not rice but said they would re make it and it would be ready in 10. I drove me and my 4 kids back to the shop 15 minutes later and they still hadn't started making my order. They seemed annoyed I had requested what I actually ordered. Lots of whispering, immature and unprofessional behaviour. The extremely rude young boy insisted I give the rice back before handing over my noodles…. (fine but like it was half an hour old at this stage and my son ate a mouthful out of it before I realised it was wrong.….) no apology just pure arrogance. But what was most disgusting is when I got my correct' order and opened it up when I got back home again, there was only 2 tiny prawns and one tiny piece of calamari. Just one big box of noodles. No veggies no other seafood, literally 2 small prawns and a tiny calamari. I ordered seafood noodles. Taking the mickey like that is honestly disgusting and you should be so ashamed of yourselves!!!! Will never be returning and will make sure I tell all friends and family about how immature your staff are and how gross your box of noodles were. I would give this zero stars if I could.

If you love a good spicy creamy curry, I definitely recommend their Thai green curry. I think it tasted better if you ask them to put the curry in a different container with the rice. Will go back again!

I’m giving 1 star as I couldn’t give 0. This restaurant consistently prepares the most disappointing food. Tonight’s meal, as usual, was disgusting. Rice dish was bland and dry. Noodle dish was horridly sloppy and thrown together without any care. Both boxes were completely coated on the outsides with sauces and slop which spilled all through the bags. Stop selling food. You’re no good at it.

Hi, I'm the manager of Noodle Box Mooloolaba regards to the review that one customer have made toward our restaurant. I won't be mentioning the name, here I quote what this customer wrote on the 14th of May towards our shop: "It was disgusting, waste of money and stomach space.." I just want to explain what happened with this order, this customer made an online order with DoorDash, ordered one Nasi Goreng and one Malay Satay chicken and changed the noodle to fried rice. Later on that day, they called and complained our restaurant provided them with wrong order said "We've order Nasi Goreng and why you gave us a rice dish!" I replied "Nasi Goreng is fried rice dish" the customer soon interrupt me said" no no no! it supposed to be a noodle dish!" I explained "Nasi Goreng is an Indonesian styled fried rice, it means fried rice in Indonesia" The other person said angrily next to the phone "Are kidding me?!" I said "if you don't believe me you can google on the internet" They also said "it looked like noodle to me on your DoorDash menu, and said bye and hang up the phone. Later on that night they rang again and said they've left a bad review and will never came again. I asked nicely said: "Are you the person who rang earlier about the Nasi Goreng?" The customer said "NO NO NO, IT DOESN'T MATTER WHO AM I, and its not just about the fried rice, the taste of it is just bad as well as your dim sims, we will never come here again!" The customer also complained about the spice in the fried rice. Here I just want to clarify that I don't think our Nasi Goreng is bad, in fact it is very very popular among MANY MANY of our customers, I also explained to this customer that "the flavor of Nasi goreng may not be everyone's cup of tea, you don't have to like it." Everyone have the right to have they like and dislike, you've said your piece, here is mine. Have a GOOD Day!

Absolutely amazing, ordered 3 regulars between 4 and none of us could finish them. So filling and so tasty, definitely coming here again 🙂

Was looking forward to kway teow last night but got over sauced dark soy mess. Daughter ordered satay noodles and got exact same sauce noodles dripping in liquid. Very disappointed

Love their deep fried wonton with sweet chill sauce. Also their deep fried dim sims, personally think their taste better then steamed ones. Cos I love the crunchy texture

As a local in Mooloolaba I thought I would give them a second chance, wrong decision, steamed dims sim were hard as rock, sure they had been microwaved, sweet and sour pork i think was pork smelt burnt... no one else in the shop or waiting so no excuse... won't be back I've been twice to many times now. Sad Lots of rice and couple bits of pork... not value if all you get is rice and wilted veg . No excuse for bad food. Not happy Jan.
