This quaint restaurant serves some of the most authentic Thai food in Melbourne. The dishes are well presented, delicious and generous. The Thai music adds to the authentic feel of the place. I highly recommend this venue.
First impression of this place is that it looks pretty quaint. The menu covers the predominant Thai cuisine. Service was not great. Sometimes rude. We asked for dessert after 9 pm. We were told that kitchen was closed. If we knew that we would have ordered the dessert before 9 pm.
The ambience of the place is average. Mismatched curtains gives a feeling that you are at an ordinary place.
I've been enjoying Samanee's delicious food ever since eating there with family a few years ago. Whether eating in or ordering delivery, the food has never dissapointed and always leaves me extremely satisfied. Great range of dishes, fresh ingredients, and packed full of flavour.
We had an exceptional meal the other day. The flavors were lovely and the food was fresh. The massman curry was excellent and we enjoyed the slightly different stir fry with mango and a light sauce.
