Had half price lunch and it was so worth it! The burgers namely the field burger and chicken crunch were super tasty! The beer battered steak fries are crunchy and delicious and never disappoint. My garlic aioli sauce was a great addition too. My nephew had the yummy calamari (not the rings but the real squid strips) and fries kids meal. Can't wait to go back!
Came in for lunch today and couldn't be more impressed with both the food and service. Our waitress Maddie was delightful, super helpful and endlessly cheery, making the experience just that much better. Would definitely recommend TSG Watergardens to friends.
Great service... kudos to Maddie for making our dine a great one. Moonee Ponds were very ordinary but water gardens have changed my view on the sporting globe brand. Keep up the great work!!!
I absolutely can not fault this venue. We went there to watch the mighty Bombers smash Port Adelaide and what a cracking afternoon we had. The staff, the food, the beers, the atmosphere - second to none!!! Can’t wait to come back!
YUUUUMM!! The food was so good!! Especially the loaded cheeseburger fries!!!! Keep them on the menu please! Also thank you to our lovely waitress Kim for her prompt and polite service.
Wonderful time was had last night! Amazing food and drinks! All thanks to tegan our server who was attentive and on the ball
We went here for my daughters 18th birthday last night. Had a group of about 15 people. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff (thank you Olivia ) and they went out of their way to make sure everyone was happy, both food and drinks wise. Food was great. We will definitely be coming back and I think you will have some new customers from our friends and family who had not been before. Thank you for making it a great night
Great venue, even better staff, food was great and beer was cold. Can't ask for much more
Olivia is the absolute best. She gave us soooooo much free food ;) jks she was really good. Great service xoxo Gossip girl
Me and my girlfriend along with our babies came here for lunch yesterday and we were so impressed! Our meals were amazing we both had steak as it was steak special Tuesday my Angus Rump was cooked to perfection and the service was good! Best steak I have ever had! Will definetly be back
Wonderful service from Ebony, Hayley, Olivia, Kim, Tegan and Carrieanne ... couldn't ask for a lovlier team, busy night and they nailed service with a smile. The food was amazing, drinks delicious and would highly recommend for a fun night out.
Came for dinner last night, the food was beautiful. We had the best service from Chaz, she was fun, energetic and when her shift finished she handed our table over to Adam who also gave us great service.
The Sporting Globe is definitely a go-to spot to eat when in doubt. It has all of your favourite pub style food and more. There are comfortable and clean booths to sit at with each having their own tv to watch your favourite sports channel (though I’m really there for the food). My favourite by far on the menu are the beef BBQ ribs. They have a seven day line up with means every day of the week there is some sort of special eg 1/2 price wings & ribs. It’s a casual dining place where you can bring your family, friends or date. It’s pretty quiet there usually so the service is good, just avoid when there’s a big sporting match on as the whole place will be packed.
I came here with a friend for steak night and was impressed with the value for money. They do half price steaks on Wednesday and you can’t complain for $15-25 for a great pub meal.
This is a perfect place to hangout and have fun with your buddies and have some bite that is definitely worthy every penny you pay. I ordered Portuguese dry rub Boneless chicken bites which had wonderful flavour I enjoyed till my next meal. The Buffalo Loaded Parma did really melt in mouth. So so yummy. I can never ask for anything more from the dish. The dessert where buy 1 get 1 Friday Line Up was an unexpected delight.
I told you it is all worth the money..
Good for pub grub....the menu is extensive and the staff are pretty good. Sadly there is no volume on any of the tvs showing the wide array of sports. Quite strange
The food was very tasty and great value for money. Would recommend this place to hang out with friends. The food came out super fast and service was fantastic xxx
This may be abit a high score for my first visit and a Parma and chips. But faultless so far. Really wrapped that this place just do it well. Marketing is on point, with daily specials and menu well planed out.
Great venue for a multitude of crowds, and lastly the Parma, haven't had a juicier piece of chicken in a while. From chef to chef. I was impressed. Can't wait for my next visit!
Surprisingly scrumptious for an unassuming sports bar, we'd definitely come back for more when in the area! The mac and cheese balls were beautifully crunchy on the outside and light and creamy on the inside. The halloumi and mushroom slider was a highlight of the meal - so flavoursome and tasty.
I went here for a drink with a friend and it turned out to be quite a nice place to chill. The service was friendly and the serving size of the dishes we ordered was decent. Would go back.
With the debacle of EPL no longer being on Foxtel this is where my friends go and see some soccer. Nachos are great to share and so is the chicken wings. Love the TV setup!
So we went there 3 times, between 2-5PM. Every time the food we got was amazing, perfectly cooked. 3rd time we got 12 wings of 2 flavours and Shoestring Fries on the side of Portuguese flavour. $16.9 for 12 wings + $5.9 for a side of fries, it's expensive BUT tastes sooo good. Ribs taste yummy as well but u don't buy ribs for value now. They have specials on specific days for food+drinks that are Great value. Jugs of beer are $16-$25ish, so also high. The service has been super friendly, nice and fast, extremely fast, did I mention fast!, this was during the day without a specific event on. Would i recommend it ? Hell yes! Oh there's TV's to watch sports but we didn't go there for that.
The food was great - wings, burgers and desert. Brilliant idea to have tv at the table - kids were entertained while we were all eating. Great service and menu options. Will be coming back again.
Watched the epl a few times with mates. Standard sports bar food burgers, parmas etc. Good atmosphere and has some great international sports coverage.
My go to place for watching A League football as Im guaranteed a good spot to watch. Staff are always friendly and professional, food is decent and good value and there's enough space to avoid any dickheads that may be about. It is what it is but I like it!
Went for an afternoon snack, ordered the pulled pork burgers, calamari and wedges. Tasted great! Only thing took a while to get someones attention to order and the food took a while to come out but weather was great so didnt mind the wait.
I like this place, how could you not?
The food is all american style burgers, wings & ribs.
Mix that in with the races on some tvs and every sport running similtaneously on the big screens and you have a winner here
Staying round Melbourne in a State of Origin week led partner & me to search for a local venue that would definitely show the game as well as have decent dinner fare without spending too much. This place fit the bill well, would give 7.5/10 if I could.
Good-sized crowd but actually not as crowded for dinner as I might've thought, guess more people were in the cbd/MCG? We were seated at a standard table with a good view of one of the larger screens, but kind of wished we'd asked if a booth was available just for the novelty of having our own little screen :)
If anything the dining area downstairs seemed a bit overstaffed at least early in the evening. Waitstaff were borderline overattentive in ensuring we were well-fed and watered, but from my partner's stint in the US for work it sounds like classic American-style service.
Happily, Wednesday coincided with parmas on special as well as cocktails & craft beers. Pretty good quality and quantity left us comfortably full, so we retreated up to the bar area to watch the game proper and order more food & drinks in our own time.
At half time we were split on dessert options so ordered the tasting plate via bar staff. Staff numbers seemed to have dwindled by then and it took close to 30 min for the order to emerge, but it got there and was worth it for the two of us - delicious.
Overall a variation on the pub scene worth checking out, good service, staff numbers a bit variable, happy with the food. Costs stretched our modest budget a bit but not too much. Would go back if in the area again looking to watch a game or such.
Would not dine here if you are searching for an amazing dining experience. It's your typical pub meal but the meals are reliable and always of the same quality.
Would not recommend trying to go for a feed during a busy event such as Friday night footy or the like, as waiting times for food is outrageous. Overall a good environment to have a pub meal, most of the time

Burgers and Sport!. Agree with others - at time the service can be slow, meals can take a while to come out but I think they are improving on this. Really you come to the Sporting Globe to watch 16 sports at once - seriously there are TVs everywhere, including one personally for you at your table. The food is above average pub fair, burgers and parmas a good. Buffalo wings excellent. Beer is plentiful and TAB facilities as well. Not a bad recreation of an American sports bar at all - just stay away from the Nachos the only real disappointment.
Understaffed always.. I'm writing this review because i love you.
Please double your staff numbers so that I can order your amazing buffalo wings and beers within the hour that I walked in.
Love the food here and love the concept. Feel extremely sorry for the waitstaff. They are ALWAYS understaffed. Generally one waitress for the whole back section with an occasional cameo from a manager. Despite the fact they are clearly under the pump they are always friendly, apologetic and genuine. Don't lose these amazing staff by forcing them to continue to do the job of 2-3 people!
Came into the sporting globe Sunday night with a large group of families. We had lots of children and were absolutely amazed with the quality of service, quality of food and general experience at the sporting globe. The brown haired, tall, smiley waitress was delightful and made a large complicated order, easy and hassle free. The meals came out quickly and were fantastic. Will definitely be back. Great work to their entire team!
Great experience. Have been a few times for drinks and food, love the decor, also love the tv in the booths. Food is pretty good, classic bar snacks.
The pizzas are very good and the food deals are great.
Overall a good place to go for the atmosphere and cheap eats.
Went here for dinner with my boyfriend the other night and loved it.. I ordered the Bruschetta, Royale Cheese burger and the Chocolate Mousse. I couldn't fault any of the food that we ate. I loved it all, plus I had the added bonus that my boyfriend was happy watching the Socceroos play. I will definitely go back and I will recommend this venue to everyone I know!!
I ordered the tuesday steak special but it wasn't quite right. The chef went out of his way to make sure I was happy with my meal. I swapped it for the calamari, it was delicious and they offered free dessert to make up for it. Service was great! I will definitely be back.
Just had lunch at the sporting globe and was well impressed.
Good service, tasty food and great decor, will be returning .
Me and my boyfriend went here tonight and it was amazing! Started with the buffalo chicken bites and I had a wrap whilst he had the ribs! He was in heaven!! Will be back again
Nice burgers, cheap lunch deals, could do with a bit faster service but overall I'll be back!
Great service, good value, awesome parma's & great spot to watch sport. Kids eat free Sunday night deal is also a bonus.
Great atmosphere, amazing food - order the buffalo wings - you will not be let down! I'll be back:)
Awesome service and awesome food! Will def be coming back!
It seems that if we judged both parmas on just the first half of the schnitzel then the globe would be getting stellar scores, yet the pair of them both have issues once you pass the halfway point – The MVP getting kinda boring and the Buffalo being just too damn rich, don’t let this discourage you though – I would definitely (and most likely will) have this parma again – The Buffalo especially is a great change of pace for someone wanting to try something a bit different and don’t mind a bit of spice, it’s a unique parma experience that will definitely stick with me.
