Food was DELICIOUS. Burgers are sensational. Waffle fries were perfect. Dessert tied it all together. Service was outstanding. So polite and friendly. I could not recommend this place any more. Will be returning very soon!

Good burgers and right in front of the train station. This is one burger place you have to try. The waffle fries and aioli are scrumptious. The staff were friendly and the manager even asked if everything was good.

Have been a regular customer for a long time but am very disappointed with the customer service. I always order my burgers on a GF bun due to gluten intolerance but this is not taken seriously by staff. On multiple occasions my order has arrived with a regular bun. When I call and explain that I have a dietary requirement staff are very unhelpful and have even hung up on me! Very sad that they don't take dietary requirements seriously. Can't believe that someone would think it's okay to send out a regular bun when someone has requested (and paid more!!) for a special dietary option. Have also ordered an item for a friend requesting an ingredient be omitted due to allergies. When the item arrived with the allergen in it, I called Burger Kitchen who advised we just 'pick it off' and once again hung up on me. I hope for the sake of others that they take food safety more seriously in the future and understand that not everyone is ordering a substitute just for a fad or a trendy diet. Assumptions like that are dangerous.

Burger Kitchen In Moonee Ponds, very wide range of burgers and add ons, and also great value for money. I had the Beef & Mac Cheese with an added potato rosti. These guys make their meat patties in store and the owners are friendly. The burger was juicy, flavoursome and we'll put together. Thanks for having us! - Hungry

Great selection of scrumptious parmas, burgers, boozy shakes, and waffle fries to satisfy those occasional indulgent desires. The portions are massive, and there's beer.

My favorite ! A very good address to Moonee Ponds, good products, a nice team. Very good beef and chicken burgers but also the Philly cheesesteak to test! Special mention to the loaded fries.

Really disappointing.... I went here a few months back and the food was awesome. Particularly the loaded fries. Went back today and got a shake, loaded fries and a burger each for me and my girlfriend. We both agreed they were probably the worst burgers we'd ever had. I got grilled chicken when I asked for crumbed and the chicken only took up half the burger. Shake was a glass of milk with one squirt of blue heaven in it. $8 later... Fries were soggy and there was almost no cheese on them.. And the serving size has halved since last time. It's a shame we got take away and didn't find out til we got home. Tried calling to speak to the manager but they don't answer their phone. Truly was excited to go here but now I'll never go back. Don't waste your money is my recommendation.

We went to the Burger Kitchen for my son's 16th Birthday Dinner with family.....The staff were very friendly and the food was fantastic and the service very quick so nobody was waiting around very long between ordering and having meals served....I loved the music they were playing...and the vibe and set out of the place and the warm and friendly nature of the staff was great ( loved seeing the staff enjoying what they do...and having some fun as well while they cooked and served the customers....made the place feel more friendly and enjoyable) Would love to thank the staff of the Burger Kitchen...for making the night and my son's 16th birthday dinner a great one....will be back for sure...and will recommend you to others as well.....Keep up the great service :)

Awful delivery experience. Burgers turned up late, burgers turned up cold. Gluten free burger was not identifiable from non gluten free. Two cans of coke were ordered, one arrived. 40 minutes late. The bacon ordered in the burgers simply wasn’t in them. Chips cold and wooden. After microwaving they tasted like soggy wood. What did they get right? The two shakes that we ordered with them. Delivery guy informed us they were late because of ‘confision’. But we had to call them to find out where the food was prior. Perhaps in all th confusion they could have called and told us apologised, then cooked a fresh meal instead of delivering this epic failure. But nope.

Loaded fries and burgers were really good.. however .. every order seemed to have something missing or stuffed up. Ordered waffle fries , received normal fries, forgot onion rings on the burger , fries came out half an hour before the burger, Mac and cheese on the fries and burger were both cold .. then dessert I got choc pudding and it looked nothing like the pic on Facebook .. it was just a single barely warm dry choc cake which if my eyes were closed I wouldn’t have even guessed was choc. .. also forgot to put the ice cream on this one. Friend got double waffles and didn’t get most of the stuff it said it came with , others got the fancy shakes and got a few sour gummy worms on the board with it but none of the stuff from the pictures they had of them. People generally visit these places because they want the crazy insane over indulgence and it’s a bit of a let down when it’s absolutely nothing like any of the pictures that got your attention. It was a shame because we were soo hyped about going and getting also this crazy amazing food.

What a wonderful experience.. I am not great at eating meat but chose the barrel burger and wow .. was cooked to perfection. Both I and my friend thoroughly enjoyed our meal ..was lovely to see the passion and care the owner put in to her business.. thank you Highly recommend �����

THE BEST gluten free burgers you’ll ever find. I’ve tried so many supermarket bought gf buns & tbh they’re small, usually dry as old harry & crumbly. Burger kitchen gf buns are large, thinner, soft & delicious. The fillings are amazing. Go all you celiacs & gf intolerants. ��

Went here with family; food was great, massive portions and great service! This place also caters for vegans on request too! I was expecting to just go for the good old fries option but thought I’d just be annoying (typical vegan, amirite? 😘) and suss it out with staff. Next minute, the badass cashier was just like “yeah sure, we’ll just get this burger and change this, this and this” WHAT A LEGEND. She was super knowledgeable and created this delicious VG friendly meal that was an easy 10/10. Really, really appreciated their efforts and understanding.

Had lunch here today! The burgers were amazing, service was terrific and the staff very friendly. Highly recommend Burger Kitchen for a great burger.

Seen a post on Facebook about their food, went there the same day!! Was very impressed at the quality of the food!! It was also very busy and food was out with in 10 minutes! Definitely recommend and we will be back for sure :)

Have been multiple times & always leave feeling satisfied & intently craving my next visit! The burgers are simply delicious, fresh & the fries/onion rings are some of the best I've had - I'm always (happily) put into a food coma! Have recommended to others. I must also mention the owner - she is so very lovely & radiates the most welcoming atmosphere upon arrival & throughout. Happy eating! X

Great service - when we ordered a vege stack without the cheese, the staff member inquired if we were vegan, and knew which elements of the burger � contained dairy. Food is delicious and comes out hot.

Came here early and it was happy hour so we got cheap beer. Thats a plus. The service was attentive and friendly but we were the only ones in the joint. I had the Aussie burger and we shared some loaded fries. I liked the fries but rated the burger as a bit mediocre the patty just didn't do it for me but the rest of the burger was ok just not great. The waiter asked what l thought of the meal and told him such. Disappointing as Id read good things on zomato. Not about to rush back.

The burger is GREAT but I would opt for raw onion rather than caramelised unless you like a sweet burg. The waffle fries are a great choice. You can’t complain when then have beer on tap and pints for $7.50 (happy hour) The menu is a little bit too large and I think they should just stick to the burgers and philly steaks. The decor is a bit boring and needs a bit more of a vibe. Best burger in MP!! Get your burg on son!

The food and the customer service is fantastic! Pricing also very reasonable!! I had my daughter's birthday party here with 14 kids and 3 adults. Nothing was a hassle for them, they were extremely accomodating and would bend over backwards to make sure everything ran smoothly. Burger Kitchen have extremely generous kids menus - the beef burger kids combos and the chicken burger kids combos were absolutely massive and extremely generously portioned. To this day, all the kids at the party still rave about how good these burgers are! The kids who had the fish and chip kids combos weren't as keen on their choice (what can you say.....its a burger joint!). There is a great section at the back of the restaurant for larger groups (booth area), which was great so as we didn't disturb other patrons too much. Adults had chicken burger, beef burger and philly beef steak. The burgers and philly steak were so tasty and filling but I wasn't as keen on the philly steak (I had never had it before and was curious to give it a try). Support local businesses and give this place a try.

The customer service is amazing! My friend and I couldn’t decide on what to order and the crew member took the time to show us the most popular items from the list. In the end, I ordered the ‘Inferno Philly Steak’ with the ‘Texas Loaded Fries.’ The steak burger was delicious and full of flavour! I would highly recommend the ‘B&C Loaded Fries’ (which my friend ordered) for the cheaper price and more flavour (in my opinion).

Probably the best burger to try.<br/>This place is so underrated and I applaud the staffs working there. This place has some of the best burgers in town! I'd drive all the way here any day of the week if I crave one of their juicy burgers bad enough! Go there for burgers but their loaded waffles and fries are also must tries! Minion approves and recommends!

Ordered the falafel burger and small chips. Great service and food came out real quick. Falafel patty was nice. At first it looked like a frozen patty however it had nice flavours accompanied with great sauce. Chips were good

Varieties of burgers with reasonable prices. The service is slow though.  I had Cheese and Bacon Beast from their menu. It was quiet huge and excellent for the price. Would recommend it.

Found ourselves looking to eat in Moonee Ponds and this place is just opposite the station. Really loved the burgers here, we ordered the cheesy bacon and onion loaded fries to share and 'The Hustler' crumbed chicken burger, and the 'Some like it Hot' beef burger. The loaded fries were amazing, they were big and cheesy and everything loaded fries should be. The beef patty was cooked perfectly with just the right amount of chilli-kick to make sure that the full flavour of the meat was evident. My partner really enjoyed the crumbed chicken! Going to have to come back here to try the rest of the menu very soon.

Food ended up being over 2 hours late of estimated delivery time. After several calls to Burger Kitchen and Menulog on order status, no resolution. Burger Kitchen phone straight to mail box. No answer. No calls from them. Menulog stayed they couldn’t contact restaurant to see what the status of the order is or provide feedback. Eventually we drove to the restaurant where our $85 of food was sitting cold. They handed it over saying they have taken their phone off the hook and sorry it’s cold. <br/>Food was cold and gross. Parts of order missing. Burger Kitchen wouldn’t re cook. Menulog can’t confirm complaint, status or refund as they can’t get in contact with Burger Kitchen. Don’t take people’s orders if you can’t facilitate them or be contactable. <br/>Am left with the bill for cold gross food that’s not what we ordered anyway.

PROS<br/>Service friendly and professional. Veg Burgers deliciously evil and waffle fries are a fantastic merge of fries and hash browns. Came here on a Monday and was so happy to see that they do 2 for 1 burgers every Monday and Wednesday. The burgers were exactly what I had hoped for although the bun is a little too dense and thick for my liking. The patty was juicy and I really did enjoy my Mac N Cheese burger. They weren’t lying when they said that the fries were loaded!!! It was one of the most loaded fries that I have encountered and I loved how there were heaps of bacon in it. Overall, good experience and staff were also friendly 👌

Must say staff were lovely and attentive. Little bit disappointed in this burger joint, was hoping it would blow our socks off with all the photos and talk about this place.<br/>Their loaded chips are great!<br/>Burgers not so much?<br/>I ordered a burger with no bun, just wanted it to be wrapped in lettuce like a lettuce bun but they couldn’t do it, was able to only do like a deconstructed burger. It was okay, not a big deal but would have tasted great if it was wrapped in lettuce instead of my beef patties cut up like a salad.<br/>Would give this place a go again but not anytime soon. <br/>

After seeing they had a new menu launch, we had to come and see what it was all about. Burgers were large and tasty. Very saucy. The new waffle range was great, chopped waffles and cinnamon. Oh my!! And you can't pass their huge loaded waffle fries.

Burger kitchen from the moment you walk in, welcomes you with utmost gracious and courteous service, ensuring your burger experience is better than most. With ambience resembling a fun sort of vibe, we were very impressed with this restaurant from the outset.<br/><br/>Today we opted for a triple and pulled pork burger complimented with loaded fries and a Nutella milk shake. The burgers? WOW. Juicy, oozing with flavour, and meat that is so delicious and rich in taste. The bacon here is THE BEST BACON you will ever have in a burger tasting so fresh and full of succulent flavour. The beef here is also very generous in portion, whilst the pulled pork is perfectly cooked. These are definitely a favourite of ours, the burgers here are definitely a cut above the average.<br/><br/>The loaded fries and milkshake were also very tasty. The chips here are seasoned well and cooked with the perfect crunch to potato ratio whilst the milkshake tasted as good as Nutella can get. What is to note is that the bacon and cheese toppings were very fresh and tasty. The cheese here doesn't taste as processed as other establishments.<br/><br/>Overall a very satisfying meal and a restaurant we would recommend to all burger lovers! Went here a while ago to check them out. Great location opposite from the train station however the food was not great. My burger was extremely oily, the beef lacked flavour and the bacon was barely cooked. The menu is definitely creative although the quality just isn’t there yet. I felt sick for several hours after visiting :(

So good! The loaded waffle fries are literally heaven in your mouth. A great range of burgers, sides, shakes and desserts. Moonnee Ponds needed an awesome burger joint and BOOM Burger Kitchen has stood up to the plate!

My partner and I had the best experience at Burger Kitchen for his birthday lunch on Monday. We arrived at around 1pm - being the only guests in restaurant at that point, our food was served super quickly. I ordered the charcoal brioche chicken burger and my partner ordered the double beef patty burger, as well as loaded fries with mac and cheese to share. The burger was a little sweet for my taste but still really enjoyable (and decadent!). The fries were perfect and serving sizes were generous. As a bonus, one of the chefs brought us a complimentary doughnut waffle dessert which was a great surprise! Due to the 2 for 1 burger deal and loaded fries snack deal the entire meal for the two of us was only $26 - great value, especially considering neither of us needed to eat dinner that evening! We were really impressed with the friendly staff and excellent service. Will definitely be bringing friends/family here again in future!

Great burgers, generous portions so great value dor money. All beef patties are made in house & home made sauces are unique & v.tasty. Staff are attentive even when they were busy which was great.<br/>Accommodated the kids with a free sweet at the end of meal.<br/>Complimentary chilled water for all diners made it especially easy with a few little ones one the table.<br/>Sauces were encouraged to try even though we said we would pay the extra they did not charge.<br/>Pleasant experience but may require reservation during peak times as tables can fill quickly especially if you have more than 5 diners.<br/>Would definately recommend.

Finally tried this place after a long wait. The burgers looked great and the service was ok but the whole experience was killed by great wafts of cigarette smoke smell coming from the back of the restaurant. Disgusting. Obviously staff or someone are smoking at the back. Total put off. Left my burger and walked out. Awful.

As a vegetarian burger fan, I'm always looking for a place that does something a little different with their vegetarian options and Burger Kitchen's are incredible! The halloumi burger is insanely good and you can customise your burger with just about anything (the mac & cheese is excellent)<br/>Generous portions for the price of the burgers and fries too! Will definitely be back

Great tasting burgers! I got the Beef Mac N Cheese. It was deliciously cheesy, with a smoky barbecue sauce and lots of bacon. Heavy but surprisingly not dripping with oil.👌 I also had the cheesy bacon and onion loaded fries. The portion is huge and the toppings were very generous.

Burger Kitchen just celebrated its 1st birthday, and there are a few new menu items on offer. As with most burger joints, burgers can be pimped to your heart’s desire. There are shakes and loaded fries, and even better, loaded waffle fries, which are perfect for holding all those toppings on the way to your mouth.

Does what it says on the tin, Double Barrel my favourite, Mac & cheese loaded fries are the bomb...! Good customer service, what a burger joint should be, my go to for a cheat day.

Burger was tasty although the bun was not toasted at all which was was a really big let down. The hot and spicy loaded fries were great but not enough sauce for the amount of chips. Needed more.

Great food and milkshakes with friendly service. The onion rings were delicious and some of the burger flavours are really creative; I really enjoyed my mac 'n cheese. The decor is a little 'hard' and it's loud (understanding the tunes help the crew prepare the never ending list of orders for Uber Eats...). Well worth a visit.

I tried this place today as I have been meaning to pop in since they opened. The shop front is only rather small, but there is enough room to get a table.<br/>I tried to barrell Jr burger as I wanted an onion ring in mine. The flavour really worked well together especially the tomato chutney and bbq sauce. Live around the area but never really tried BK. Especially with so many other burger options around. But last night we took the plunge and I'm glad we did.<br/><br/>Staff greeted us straight away and made us feel welcome. Informed us there would be a wait and gave us some recommendations which was nice.<br/><br/>Started with the chips while we waited for burgers and I can safely say these are the "gimme" chips. Which is the.. gimme more! Great crunch and seasoning was so good. But the highlight was the sauce options. Smokey bbq and aioli was the standout. But maple mayo... damn. Gonna get that on my burger next time.<br/><br/>As for the burgers. If you love cheese and sauce, you'll love these burgers. Meats were cooked nicely. Bread was soft and sweet. But yeah the sauces and the perfectly melted cheese make the burgers.<br/><br/>Again. Glad we stopped by after having Pho across the road on Puckle and we will be back for sure.

Wasn't sure about this place due to lack of social media activity or hearing the recommendations from others but boy did this place do me a surprise. Mac and cheese loaded fries were a-heckin-mazing, as was the double barrel, and wait for it, a black maple switched chicken out for beef- was a huge highlight for me. Well done on this place, deserve more recognition than you presently have.

Burger Kitchen is a conveniently located burger joint, located just across from Moonee Ponds train station, with a focus on customisation when it comes to their burgers.

Can we have a minute and appreciate how great social media is and how much it’s done for food in the last 5 years or so?! There used to be a disconnect between the restaurant and the customer. The only way for us to be connected was through visiting, word of mouth and of course Urbanspoon reviews! Old school bloggers will know.<br/><br/>These days, we can follow new restaurants that hasn’t even opened yet, long-time establishments and they can tempt us with their goodies at a swipe of a thumb! With everyone constantly connected, we’re more closer to that burger or chicken wing than we ever thought. If you got burgers, post a shyte load of food pics online and you’re based in the West – expect a visit from me!<br/><br/>The awesome:<br/><br/>   - Meaty goodness: I’ve never had a burger with Chorizo before and seeing as everyone loves Chorizo.. why isn’t this a thing?! There’s something satisfying when you bite into a burger and hello, don’t mind if I do Mr. Chorizo. I do regret not getting an extra patty because I smashed this one down in record time.<br/>   - Beef mac n cheese: King shared similar sentiments. He mentioned the flavours of the burgers all shone with no particular ingredient taking over each other. He was disappointed the mac n cheese weren’t in patty form making the burger experience much more authentic (messier).<br/><br/>The not-so-awesome:<br/><br/>   - Waffle fries: I wanted to like this a lot more than I thought I would. The waffles were salty by themselves and needed a decent smidgen of tomato sauce to be enjoyable. Without tomato sauce, I can’t see myself having more than 2-3 pieces. I’m beginning to think I’m not a loaded fries type-a-guy. I would have them again unloaded, though.<br/>   - Service: Standoffish at the start and I wasn’t getting good vibes at the start but then nothing but smiles towards the end.

I live around the corner from this place and have walked passed it countless time. I finally decided on the weekend to give it a try. There's something a little amiss about the decor, but then again that's not really why you go to a burger joint. The burgers themselves were actually quite nice. Thin patties which I'm a fun of, and the special sauce was delicious. We also tried the waffle fries which were really crispy and well seasoned. I was pleasantly surprised!

Just not worth it. For $15 I ordered Haloumi for you and got two tiny thin slices of halloumi (not the thick cut you'd expect for a burger replacement), no visible pumpkin and some sliced button mushrooms with flecks of red which could have been capsicum. I mainly just tasted bread and aioli. For $6 we got 7.5 waffle fries. We ordered two sauces, BBQ & Mayo. The little sauce tub for the BBQ was half full and the mayo was maybe a quarter - it literally looked like 2 teaspoons worth. For 80c each. Plus don't bother trying them on any delivery platform - we watched the food sit in their restaurant for 20 mins on the Ubereats App and predictably it was just barely above room temperature by the time we got it. Just disappointing all round.

[EDIT: my burger definitely didnt look as big and juicy as the images others have submitted, so maybe uber eats orders aren't given as much care/priority]. Ordered 'give me cheese'. Fairly average. Sort of like any standard quick burger you might make at home. The bun is probably the biggest weakness, it was very 'bready' which I know sounds silly but it was dense and flavourless. Disappointing when we come to expect more from bread for our burgers these days. The meat patty was also very thin. Tomato sauce tasted like it was straight out of a fountain squeeze bottle. The pickles and onion were nice though. There are definitely better options in the area.

We were invited to check out burger kitchens new and improved menu, which allows you to either customise your own burger or choose from one of their classic or gourmet burgers. We went for two of their gourmet burgers: the b.k special and the hustler and teamed them up with the waffle fries and onion rings. Both burgers had awesome flavors and the ingredients were perfectly balanced in quantities so that nothing over powered the rest. We also shared the cool chocolate mint chip shake, it was a bit too minty and tasted a bit like tooth paste but looked great and next time we'd opt for a different flavour!

We ordered from here for delivery. Although we live 10 minutes away, it took an hour and 25 minutes (which was 30 minutes more than their estimated delivery time) to get to us. The food was completely cold. Burger was quite tasty even while cold, until I found a big hair in it. Decided to try and stick it out with my cold fries until I also found a hair in those as well 😅 Probably not the best option for delivery, I'm sure their burgers taste nice while fresh but that was a pretty awful experience.

Update: I have returned and there have been some very solid improvements since my last visit so I've adjusted my rating accordingly. Especially the bacon portioning.<br/><br/>Previous: 3/5 Not terrible. Not amazing. Somewhere in between. Ended up with the "Cheese And Bacon Beast" with a side of Mac And Cheese Loaded Fries. I did ask for waffle loaded fries but I was already eating them before I realised my order was wrong and didn't particularly want to wait another 20 odd minutes on them to be replaced.<br/><br/>The burger itself was pretty alright. The brioche was nice and the sauce ratio was good. Although I was expecting a lot more bacon and felt a little misled by the description of the burger which is "Fresh beef patty, oozing American cheese, crispy bacon, more cheese, more bacon, ketchup and mayonnaise"... I was under the assumption there would be a good deal of bacon, but not really.<br/><br/>The loaded waf.. I mean mac and cheese fries were not bad either. Prices were pretty spot on for what you get. I didn't feel ripped off... Except the bacon. I'd still return for another go.

Good burgers! Have only had takeaway from here, but we keep going back for more. Usually have the Give Me Cheese, which is delish, paired with waffle fries. Good selection of burgers and they do Uber Eats which is a bonus.

I'd love to know how Burger Kitchen think it's okay to package chips with bare unwashed hands that have just been wiped on a cashiers pants.

Burger Kitchen In Moonee Ponds, very wide range of burgers and add ons, and also great value for money. I had the Beef & Mac Cheese with an added potato rosti. These guys make their meat patties in store and the owners are friendly. The burger was juicy, flavoursome and we'll put together. Thanks for having us! 😜

This place is great for convenience as it is right across from Moonee Ponds Station, but let's get to the real reason you're reading this - to see if it's worth going for a burger here 😂 Used a Groupon here (burger, chips and drink for $9) and got the Top Chick burger with waffle fries. The brioche bun was toasted perfectly to my liking, not overly done but not under done either and the ratio of chicken to bun and condiments were spot on. The waffle fries - crispy outside, fluffy inside, what you ideally want and paired with tomato and chilli sauce of course made it that little bit better. Very chill/fresh decor here and would be a good spot for a quick fix or on the run.

The burgers here are delicious and the onion rings are the best I have ever had. <br/><br/>Service here is mediocre. The last time I went there I had to repeat my name three times to place my order because of the loud music. I am all for ambience but the music was just too much even for my take-away order.

Service was very hit and miss.  Staff seemed to prefer to fiddle with milkshakes that weren't even destined for anyone rather than serve waiting customers.  Once the food arrived, the burgers were generous, but excessively salty.  Fries and onion rings were covered in dirty oil.  I'm not sure that the kitchen is as clean as it should be.  Lots of staff, seemingly directionless.  I don't think I will be back.

Melbourne has a huge number of burger places to choose from so it has to be great for me to come back. The people behind the counter were nice but unfortunately our burgers were overcooked and dry and the chips were below average. There wasn't many people inside, yet it took some time for the food to make it's way to our table. We saw a lot of Uber Eat pick ups which maybe take priority. If you are after burgers in Moonee Ponds the New York minute is much better. Life's too short for average burgers.

The burger of choice was the ‘BK Special’ crafted of beef, chicken, crispy bacon, melted cheese, crispy chips, tomato, lettuce, onion, BBQ & aioli sauce. Each try to bring something different to the table, be it a quirky theme or a unique menu option to stand out from the crowd.  Burger Kitchen located across the road from Moonee Ponds station, is no exception to the rule. Here it’s all about creating your own customised burger, then teaming it up with a side of their signature waffle fries. Pick everything from the type of bread (brioche or sourdough), meat (beef or chicken) and a variety of fillings from their extensive list, which includes a few fancier options like onion rings, mac n cheese and even a potato rosti.

This place just opened up right outside of Moonee Ponds station and here its popular on a Thursday lunchtime. The bathrooms are out the back and down some steps (watch your step). A watch your step sign would be a good idea as I nearly tripped. Also another good idea is to have a bathroom sign on the back wall where the sign is so that people know. I nearly thought that there was not a bathroom in sight.

Good burgers, came on a Groupon which was great value. The beef Mac n cheese was a densely packed burger and I almost couldnt finish it, the patty wasn't very juicy but the bbq sauce made up for it. Plenty of tempting choices. Waffle fries were crispy and delicious. Friendly staff.

Burger Kitchen is a gourmet burger restaurant and cafe located in the northern suburbs, with easy access to trains, trams and car parking. I recently had the chance to visit this cool venue at a “foodie” event organised by Taking A Bite. For a few hours, we had free reign of the entire venue, enabling us to get a personal feel for its vibe and experience first-hand the burgers, fries and drinks that make this place popular.

Great burgers but waited 50 minutes for take away.  Lots of staff working there so not sure why it took so long, seemed unorganised.  Chips were cold, so did not eat the chips.  Luckily it was a voucher so did not pay full price.  Okay if you're happy to wait.

Came here on the voucher, tasty burger ,waffle fries are must try, attentive staffs so pretty happy with the experience. Waffle fries came without sauce so if you like a dipping sauce, make sure you ask for some. will be back soon.

While it’s not a rarity that you’d come across burger joints that have a menu allowing you to customise your ideal burger to your hearts’ content, as well as a having plethora of choices to accomodate different dietary requirements, most don’t usually execute well on their core ingredients. On this occasion, we were pleasantly surprised at how well all the components of our burger worked together at Burger Kitchen.Burger Kitchen definitely gives more established burger joints a great run for their money, and with such a solid offering and abilities to customise, I will definitely bring others back for more!

went to check out the newly opened BURGER KITCHEN in mooney ponds , I’ve been passing in front of it many times as being just down my road 😬 but never really knew if it could be one of interest … but thanks to @takingabite who organised a foodie event there ,. i Now know that they do awesome burgers and i will decently be back soon for more 😋

Whenever a new restaurant opens up, we like to pop in and give them a go. Burgers are so popular right now, especially with all the bells and whistles. Having brought greedy munchkins along with me, they opted for massive burgers that they couldn't finish.....their burgers were huge, and the kids said they were "ok". I wasn't rapt in my burger though.....being vegetarian when I order a veggie burger, the last thing I want to taste is beef fat. Obviously wherever the potato rosti (veggie patty) is cooked, there is residual beef fat/animal fat.....needless to say I wasn't very happy at all......

I love a good burger. Whilst it was relatively empty, these guys were busy with all their takeaway and ubereats orders. Had the mac and cheese burger which was ok. Definitely not the best mac and cheese burger I've had. The chips were scrumptious though!

Burger Kitchen offers a wide variety of delicious burgers that caters to most dietary requirements. The speedy service and incredibly nice staff make it hard to dislike.<br/>It's tricky to describe the waffle chips, they're like the descendants of hash-browns and fries, a mouthwatering hybrid that goes brilliantly with the complimentary aioli (or whichever white sauce is usually served with this dish).

Came here on a voucher and thought it was great! Friendly staff and great food! We noticed they were getting slammed with Uber eats orders! Would definitely go back for burgers in the area. The marinated chicken burger was a nice change from the usual fried chicken burgers you often find.

Delicious home-made burgers! I have eaten twice here now and the service has been attentive and friendly. The chips are crispy and we were given free sauces which was lovely and they were all delicious.

Went for the first time today with my mum and sister. Everything was homemade. Cute seating place, nice atmosphere. Ordered the Top Chick, BK special, Beef Mac n Cheese, Waffle fries and Mac n Cheese Loaded Fries. Everything was amazing especially the sauces but because of low staffing orders came out very slowly. The manager was so friendly and remorseful about the wait and refunded the whole meal without a comment from anyone. And also provided complimentary fries and onion rings.

Just popped in here on the way home to get some chips. I have to say, hands down some of the best freaking chips Ive ever had. Herb and garlic salt, some crazy dreamy batter and what looks like thousand island dressing or something? I dont even know what it was but it was amazing! I will definitely be back for the burgers. Great service too! Friendly and fast.

Loved it! <br/>only been going for 6 weeks and definitely one of the better burger places. As a vegetarian i love that there is more then one option and everything was so filling. Service was perfect and I'm keen to go back

I noticed this place a few weeks back and decided to give it a go with my wife. Overall the service was good, the burgers were nice and the chips were excellent. The atmosphere however is a bit dark and gloomy, but not a bad experience.

Been here a couple of times now and the cheese burgers don't disappoint. The chips are fantastic perfectly crisp & salted. The atmosphere is lacking but the burger makes up for it.

When I saw this restaurant open up, I was very hopeful that Moonee Ponds was gaining a burger restaurant to compete with Grill'd down on Puckle Street.<br/><br/>However, I must agree with other reviewers - This place needs work.<br/><br/>Major drawbacks: Lack of atmosphere in the restaurant, "sad looking" burgers without enough sauce and paper thin slices of tomato.<br/><br/>Best bits: The best part of the meal was undoubtedly the chips. Thick-cut with a very tasty salt and dipping sauce.<br/><br/>There's one other thing we noticed that needs to be mentioned. My girlfriend saw a staff member handle raw bacon and (without changing gloves or washing), then handle raw onion. IMHO: This is a food safety no-no.

Not a bad burger but needs a little more flavour and pink to the patties. I have a feeling they are still finding thier feet so give em a go. Staff are friendly enough and seem busy but as other reviews have said it would be nice to be acknowledged.

Best burgers at burger kitchen in mooney ponds my favourite is a meaty goodness and a double barrel they are very delicious I recommend this place for a good night out

Nice place it was fantastic had a great time , burgers are great very tasty and great value for money, service was fantastic l will definitely be back . Highly recommend.

Needs a bit more "wow factor" to get me to return. Burger was tasty but a bit basic. Chips were very simple, expected more from loaded fries. The staff were busy but it would be nice to have some acknowledgement.

Really nice place in Moonee Ponds. Very close to the train station so that is handy. I got the double barrel and its a big burger. Very good value. The meat was cooked right. Nice and Juicy. Also the staff were really nice and friendly.<br/><br/>They have coke in a glass which is always a winner. Check them out if your in the area

Just opened so still finder their feet. The burgers were ok, perhaps needed more sauce. The chips were great! Staff were very busy during peak time but service was good. The menu is ok but could benefit with a few more options. Worth a try and hopefully they continue to improve.
