One of the best pasta’s I’ve had in a while. Linguine cooked to perfection. Aglio olio had such a clean authentic taste. Generous portions as well! Thanks for the awesome food!

This place is a hidden gem! Absolutely beautiful pasta. Authentic flavours & very, very generous portions. It’s a cozy little restaurant run by a very beautiful family. We ordered the lasagne - a big must! The seafood risotto is amazing with a generous serving of seafood & the chicken mushroom pasta was also delicious! Simple, tasty, traditional and genuine Italian home-style cooking in a no thrills, unpretentious environment. Judging by the number of diners on a Thursday night, this place is a firm favourite with the locals in Moonee Ponds. I highly recommend.

This place is an absolute GEM! I have been coming to Giuseppes for the last 6 months, and I must say as an Italian, this rivals my mums and nonna’s pasta, the friendliness and ambience is also amazing, as a very friendly and amicable family run business. If youve never been here before do yourself a favour and give it a crack. The lasagne and gnocchi is an absolute 10/10!!

Best little Italian restaurant. It's run by a wonderful family. Guiseppes absolutely exceeded my expectations and my family. We all shared a veggie risotto, seafood risotto, Morton Bay bug linguine and a squid ink pasta. For Entree we got garlic bread and bruschetta. All dishes were booked to perfection, you can really tell the food was made traditionally and with fresh ingredients.

Eating here is like eating at your long lost Italian Auntie's house that you never knew you had. Delish and homely. Home videos of holidays in Italy to boot!

We tried the risotto (salmon and squid ink) and they were both very delicious. You don’t get bored of the taste half way through which is awesome! Service wise - very friendly. You can tell they smile from the bottom of their heart. Feels like having a hearty meal at your grandma’s place! The only downside is that this attracts many customers and hence long wait time. But it is definitely worth the wait!

My family really enjoyed our meal here, and will be back. Friendly service, generous portion sizes and great food.

Very popular, warm and welcoming, family run place. Not sure how long this restaurant has been around but I reckon at least 25 years. We had bruschetta, fettuccini avocado and chicken, fettuccini Bolognese, avocado and chicken gnocchi as well as a beer, sunkist and Pepsi max. All excellent. On the more expensive side but it’s worth it.

This place has such a warm family restaurant vibe and the pasta is amazing. I felt a bit bad for the one waitress that had to serve an entire packed restaurant on a Saturday night, but even though it took a bit of time to get our order in, the food came out in a matter of minutes and, as I said, it was amazing. Will definetly be going back. Great little find hidden away in Moonee Ponds.

I have to say, I feel very lucky to have found this incredible gem right near my home. <br/>I’ve been fortunate enough to have an amazing nonna who makes a magnificent pasta and I can appreciate good itialian pasta for what it is... this place is really just like nonnas!! The staff are friendly, you know the quality of the ingredients are top notch. <br/>The flavours of the pasta sauces are insane. <br/>My fave Pollo fungi. <br/>Oh and the garlic bread oh lord where do I even start with that. AMAZING. <br/>Thank you to the amazing staff for the amazing food every time.

Very large servings (even the entree), however found the meal to be very high in salt, even as someone who likes their meals well salted....

I was heading to another restaurant and stumbled across this gem. I was excited and intrigued by the old decor and amount of older European customers. I ordered a basic spaghetti and it was great. Warm, tasty and authentic. This business has been around for around 30 years and seems like it would taste the same as the first day it opened. Will come back again!

Don’t think, just eat. And eat and eat and eat. And make sure you get a house wine. If you’re not working (or you hate your co-workers) try the olive oil and garlic spaghetti. Hoooooboy. You won’t get a cold for a solid year, and vampires will steer well clear of you, but it’ll be worth it. So good!!

Staff were super friendly and so were the owners. The food was quite fresh and delicious. Definitely would recommend this to others. Genuine Italian food with a cute atmosphere.

Been going here for last five years and not once had a bad meal. Friendliest family service around and traditional home style cooking always consistent. Awesome place, eat in or quality take away. Highly recommend

Tried out this place last night. We arrived at 730pm, had our order taken, and received our bruschetta within 15 minutes. It was tasty! But that's pretty much where the positives stop with this place. <br/>After receiving our entree, we waited 1 HOUR AND 15 MINUTES for our pasta mains! By this it was almost 9pm and we were starving. The wait wouldn't have been so bad if the pasta had been good.. but it definitely wasn't. <br/>I ordered the Gnocchi with Napoli/Vego sauce- the gnocchi was straight from a packet and the sauce was SO salty it was almost inedible. It was really disappointing considering the amount of time we had to wait, without so much as an apology or an acknowledgment from the kitchen... who were well aware of how long a few tables had been waiting. <br/>I have given a 2 as my rating- 1 for the bruschetta, and 1 for the lovely waitress. <br/>Would not recommend and will not be returning.

Insanely good. Would eat here every night if calories and money weren't an issue. Wine list is simple but solid. Very early 90s vibe but the food and service are so bloody good. I don't want anyone else to find about this place but the owners deserve every success!

I have been going to Guiseppes's since the '90s.   A family run business, retaining the freshness and quality of their food. The friendly customer service, creates a relaxed atmosphere, and the location of the restaurant is ideal.

Service was fast and friendly 4/5. Red wine was average 2/5, Pollo e Fungini w fetecini 4/5. The location is very convenient to Puckle St 5/5

Came here for a business lunch with mates and was impressed by the quality of the homemade pasta and sauce is cooked on the spot and not pre-made.<br/>Waitress was very friendly and owners were very welcoming.<br/>Food is well priced and portions are great.<br/>Will definitely be coming back!

This place was a delicious little find. Got some vouchers as a Christmas gift. I was impressed with it all from the young waitress who was very friendly to the lone chef like a mix master on the stove top with things flying everywhere. Reasonably priced, will certainly be back<br/>

Excellent food, nice warm welcome from the family who run the business. Only thing lacking in this Resturant is a wider drinks menu - but that is hardly something to complain about when the good is so delicious!

Food and service are always fantastic!. We have been going to Giuseppe's for years and enjoyed it every single time. We were there again last night and as always the food was absolutely delicious. Four of us went and each ordered something different and all of us loved the flavours of our chosen meals. <br/><br/>The service was and always is great and it makes it feel like home. It is very casual and unpretentious, which makes it a fantastic restaurant to just simply drop into for a good meal. <br/><br/>Every time we walk out we have had a great meal and a lovely night.

Delicious delicous delicous! Asked the beautiful waiter for a pasta that wasn't on the menu and Giuseppe was more than happy to make it! And it was fantastic. This place is the hidden gem of moonee ponds! The only let down was no BYOB bit of a shame. Highly recommend to all. 33/40 cheers Travis.

AMAZING. This is an amazing restaurant, best people and the best pasta I have ever had! They also make so many other delicious dishes. If you do not like their food than you must not have taste buds!

This is a cute family run restaurant in moonee pond. Service was lovley and food was ok and big but overall i would not have the desire to come back here so soon. We found the meals ok nothing special and as a family run italian restaraunt why they serve salad and chips with everything they should consider somehin more italian. 6:/10 experience but not one i would be raving to my friends about sorry

Had lunch there today and took our 14month old son with us. The waitress couldn't do enough for us and the pasta was the best I've had from around the area. Will be back again for sure.

5 out of 6 of our order were all in the salty side (although still edible), but it took them too long to bring the food out. Desert was quite nice though, but still a bit slow for my liking. Staff were friendly. I wish they serve pizza...

Nice night. Sat outside on a warm night. Lovely service. Food was tasty. I had the marinara which was nice but not the best i'd had but still good. Over-all a nice casual meal.

Great Pasta. Was introduced to this place 7 years ago when I first moved to Melbourne and still love it. The service is friendly and food is great. Pasta is our favourite and is reasonably priced. Nice and cosy, especially in winter next to the fire.

Lovely!. Went here on a date with my partner and absolutely loved it! Great garlic bread, EXCELLENT service, great little family-owned and run business. Marina was fantastic, with fresh seafood and superb sauce and the lasagne... oh my Gosh the lasagne...

Perfect pasta. Can't beat this place....it's one of my new favourites after Fletcher's pasta bar closed down in Essendon. Can't go past the pasta with meat sauce and salami, or carbonara!

Home style food.. What a great local restaurant this place is. The food is always of a high standard and run by the same friendly family for years. It just perfect for a quick bowl of pasta or or a more leisurely meal with a glass of wine or two and it will not break the bank!

Great food. Been coming to Giuseppe's for years. Always good food; good service and quick. Pasta is great as are the veal dishes. Definitely recommend it.

My friends have been going there for 12 years... Enough said... I loved it!!!
