A huge shout out to Jack and the staff at the Waterloo Cup Hotel for supporting our local fundraiser on the weekend - your donations were much appreciated and they fetched great donations in our silent auctions.
All locals should support this great pub - great food & great service!
Thanks again.
Lovely food and great place as it has a great kids play area as well
Build your own burger night is fantastic! And the burgers are huge
Great service and a play area for the kids =winning
Service was exceptional!! Would definately go back.
Went to the Bar Area at the Hotel today for a counter meal and what a deal we got $12 for a Parma and Pot , not only was the parma delicious it cane with chips and salad and was large! Beer was ice cold and I can’t vouch for any other meal but easily a 4.5/5 for friendly service , cleanliness, GREAT value for money and taste . Plus the place was empty in bar so had it to ourselves . Would recommend for the Monday-Friday bar special $12 pot and Parma !!
A wonderful pub meal. Thursday night is $10 steak night and we were pleasantly surprised at the value and quality. Staff were great and our youngest enjoyed the play area.
Great lunch. We enjoyed a lovely lunch in the bistro, I had an open Souvalaki and my friend enjoyed a Parma. Service was swift and friendly, food generous and coffee afterwards was superb. A great spot to unwind anytime of the day and day of the week.
The food was nice and the staff are lovely. The seniors discounts are exceptional and reasonably priced. Enjoyed this local a lot. Would come here again, very welcoming and happy environment.
Great value meal. Awesome Parma for under $10 - can't complain about that. So hard to get a good parma these days, but these guys hit the mark.
The Waterloo was my first pub. Not the first pub I ever went into, but the first pub I considered “mine”, My local, my personal version of Cheers. Wednesday nights at the Waterloo when I was 18 were everything I could have wanted. The beers were cheap, there was a Daytona machine in the corner and plenty of pool tables – sure it was dirty, but every strip of masking tape on that ratty old couch just added character. Then the renovations came, all the dank was stripped away, the pub had a different vibe and we moved on. We discovered Jimmy Rowes and the rest is history. Not long after starting Parma Daze we were driving past The Waterloo on the way to a different attempt (from memory I think it was The Doot , back in 2010).
