I love this cheesecake shop! Staff are fantastic and helpful the cake I had was delicious. I am addicted to the black Forest cake and I think this store was the best one I purchased. I have tried different stores but this was the best by far totally worth 5 stars. Also was able to accommodate my vegan friend and answer any of her questions easily as the counter staff member was very knowledgeable. Amazing

THE WORST CHEESECAKE SHOP IN MELBOURNE. Management are extremely rude, unprofessional, unreasonable and unapproachable. We bought a few different cakes for a function at work and both were inedible. When we returned the cakes, management refused to accept that there was anything wrong with them and would neither provide a refund nor replacement. To the management: If you are reading this, you should be ashamed of yourselves for taking advantage of hard-working customers and ripping them off. To all prospective customers: Please think twice before you buy anything from this shop and also be aware that many of their reviews are fake and have been posted by their staff, friends and family members overseas. UPDATE. No, I have not got the wrong Cheesecake shop. Your shop is located on PascoeVale road, Moonee Ponds. There is no need to contact you for assistance, as you already refused to provide us with any assistance when we brought the cakes back to your store, which was unacceptable. It's also very interesting to see that ever since I left my review, numerous FAKE Reviews have been posted by your friends and family members OVERSEAS. Hopefully, customers will be able to see that many of your so-called positive reviews, are in fact FAKE.

One of the best custom cake service in Melbourne.... we live in Eastern suburb but chose them over many places as they were very professional, quick and the cake was delicious. Recommend them highly.

I bought half a hazelnut cake. After the first bite, regretted not getting the whole cake 😆 The taste was absolutely amazing. Gorgeous design. The staff were helpful and professional. Highly recommend this shop. Thank you guys 👍

THE BEST CHEESECAKE SHOP IN MELBOURNE. Management are extremely helpful, professional, reasonable and approachable. We bought a few different cakes for a function at work and all were amazing. everyone at work was so impressed with the quality of the cakes. we got black forest torte which was amazing, a baked cheesecake, and a mudcake. all were so yummy. great product and consistent service. helpful staff. ii always enjoys going to the cheesecake shop in moonee ponds and it always smells so nice there especially since they are baking there every day. our family favorite is the strawberry sundae cheesecake and yesterday at my last visit i tried their new salted caramel baked cheesecake and it tasted like heaven. must try

best cakes. a always go there for fresh birthday cakes and never been disappointed. staff behaviour is so nice and they are very patient with customer's need.

It was the cheesecake shop again today for a work birthday but a carrot cake this time rather than their namesake. I’m a big fan of cream cheese icing so this was a delicious cake for me.

We ordered our sons first birthday cake from here as they are in the Entertainment Book. We got a rainbow cake for under $50. The taste of the cake was fantastic. They added his name for free and the cake had yummy stars on it. Highly recommend this store for a tasty and affordable birthday cake. Will return.

YUK, YUK!!!  I don't often buy cakes but ran out of time unfortunately, so tried the belgian double choc mud cake from the cheesecake shop in Moonee Ponds, never again as a couple of my guests found not one but three hairs in their cake (very embarrassing ) the store would not refund my money as I didn't bring the cake back and they could only offer me  a $10 gift voucher even though I had a receipt and a picture of the hair in cake, not very good customer service. Will not be returning  here. YUK!

Not having had many cheesecakes in the past my experience to compare against is limited but I am a fan of this newly found genre. We had to order online being the only way that you can buy multiple slices because in shop you can only buy larger portions unless it's the select cake of the week that they sell by the single which ruined my cheat meal plans a month or so ago.<br/><br/>Not a fan of the American when compared to a NYC cheesecake. Caramel was good as was the marbled and French vanilla. They were all quite nice but nothing orgasmic sadly. The hunt for perfection continues...<br/>Betty Joy Ana Maree Dowsett

I've never had a bad cake from The Cheesecake Shop. The quality and presentation is always very good and although the price point has noticeably risen over the last 5 years, it still represents value, especially if you use an entertainment book voucher (25% off up to $10). It's my go-to for a special occasion cake...because I can never be bothered to make my own ☺

I was so happy with how my custom cake turned out! I showed the employees a photo of the cake I wanted and they went above and beyond to make what I wanted. They even went out of their way to purchase flowers, chocolates and macaroons for decoration! The cake it's self was a chocolate gluten free cake. Everyone at the party absolutely loved the taste of the cake and couldn't even tell it was gluten free! The customer service was great, they were very helpful. I couldn't have asked for a better cake!

Kinda forgot about them after that.. perhaps cos - since they've got big - have sorta made it a habit of buying the boys a Birthday cake from BRUNETTI in Carlton - before this, when they were little, it was usually always an Ice-cream cake from DAIRY BELL in Bundoora. <br/><br/>Anyway, it's a compact little shop - super clean - good display inside a '4 foot' high, shop width, refrigerated, sparkling glass counter - lots of things looked freshly made and pretty scrumptious...<br/><br/>We decided on a large 'Strawberry Fields' Gateaux - Layers of soft light Vanilla Sponge - spread with Strawberry Jam and Fresh Cream - sides spread with Fresh Cream and Dark Chocolate Shards - topped with piped Fresh Cream, halved quality Strawberries and Dark Chocolate Shavings..<br/><br/>It was super fresh, simple, great combo of flavours and textures - strawberries, cream, vanilla, cake, chocolate - very generous with the strawberries, not overly sweet, just delicious.... and it met the brief brilliantly..!!! <br/><br/>YES, SHE LOVED IT.. and she can see.. and taste.. a bit..!!<br/><br/>And a good price - just a little over $30 [$30.95 to be exact] - very reasonable for a Birthday Cake which will definitely cut into 12 wedges, and each with it's own strawberry... alas, we're just little piglets...<br/><br/>Look, if on the next occasion, when I'm kinda stuck.. or maybe not so stuck.. I won't hesitate to get another of these cakes.. actually, I can sorta sense a craving 'coming on'.. wonder if there's one out here, near me....??<br/><br/>Hey.. seriously, it was really 'scrummy'...!!! Horrible Pavlova. I purchased a Pavlova on Chrismas Day that was stale and tasted awful. I have never had this experience with any other Cheesecake Shop. When I called the Moonee Ponds store to complain I was told it was impossible that could have happened, try arguing with our Chrismas guests. Awful never going back!
