Review Noodle Box - Moonee Ponds

Fast service, Okay taste! But the sauces definitely need improvements to enhance the taste and bring out the beautiful oriental flavor. I have eaten more than once from there and I find it quite watery.

Located in Vibrant Puckle Street , Noodle Box offers a variety of Deliciously made Asian Food to go or Take Away. They also have Combos on offer in their Menu. Fast and Friendly Service.

Staff are nice, the noodles taste ordinary and over priced.

Pretty decent feed. It was busy on a Saturday night. Nothing special but will hit the spot. We ordered the hot and spicy aswell as the combination. The hot and spicy was the superior of the two. Great service.

I’m shocked by how a chain take-away place can make such amazing and fresh tasting food I’ve tried other Noodle Boxes and they’ve all been just as you expect; ‘meh, it’s cheap noodles’. This particular Noodle Box however, is so good that last time I was there I had to wait about half an hour which I was not even the slightest bit upset about, given the quality of food. I’m usually quite impatient when it comes to food (takeaway in particular) so for me to be happy to wait meant something. The people working there were really nice and were also really apologetic about the wait even though they looked to be extremely busy and had forewarned me when I ordered

Best in the business! Portion ratio is perfect, taste and flavour of food is amazing. Definitely going to be a regular here

I ordered the hot and spicy with mixed seafood, chicken, meat and vegetables. The picture showing the dish in the store showed many green and other vegetables . I was very disappointed as all i got as shown in the picture was a alot of just noodles with 1 green vegetable and minimal small other pieces of vegetables and meat so i feel all i paid for was the noodles. I went onto the website and in the contact us section sent an email with my concern and so far have not been replied to hence why i decided to do the review. I would not recommend

Staff are really friendly, service is good, food is yum and well priced. Our favourite takeaway in the area.

Food is tasty and full of flavour - only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because their prices are a bit expensive compared to other Asian joints that have better food quality and serving portions. They do their food pretty quickly though and always freshly cooked.

Noodle Box Moonee Ponds has a great Menu, Noodle meals are full of flavour and staff are friendly, my favorite is the Seafood Mee Goreng with Honey Soy sauce. Delicious! Tried noodles elsewhere but just wasn’t the same. I recommend Noodle Box Moonee Ponds to all my friends

Always reliable because whenever other things are closed, I find the noodle box still trading, especially in this recent Christmas and new year period. Win! My go to is the satay chicken noodles which has some great flavour (not the thick satay sauce I’m used to but still tasty). I love how they use chicken breast in their dishes though and nice thin pieces too.

I was lured in by Noodle Box's new addition to the entertainment book: buy one regular box, get one free. I ordered Singapore noodles and char kway teow. It was barely ok. Zero wok hei which is the best but about wok-cooked noodles. On the plus side, the noodles weren't oily. But the flavours were very muted, the mix-in ingredients vs noodle ratio was 90% noodles and to be honest the char kway teow offers absolutely no resemblance to the real thing. There are more vouchers in the book for this franchise but they will remain unused.

ordered using uber eats, noted in comments box not to include cashews, due to an allergy. just had a delight of finding a cashew - while eating.

I had Noodle BOX during their initial stages in Ballarat 2007 , they had fixed menu and quantity was expensive but worth the consistency.I was taken by a friend whom I met in the long Footy weekend.

They had good concept of food and customization options but the quality is a degrade.I visited here recently for the standard Singapore noodles and their entree.

Wasted 17 Dollars.. Did not expect the degrade in quality and rudeness to the customer by the chef and the staff..

Just visit and decide to order.. Moone Ponds has no proper Asian diner.. Supermarkets and salad shops are
much better...

Noodle Box losts its passion for their innovation and their presentation.

I am Highly Dissapointed...

We've been going to the same noodle shop for the last two years. The other night for whatever reason they were closed so we decided to go to Noodle Box in Moonee Ponds. What a big mistake! Either my taste has become more refined or these guys have really gone down hill. We ordered three different meals: Mongolian Beef, Black Bean and Combination Noodles. The Mongolian Beef and the Black Bean tasted exactly the same. They used some horrible sweet sauce with tiny bits of beef. I have a two year old and a four year old who will eat whatever you put in front of them but they couldn't stomach that crap. Where do I begin with the Combination Noodles. I could not believe my eyes when I got home and opened the box. I expected to see a mixture of noodles. pork, chicken, beef and prawn in oyster sauce as the menu stated. What I got was boiled noodles with small bits of chicken and not one drop of sauce. I'm not exaggerating, no sauce at all.

I never take the time to write reviews on anything but I was disgusted at how little respect these people have for paying customers.

Never again Noodle Box!

I got delivery and I was not impressed with the quality of my noodles, I could of made better ones at home. Not worth my money at all. The only thing good were the dim sums.

Not happy with the quality found a hair in my noodles and the delivery time took ages, even I could have made better ones at home don't waste your money

Noodle in a box Mooney Ponds is a great joint to eat anytime, late lunch or early dinner. Fresh produce (you have all the ingredients they use cooking at the counter, already chopped and on view), fast cooking, very tasty food and a very large menu will keep you belly satisfied.

I had the Mongolian Beef and it was very very tasty, the noodles perfectly al dente, packed with flavour, and the small size was enough portion for me. I really enjoyed it. However, the meat wasn't tender at all, and the box was mostly noodles but I paid 10 bucks for it, which is a bit pricey for the sort of of food you get.

Service was fast. They attend a big number of people in little time. The staff were a bit matter of fact.

Average noodles for high prices. The food tastes fake and looks as much as well. Much better off going to noodle hut around the corner.

Noodle Box on Puckle Street tends to be really busy, but the service is nice and quick and of course the build your own touch screen is awesome as it makes ordering the food so much fun. The noodles and rice is always full of flavour and so tasty. Definitely would come back here.

I love the make your own option. It is good value and you get to eat exactly want and avoid anything you can't.
When we order a box we tend to share it as it is a lot of noodles for one person. I end up getting so full!

We had Japanese crispy chicken and kweetiauw.. Love it & delicious! Definitely coming back

Cheap & cheerful. You can always get consistently good food & quick service from Noodle Box

Used to be better. Used to come here very very often all though lately I can't seem to like the taste anymore, there's a change in ingredients and less meat more veggies ever since new ppl started working here, do not go here anymore and find it hard to find a good noodle dish replacement

The best Noodle Box out there. Perfect noodles every time (I always get black bean but have tried curry before). Only one I know that has a rewards card and have sometimes just even given free food because they can. Best staff. Best food. Get on it!!

Some very good choices, plenty of food - even in the small box. Love the dragon wings and satay chicken in particular! Only 'bad' thing is the price, in my opinion some items are a bit expensive.
Gerard
Overpriced. Seafood laksa had one prawn and very little of any other seafood. Fried rice was also overpriced and bland.

Quick Fresh They make to order Nice meals for takeaway

Nice. Want a quick something for lunch or dinner and feel like chinese food? this is the place to be. the fried/ crumbed squid starter is amazing. make your own box and you'll get it within minutes :)
