Such a good find. Excellent tumeric lates, coffees and wine! I recommend the noodle dish for a pick me up, and with such excellent staff you can't walk out without feeling amazing.
We have dined out at Chameleon Junction a number of times - breakfast,brunch,lunch, afternoon tea and dinner! What can I say? I love it that the venue changes ( ie the Chameleon) to the time of day & that I can actually get coffee and cake at the proper time - 4.30 - when most other places are closed. The food is so tasty and really interesting. I loved the breakfast bowl - set me up for a whole day! I love how the restaurant has different options for seating, and the friendly staff. For me, it's always about good overall experience as well as good food....

It just keeps getting better. They have limited vegan menu but the vegan dishes they do offer are totally delicious .

A great menu! Such a great addition to Moorabbin. Coffee excellent, service excellent and the steak on Monday Steak Night was really lovely followed by a chocolate fondue, best I have ever had! Thanks Chameleon Junction!

OMG the chicken burger with jalepeno was out of this world, already knew the beef burger was good but this was sensational �

we came in on saturday morning and at first it was really quiet, but then like 3 minutes later it suddenly got really busy! but we never had to wait much for anything! I could see the kitchen and as far as I could see there was only one guy in there? he was like a cooking machine, and the two girls out the front seemed to be in ten places at once, I've been here several times now and I always love it because as well as really great food the staff are all so nice and friendly, even though it was crazy busy they had time for us, it's just really good service every time, it always looks like everyone who works here loves it and that makes such a nice atmosphere, it's not one of those places where there's a surly hipster making coffee and moody teenagers taking your order!! I had their eggs benedict which was amazing, it comes on this like rosti thing instead of toast or a muffin, I was going to get it without the sauce because I wasn't sure I'd like it but the girl said I could get the sauce on the side and I am so glad I did! it was so yummy! I wish I'd taken a photo :-)
Such an incredible breakfast, (I had eggs on toast, tomato, asparagus and spinach, I’m posting the photo!) the coffee is great, the staff is super friendly and the restaurant has a very nice atmosphere.
Nice clean and convenient cafe. One of the few open in Moorabbin on a Sunday! Service is quick and friendly, the food is good as is the coffee. Pricing is a tad higher than expected but not by much. Recommended for breakfast and/or coffee.
Love the warm service. Ok coffees took way longer than they should have but the loveliness of the staff made up for it. Gee I must have been in a good mood! Loved that they asked how everything was.

My mocha was ok. Could be the beans. Just didn’t wow me. Loved the cup it came in. Partner loved her short macc.
My pancakes or actually more like crepes were delicious. I’m glad I asked for the lemon ricotta as that lemony sweet moistness really enhanced the sweet and saltiness. Not too large a serving which I love. In fact I wish it had been larger as it was so good.
Pea fritters were so good. It seemed as if they had a meringue-like crunchiness which was so good. Again, portion size perfect and all melded so well in the mouth esp with the mint!
A real highlight in Moorabbin. Will be back.

Good brunch spot. Coffee was good, food was tasty and staff were enthusiastic and happy. Decor is well thought out. A great place for your late breakfast while reading the paper.
Just had a great dinner at Chameleon Junction. We had a delicious marinara and the very tasty haloumi burger. Lots of variety on the menu, and good value! Will be back.
Came for a Saturday night dinner. Not normally an area we go to but parking was easy and we had a nice private table at the front of the restaurant. Great cafe open for dinner with a selection of dishes to suit all tastes. Gluten free options and friendly service. Staff and management made our experience a good one. Piped music and a good bar for drinks also make the cafe a choice if you just want a cold one.

Went there yesterday with my partner for lunch. Highly recommend the CJ burger with the bacon jam! I usually don’t like bacon in my burger but this jam was super tasty and made the burger have that extra layer of flavour that can get quite addictive. With great service and decent prices, it’s definitely worth visiting.
What a treat to be invited to an evening at Chameleon Junction. Opening for breakfast and lunch last year, and now adding dinner across 7 days with opening until 11pm, this classy joint is set to shake up the South. We were given generous tasting serves of a selection of menu items with matched wines, and loved them all.
Wonderful addition to Moorabbin shops. Friendly warm greeting and vibe from the staff. The menu is definitely different to your standard cafe, and we certainly took our time trying to decide between all of the good items to choose from. People with a rich palate will enjoy this place - Mac and cheese croquettes, maple bacon, cabbage and kale hash - yum! The coffee was nice. The eggs were beautiful and bright, wherever they are from, customers will be going back for them! Obviously sourced ethically. The pea fritters were fluffy, crispy, and full of flavor. I ditched the egg and added haloumi - the presentation was stunning, and I couldn’t wait to dig in to the masterpiece, the sauce under was so tasty I was scraping the plate for more. Good portion size to. We’ll be going back soon to tick more items off here! Loved the interior design, not a fan of green usually but the shade is warm and really welcoming.
Enjoyed our breakfast here this morning. It's a really welcoming space with very friendly professional staff. The coffee was our favourite Genovese blend so that was the first plus. The menu was a little different which is refreshing. Must say that I was devastated to find no avocado on the menu. Major point deduction for that one. We ordered maple bacon. Crispy and tasty but couldn't taste the maple at all. Overall meals were nice but not amazing. Maybe we didn't order anything imaginative enough. Definitely worth trying again.
So lovely! The atmosphere is friendly and warm. The decor clean and verdant. The coffee perfection. The food is oh so tasty. My favourite dish is the gnocchi. Oh Lordy! Heavenly pillows of deliciousness! Fabulous. If you’re a local or coming from afar, make this your regular and the friendly staff will make you feel right at home.
I love the people and the food here. It's so refreshing to have a place that's open for breaky lunch and dinner with staff and owners who actually like people! Always served with a smile and a conversation even though they are getting busier and busier by the day which is good to see that they have got their formula right and will be a long lasting feature of good ok moorabbin town! Super friendly girls each time I visit for a coffee or a wine. It is a nice change to the junction and is open past 4 which is a bonus!

Worth a visit.
Went there for dinner last week and had a fabulous meal. There were 5 of us so we got to share each other's coz we couldn't decide! Every dish was beautifully presented and really beautiful flavours. I finished off with a Creme Caramel. So yum. Service fabulous everyone was happy. I have also had lunch there and it is the best coffee around for sure!!!! I have been back several times now enjoying every mouthful! The deserts are just SO YUM and finish off the meal perfectly.
.... and to add.... I have revisited Chameleon Junction and it just a gets more yummy with new dishes. Went with my sister last week and had the gnocchi. Oh so yum! I’ll be back!

Wonderful free range and locally sourced food cooked with care and fresh ideas, makes CJ such a great destination. Lovely wine choices, conveniently opposite Moorabbin station and always a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. What's not to like?

This place is fantastic - a great edition to Moorabbin. I’ve always had to travel for decent food and drinks but now I’ve got top quality place on my doorstep that I can go for beautiful food, great ambience, attentive service, and an all round enjoyable evening. Hope it goes well for these guys as they bringing something special and much needed to Moorabbin 😀 p.s. if you like burgers try theirs. It’s up there with the best 🍔

Great place for Lunch or dinner. Try the fish and chips or brisket spaghetti for a top meal. Good coffee also, which was badly needed in Moorabbin.
Yum! Have been here for breakfast and lunch. Try the burger it’s sensational. Have also dropped in just for the mango smoothie. Friendly and helpful service. Highly recommend
This place is fab. We went with out kids for a family meal out. The food is amazing, the coffee is amazing, and the service is excellent. We had a pinwheel salad and a vegan noodle dish. Burgers looked great too. Very kid friendly.

The burger was juicy, succulent and a perfect lunchtime filler.
Porridge was a perfect temperature with some amazing spicy floral aromas.
I felt super comfortable and relaxed surrounded by large glass open windows, gorgeous calm Greenery and the beautiful hand crafted wooden surroundings.
I have found my new local brunch spot and can’t wait to see the dinner menu and pop up for a glass of wine or three.
Will definitely be back for more.
Visited for the first time on Saturday night prior to a show at The Flying Saucer Club around the corner. Staff very friendly and welcoming and the food was beautifully cooked and presented. I chose fish and chips, hubby chose the cheeseburger. Both arrived piping hot to the table in no time. We also shared a very nice bottle of wine. Prices are very reasonable and the restaurant also caters for dinner and shows at the FSC. We will definitely return to sample some more of the interesting menu... Highly recommended. 😋
Tasty, delicious food and great service. Recommend the cheesey Mac croquettes and soba noodle salad. Enjoyed both times I've been and will definitely be going again.

It’s a very good place to have your breakfast! I like the food, people and the service. Coffee is good and they are quick. The menu has some variety and they put its unique style on the dish. Recommend for a brunch since the portion is generous for most people.

The burger was outstanding (best I've ever had) the chef even served his specials, amazing tacos, and the service, wow, it felt like I was at a tasting session of all the goodies this amazing cafe has. A new gem discovered, definitely my new favorite cafe, and Harriet, amazing customer skills, keep it up.
