Perfect place for any occasion. Dinner with friends, drinks, Sunday brunch, Sunday arvo drinks. Side Street has it all. A huge fav of mine, even better bc it's local.
Love the tapas menu, loads to choose from. I'm a big fan of the antipasto platter & the cheese board. Gluten free options available too which is always good, especially for me. The Gluten free bread is sourced from Rustic bakery, also in Mordialloc and the finest quality I've had for a while. I go to Rustic for my own gluten free needs since finding them via Side Street.
Staff are well trained and full of character. Cocktails are an absolute must! My fav being the Espresso Martini.
Upbeat funky tunes play through the sound system and live music is on at least once a week.
Side Street is perfectly decked out with indoor and outdoor dining, a courtyard out back for some air (or the smokers) and plenty more bench seats plus tables & chairs outside.
So thrilled this funky little bar came to Mordialloc, just what we needed. No need to travel inner city now..
If you want something more substantial to eat, just pop next door to their sister venue Main Street.
Side Street also cater for functions and the ambient lighting inside provides a warm welcoming environment. Cosy for drinks or anything really.

I love this place. Super friendly staff that feel like family, cozy atmosphere, great selection of cocktails that changes every now and then so its NEVER the "same old same old", aaaannnd live acousticusic music 🎶 on Sundays! ❤❤❤❤❤
Fantastic bar person Wed night introduced me and George to Watermelon & Violet liquer with soda water and fresh lime. Soooo refreshing 😄

I love this place! A very clever add on to Main Street, this hip bar and awesome meeting spot is a great addition to Mordialloc.
The only food I’ve had here were the chicken wings and they were impressive!

Seriously loving this place at the moment. My go to place for a wicked cocktail, chilled tunes and friendly staff. Can get full pretty early resulting in a wait to get in but it's never cramped inside!
Great spot for drinks with friends, we absolutely love picking at the nachos! Gotta say I am so impressed with the prices of the cocktails, especially considering their quality is fantastic! An absolute favourite of mine, keep up the great work

Always like going to side st. The staff are nice and the drinks are good. Tapas are decent too. They also don't tend to pack the place out too much, which means if you get in you have some space and feel comfortable. The bouncers in the evening are usually very polite and friendly too which is a nice touch.

Definitely the place to be.... Oh wow!!!
I was at Side Street last night and greeted by the best staff. I was impressed and this was even before I had found somewhere to sit down.
I made my way to the bar and once again, I was served by such friendly staff and always with a smile.
Me and my friend were then approached by the Manager, Andy, and suggested we try the "Grazing Plate" that they had on their specials menu and it was absolutely amazing. Talk about value for money and the quality and selection of what was on the platter was absolutely spot on (I have posted a photo of the Grazing plate).
The cheeses, the meats, crackers and the selection of dipping sauces was absolutely fantastic and all for a great price.
We were then approached by the head chef and were asked if we enjoyed the platter and he had the time to explain everything on the platter in detail.
Summing it all up, Staff 10/10, Food 10/10. Atmosphere 10/10...
...And one of the most friendly places to be!!!

Main Street is a fantastic spot for the Mordi locals, with breakie, lunch and dinner firing out reasonably priced, good all round dishes with plenty of flavour and a good wine list to match. For menus click here . Enjoy an array of ‘conversation starters’ with spring rolls, bread and dips, arancini and calamari. All well made and perfect with a cold chardy. The calamari is really good, not greasy and good, fresh squid. Spring rolls are yummy, nice filling, again not greasy and thoroughly enjoyable. Pulled pork sliders are fresh, generous and good succulent pork. Crispy skinned barramundi with a salad of fennel, roasted beetroot, orange segments, rocket & baba ganoush is bloody good! Crispy skin as promised and lovely flaking fish. Best place in Mordialloc to go out to for a club like experience. It's not big, but gets busy enough. Bar staff are always friendly.

Best local bar and lounge for great vibe and music. This place is just like having a city or chapel street style lounge in the heart of Mordialloc. Great staff, service and awesome tunes.
After many attempts of trying to contact the venue to book (recovid) I rocked up randomly on way to station (which is very close). A small cover charge, great music, awesome vibe & good age bracket attending. Had great night with friends & met some beautiful people, will definitely return.
Really happy with this place!! Me and my mother (who was in a wheelchair) got stranded in Mordicalloc and needed somewhere safe to sit and have a drink, After finding out is was a ticketed/paid event the security guard was amazing and went out of his way to ask the manager if me and my mother could sit outside and have a couple of drinks and one of the managers came out and personally welcomed us and said that we would always be welcome back if we got stuck. They let us sit and wait until we were able to get a ride home in a taxi. The place itself was great on the inside the bar staff were also very polite and knowledgeable. Was amazed how much they went out of their way. Really made our night! Was blown away by the kindnesses of them. Highly recommended.
