Good Cantonese food. Chefs prepare it themselves.
The old Wangs had a good reputation. From late 2019 it was taken over by the family which had Hong Kong BBQ in Northbridge for so long. So you can expect excellent roast pork and duck - but safest to pre-order if you want either of those dishes. good food. Lots of parking in the area. It is adjacent to the Morley Galleria and Coventary Markets.
If you like durian you should try  the durian mochi.

Ordered a few times from here via home delivery and always the food is tops. The odd dish we order is so-so but always terrific egg rice, Szechuan beef and lemon chicken sauce is yummy and not sour. Love this food here compared to others in the area.

Decent and tasty Chinese meals and dim sum. Polite and friendly wait staff. Looked after us the whole night but didn’t harass us either. Food was tasty, dim sums are quality, as good as any you’ll have in Northbridge or the city. Serving sizes of the meals and large and the prices are reasonable. Would go again.

Dined in here twice now. Grateful for a reasonable yumcha place near Morley. I am aware that traditional yumchas do not have lots of vegan options, but it would’ve been great if they did have a bit more.
The peanut mochi was heavenly 😍

Service is prompt and fairly steady, although the trolley range circulating wasn't as varied as some. It seems that many customers order from the menu for delicious dim sum and accompaniments. We booked ahead to avoid the queues of this popular place. The prawn and chive steamed dumplings were the best, and we also enjoyed the steamed pork buns.

Nothing incredibly special here. Everything was of acceptable quality and the service was decent enough. We were the only gwai lo in there so that has to be some sort of decent sign using the old WASP foreign restaurant rating method.

Best place for Sunday dim sum. They offer a fast turn around and food is great! It's also cheap and you will walk out very full. Be sure to try the fried ice cream.

The food here is great (especially the steamed dumplings) , we've never had any problems with any dishes. The owners/manager are always wondering around so if there's any issues they're super prompt. Like any dim sum place though, if you don't want to be waiting for a table or are scared of missing out on your favourite dish then you might want to head there close to opening times; we've never had to wait to long for a table though. Reasonable pricing, great atmosphere.

Great food, authentic and what you expect with yumcha. Expect to wait for quite a while so get there early and grab a number. I didn't get a photo of all the food we had but definitely try the Liu Sha bao and egg tarts. Liu Sha bao is a gorgeous golden bun with a crispy exterior, fluffy underneath. The centre oozes a sweet and delicately salted liquid egg custard. Heaven. I loved these in Singapore, they're so popular in quite a few Asian countries for a reason.

Decided to stop by after hearing so much about their dim sum.  Dumplings and rice flour rolls are passable, however the standouts are:
Egg tarts - Crispy flaky pastry with balanced egg custard.  Worth the wait.
Glutinous rice wrapped in lotus leaf - Very fragrant.

Note, the place gets crowded and noisy during lunch.  An uplift to the decor would do wonders.

Good place for weekend family get togethers. Prompt service.

This place always gets busy so if youre not there within the first half hour of opening, theres a good chance you'll be waiting outside for a table.

I couldn't fault their food. Reasonable pricing.

Came here for a weekday lunch around 1pm and the trolley carts were mostly empty and what was left was a bit cold. Anything not on the carts could be ordered and freshly made though. Pretty good suburbia dim sum but didn't think it was anything special. The rice flour rolls and egg tarts are worth a mention though.

Yum Dim Sum
Friends of our recommended this place so a large group of us went for lunch on a Friday and it was still quite busy.  The service was good, but we did have to ask for extra chilli a couple of times.  The prawn dumplings were large.  The squid tasty. There was a large variety of dishes.  The crispy pork belly was to die for - but when we got the bill it was $12,  so a little pricey. But the remainder of the dishes were reasonable.  Will definitely return

Finding a good dimsum  restaurant that is not located in Northbridge is hard to come by, but fortunately there is this little gem buried in the teeming suburb of Morley. The Wang's Treasure House  provides the convenience and a well priced menu. This modest place can get quite busy especially over the weekend, so I opted to go on a weekday, where service was excellent and food was good.

Friday night dinner around 8pm. The place was only half full so no issues getting a table. I don't think they do dim sum at night so we grabbed the schezwan king prawns and chicken curry. The flavours were great in both but the prawns were on another level! I'm not huge on spicy stuff because sometimes it overpowers the flavours but these were absolutely perfect. Plenty of heat but amazing flavour. Staff were quick and friendly.

Definitely one of the better dim sum restaurants in the metro area - have been here a few times now and even though you might have to wait for a seat even during the week it is always great food and service. It is a testament to the number of people always filling the restaurant that it is well worth the wait to get in, have been on a Monday and Thursday and  if you don't want to wait then go after 1pm is my best advice. The variety of food brought round on trolleys is pretty good and authentic too.

Very busy dim sum place. Big line even by 10.30am on weekends. After a 30 min wait we got a table and were able to start eating through some delicious dim sum. Really big dumplings, meaty spare ribs and some great original dim sum dishes that other dim sum places in Perth don't serve. Don't miss the egg yolk buns!

Great dim sum. All fresh and steaming hot. Carts coming around non stop with variety but you can order something specific if you don't see it on the carts. One of the better dim sum places I think.
Tried something different - Sesame Mochi - wow! The "skin" or "pouch" texture was beautifully soft and fresh. Full of slightly sweetened sesame seeds. It was delicious!

However, it's super busy on a Sunday morning. Luckily because we were just 2, we had to wait only 15min. But who knows how long the bigger groups were waiting. The queue was out the door and down the carpark at 11am and still at 1pm.
So we were seated at a table right next to the counter/entrance and it was a little uncomfortable being stared at during your entire meal or being run into by the carts and people getting past.

We came here for dinner on Friday night. It was pretty quiet with plenty of free tables. I had booked a table expecting it to be busy.
The service was good, friendly and attentive. We shared 3 different types of dumplings. They were good, not the best I've had but tasty and well priced. The squid tentacles were really tasty as well.
Will come back again as overall good food, good service and well priced.

Love the fact that a halfway decent yum cha has opened up closer to me. Before going for yum cha meant having to head into the city and scour for parking, all before waiting in a huge line for a table. Service is typical of a yum cha place, staff can seem abrupt and even rude at times. The food itself is consistent and there is nothing which was particularly terrible. Have only been during the day for yum cha and have never tried the other food. Wait times can be awful during peak times so be prepared to wait before being seated!

Ok Perth I think you've finally delivered a yum cha venue comparable to Melbourne's standard. Loved this! Came to try it out on a Wednesday for Mum's birthday really not expecting anything & thought it's mid week in the middle of Morley so certainly won't be like the normal weekend frenzy that usually is yumcha...but upon opening the door we were shocked! The boom of chatter, every table full, people waiting inside & atleast 80% asian patronage...all very exciting signs! The older lady at the front was absolutely gorgeous & very welcoming & friendly-she spoke with us & kept assuring us they would find us a table soon. Well within 10mins we were seated & it just got better! Great range of dumplings, fresh & very nice flavour.. really enjoyed everything we got. We ate heaps & even brought home leftovers! 3 of us paid $67 total...great lunch, definitely coming back!

We managed to get a table immediately - courtesy, I assume, of the fact that it was Boxing Day since by all accounts the wait for a table can normally be a long one. The atmosphere is much the same as in most yum cha restaurants although the pace today was somewhat less frenetic.

A good range of dumplings - the usual suspects plus a few unusual ones - with very generous fillings. All were good. Service was prompt and friendly. Prices were reasonable.

Dinner was delicious! After not having the best dim sum exp the previous week(the first few pics), was not having high hopes when family wanted to have birthday dinner here for a family friend. The food was fresh, well balanced and great value. The complimentary prawn crackers, soup and fruit was a nice touch. So was the candle, cake and birthday music that the boss lady arranged for us 😊😊 *tip there's dim sum avail at night too

I've never really been to Morley before until a few days ago. I went to meet an acquaintance (via tinder) for a casual drink.

This is where it went horribly wrong. I would suggest not dating in Morley as a pretty good rule of thumb. Having been there I can tell you.

However, every damp and overly talkative cloud called Kasey has a silver lining - I left my date and then discovered Wang's Treasure House. Although not the initial treasure I wished to get my hands on the food was great. I can definitely recommend this as an excellent pick me up! The crispy chicken with vinaigrette was magnifique! And priced well.

Cheat notes: Wang's is good.
Morley not so good for dating but will not rule it out entirely.

Sunday October 11 Lunch

Love the generous amount of prawns in dumplings
Love the flavoursome-ness
Love the fresh ness of each dish
Love the carts wheeled around for instant visual choices
Love the inexpensive nature of dim sum

Loathe the lines
Loathe the terrible lighting inside
Loathe the squished like a sardine feel of the restaurant - although almost a standard in these types of places ...

Need to get there earlier on Sunday's and the air con was not working today. But the food was worth it!

Never had to wait 2+ hrs on the footpath outside a Chinese restaurants for seats anywhere. By that time my patience was slowing ebbing away and I was starving!! We were finally led inside, the place was busy and noisy, customers coming and going, staff pushing their food trolleys around. Typical dim sum atmosphere. Once we were seated, tea was served and we were met with a string of food trolleys almost immediately. The variety was good. My favorite was the fried squid tentacle- these guys make the best ones here.Dumplings looked and tasted fresh. Love the egg tarts! We were in and out in less than 1hr. Service was good. Prices were reasonable. My only warning is.. Don't expect to be seated immediately..

Very busy every weekend and expect to queue! However I found they were quite organised and wouldn't take long to get a table! They offer a very wide dim sum choices from classic HK favourites (traditional steamed ma lai kou, hk style chicken pie, chan pao, polo pao) to standard fares (siu mai, har gao, bbq pork buns, spare ribs, etc.) and special dishes (baked oysters, durian pastry, black sesame jin tui)! And they did these dishes well! Definitely a place to check out if you haven't! Will definitely be visiting this joint more often!

Pretty good dim sum. The queue is ridiculous but we snagged a table for two within 20 minutes. The staff are very patient (I have never encountered patient and polite service in a dim sum joint before!), calmly repeating to everyone that their table is not ready.

The note worthy dishes : shredded radish encased in pastry (pretty yummy), char siew puff ( my fav), their baked cheese oyster ( unique , creamy and not to my taste but worth trying if it is piping hot), egg tarts are good, Har gau (prawn steamed dumplings) are bursty and has thin silky skins. They ran out of the siew long pau (dumpling with soup inside) so I must return to try later on. The century egg porridge was thick and filled with pork and egg in every spoon. Chilli oil here has fried garlic in it , quite different to other restaurants.

Their siew mai was ok, not the best in Perth but slightly above average .

Will return.

Great dim sum. This has become our regular dim sum joint.

The variety of dim sum is good. They have all the popular selection of dim sum dumplings, plus an assortment of steamed or baked bao (buns), fried dishes(squid, prawn dumplings), lor bak go. various rice flour roll combos (including rice flour roll with fried cruller - Jar Leung) , tofu-fa, rice porridge and many more. The char siew sew (baked bbq triangle puffs) & egg tart are yummy.

Taste: We prefer the taste flavours here (compared to other places in Perth) as it is not as heavy or greasy as some dim sum restaurants. The dim sum generally tastes fresh and cleaner. The dumpling sizes are perfect.

Prices: are reasonable in comparison to other Perth dim sum restaurants. Cheaper than Dragon Palace in Northbridge, which has deteriorated significantly in quality over the years (whilst increasing their profit margins).

Location: located opposite BP service station, opposite Morley Galleria. Free parking is available behind the building which is a park land & sports area.
Service: The restaurant is a good size, but expect to wait for a table any time after 11am or even before that on the weekends. A wait of up to an hour depending on the size of your group, wouldn’t be surprising if you arrived at 11.30 to 12pm with a big group. As a groupf of 4-5, we commonly wait 20-30minutes if we are late. As a Hong Kong styled dim sum restaurant, the wait-staff mostly speak Cantonese and these days Mandarin also – if you are expecting or demanding fluent English you will be disappointed – go to Macca’s. If you have problems with waiting, as some reviewers seem to, go somewhere else – how about Macca’s. I'm not saying that you can't expect prompt professional service, but go to any "popular" eatery in the world and you have to wait alongside all the other punters during peak periods. I do agree with another reviewer, that the male manger/head waiter is rather rude. I appreciate he deals with the masses, but on numerous occasions, I have seen or experienced his lack of courtesy and professionalism. I don't expect this to change - no drama, unless he makes one.
Another dim sum place I like is New moon in James Street, Northbridge, but a lot smaller and also you normally need to pay for parking around there.

Best yum cha in Morley. They don't take bookings and it gets busy so arrive early if you don't want to wait for a table.

Any of the streamed dumplings containing prawns or scallops are recommended. The congee, to fu fa, and egg trays are also excellent.

Chinese tea here is pretty good.

A bit stingy with the chili oil, but you can request more.

Not just the best in Morley but one of the best in Perth, IMO.

Great food, a little pricey but still worthy of being a regular go to. For daytime Yum Cha, food and service is actually BETTER when it’s a busy Sunday rush, seating is slow but they are so busy that they make an effort to get to all parts of the restaurant in comparison to when it’s less busy on a weekday and there’s 1x cart.. they just park it up and the serving lady just runs back and forth to it but may never get to your table.. As for dinner or take away at nights it’s still pricey but the food is good service is fast and there’s usually parks always available. Have to try their Szechwan Chicken off the menu. Beautiful! Will be a regular for as long as we’re living local. 😉👌
