Review Uthong Thai - Mornington

The customer service was horrible. Ordered when it was dead and empty, and got our two entrees and the spring rolls tasted like horse. More customers came in and some regulars apparently because they started having a conversation for 5 minutes when people were waiting to be served. They along with many tables who ordered after us received their food before us. We became extremely frustrated. We called over one of the head staff to ask where our food was. As a response i got ‘hold on you have to be patient.’ I was shocked, i have never been treated so poorly in a restaurant environment. In regards to the food, the Roti bread looked like store bought naan from my local Indian restaurant which makes me wonder as to where there they ran over the road to the woolies. Tong yam soup was a bit sour and the carrot was basically hard. Could’ve broken my tooth. Completely inappropriate and i’ll put you back into your place.

Best Thai in Mornington, reasonable price, fresh ingredients and flavour, flavour, flavour. My partners favourite is the Pad Satay and mine is definitely the beef Gang Massaman red curry we normally get takeaway.

Very Disappointing. Regular Customers prioritised first, Got yelled at to ‘Be patient’ when waiting over half an hour for meals, with no apology whatsoever.

Quality authentic thai food, such a great local business. Food was great. Will be back

Went to this little gem during my short vacation. Was a bit skeptical at first since the place was so hidden away, but boy was I wrong! This is by far, the best thai restaurant that i’ve ever dined in! Their dishes are so flavourful and so much variety. Their green curry, tom yum is so so good. Way better than thai restaurants I usually go to at melbourne’s CBD. Will definitely be coming back next time !!!

Worst service ever the staff was too rude and didn’t provided the requested food. Asked for spicy curry but turned up with sweet curry. The. Lady was serving was looking like very grumpy and it seemed she ordering us not us. Upon asking for takeaways containers we been charged for that . And argued very rudly when asked for takeaway containers. Food was 0% what was expected. Never recommend to anyone edging nothing rather eating their food. There is no opting to give zero star one star been chosen to post the reviews Like
