Colleagues and I went here for lunch. Most of us had very fresh parmas with a light passers and crispy chips. The atmosphere is bustling and vibrant. The setting is rustic with a traditional Italian bent. I looked at the cakes but decided against indulging. Next time. The service was polite and quick and being able to watch the kitchen is always fun.
Great atmosphere and outfitting. I have been here several times for coffee, breakfast and lunch. Beautiful on summers day to sit outside and enjoy a cone of their scrumptious sorbet. Yet, equally welcoming and cosy during the chilly winter months. The service is friendly and polite, however could be a little more attentive to the customers. The menu is diverse and includes a range of healthy options. The coffee is always beautiful, however I usually ask for it to be made extra hot as I have been served only luke warm coffee on several occasions. The servings of food are insanely big! I suggest that they lessen their servings, however I guess you get great value for the price. The 'seriously rich' Italian hot chocolate is just that... SERIOUSLY RICH. Last time ordered it in a mug, but I do not recommend doing that unless it's the only thing you order or you haven't eaten all day. It is so sweet and intense! Overall, Apple Espresso is wonderful; a favourite place of mine to visit and will definitely be back again...and again!
Great food, friendly staff and quick service. Slightly inflexible with the menu and changes but eventually agreed to swap my 'roast veg' side for 'salad' though charging me extra in the process.
Fantastic!. Great service everyone is friendly and the food is so fresh. Will be back :)
Ricotta and cinnamon cake, where have you been all my life???? Amazing!!! Staff could have been a bit more polite when correcting their own mistakes!! But the cake will bring me back!!
Breakfast (Somerville bacon and eggs and farnhouse breakfast) proved to be made from fresh beautiful produce and really delicious. The waiting time was s little bit long however they were absolutely full. Coffee is excellent.
Overall, an excellent place!. Food is great, been for both breakfast and lunch and there is a great variety of food and they use high quality produce (Somerville eggs, free-range bacon) etc to make great-tasting food. Service is good considering they are quite obviously run off their feet at times, however remain friendly and professional. It is a bit loud, but that is to be expected. And the array of cakes and sweets is excellent too, definitely worth a visit!
Sandra's homemade nonna biscotti , absolutely delish
I prefer lunch at Tully's to breakfast, with a lovely selection of very tasty choices on offer. The only thing that lets this place down is that service can be absurdly slow. Highly recommend the coffee!
Great set up, so cosy. Fabulous service. Best presentation of tea I've seen in a long time. Yummy choc orange muffin!
Great coffee and lunch options. Really like the authentic Italian setup - has a fantastic feel. Can be worth booking as it is usually pretty busy.
Terrific little find. I relate this more as Mt Eliza than Mornington and is a terrific little find.
Best ambiance of all cafes in Mt Eliza combined with good food, coffee, wine and ice creams. Outdoor dining, take away window.
You need to know it's there as there is no road signage; probably council bureaucracy. Adjoins Tully's and Diacos (?) Nursery.
Worth finding. You won’t be disappointed.
I’ve been to Tully’s a few times to pick up some fresh produce and visit the deli, and they always have a really good selection and great quality fresh food. When Katie suggested we try brunch at the cafe next door I figured that at the very least they’d have good ingredients to start with so brunch here must be half decent. It was a very windy Sunday morning so Katie and I elected to sit inside – the seating was quite squashy and I would imagine it would be really cramped if the place was busy – thankfully we were there pretty early so it wasn’t full. Both Katie and I were pretty hungry so we wasted no time in ordering breakfast. Katie ordered the eggs (scrambled) and bacon option, which also comes with sautéed spinach & tomatoes on sourdough bread $14.95. I ordered the Farmhouse Breakfast which comes with poached eggs fagioli (borlotti beans), sautéed mushrooms, pure pork bambino sausage, sautéed spin
