Review Main Street Kebabs - Mornington

Highly recommend Main Street kebabs! A+++ for everything, service is 100% on point, food is beautiful. Great traditional owner that takes pride in his business. A must visit for anything from chips to iskender and all that’s in between.

Lovely staff, decent shish kebab. Family enjoyed their meal. Overall pretty good.

Google says open till 9pm. It was 8.45, the doors were wide open, lights on and no closed sign. As I crossed the the street I saw someone head out to the back of the store. After I entered I waited politely for 5 minutes before I opened a fridge door to let someone know I was there. A man came out from the back looking confused. I asked if they were open. He seemed aggressive and said they were closed. I said that I had been waiting for 5 minutes. He shrugged and said “so?”. I said “maybe you should consider closing your doors”. He became more aggressive and said “It’s hot!”. I felt like he wanted to fight me. I ran away. It was a horrible experience.

Asked if Tabouli was made today. Woman didn’t like it. Rude, said no made it 6 weeks ago was one comment the look she kept giving me amongst other muttering. Ended up chucking it felt slimy. Won’t be going there again. Shame man is very nice.

Always reliable , friendly service , clean and great takeaway kebabs. Chips are crisp with chicken salt.

Amazing food and fantastic service. The owner is a Turkish man, and has been running the business for more than 11years. Food was fresh and hot, will come again!!

Decent kebabs. The staff here are always polite and whilst I wouldn't say the kebabs aren't my favourite in the area, they're definitely not bad. Worth a try!

It looked like the cockroaches on the counter were enjoying their meal, so there was no chance we were going to eat here. The manager didn't seem to care either.

From America to Main St!. I loooovvveeeeeeee this place!! Not only is the food amazing- the staff is awesome!! The first time I tried this place I was preggos and thought I would be over it when I had my child...but NOPE! The food is AMAZING (coming from a pregnant lady and a lady who's trying to get herself together lol) I could order here every day and not get tired of it (usually once a week I get something from here)! I feel like they have the best fries (chips) ever and the chicken kebabs are to die for! If you want a great kebab, try this place :)

Amazing!!. So this place is awesome .. My friend had lamb kebab, the best she's had ;) I'm vegan gluten free and they made a special plate of deliciousness with falafel, dip and salad .. Was incredible! They guys in there are so sweet and pretty cute! We were super stoned and they were very cool and didn't make it awkward at all! Can't wait to go back.. 10 hundred stars.

Awesome. Got a large kebab meal and a drink. Service was great, the owner passed me my meal why I was waiting outside. Perfect wrapped kebab, delicious lamb and fillings. Freshly cooked chips. Best kebabs in Melbourne! Genuine friendly staff with all the extra touches many businesses are lacking these days. Food is amazing, eggplant dip and pide bread is spectacular. Massive serving sizes too, and homemade rice pudding just sets off a night of feeling ill from stuffing ones face ;) recommending to all!

Yummy Food. We travelled to Mornington and ate at Main Street Kebabs. The cafe is tiny and very cute and spotlessly clean. We ordered an eggplant dip,falafel and main course lamb dish with tomato and Turkish bread. All very delicious! The owners really care about their diners and serving sizes are more than generous. Thank you for a lovely,friendly,casual lunch.

Finally a Nice Kebeb place in town! Only gripe is I feel Like the portions are getting smaller and smaller each time we go! maybe something to do with popularity? Id reccomend this place to anyone, yummo

Good times. Big value though portions have been shrinking as popularity grows. The mixed platter was once huge. Tasty grub.

I love Kebabs and this would have to be the best one I've ever had. Brilliant, fresh, delicious, best flat bread in the business - keep up the great taste and service.

Home made eggplant dip is amazing! Lamb shish so tender and really clean, non greasy - will be my next after gym meal, tasty and healthy!

I've never been a huge fan of kebabs but upon sampling these I am definitely converted and I've been back many times. Really fresh ingredients and great flavours. Friendly staff make for a pleasant experience.

Amazing!. Most perfect kebabs I have ever had! Dont leave it till after you've been drinking all night to end up here! The salad is so fresh and such good quality, the tomatoes are nice and red and tasty, the bread is fresh and yummy. I've only ever had the chicken and it has been mouth watering every time. Succulent tasty meat with no fat or grissle etc. Big portion size and great price at 9-10 dollars for a kebab. Looking forward to trying some of the other meals on their menu but for now cant stop eating their chicken kebabs! Bonus is that the guys that run it are genuinely friendly.
