Review Eddies Lebanese Eatery - Mortdale

Al Right
It is a well presented restaurant, very friendly service and the owner is actively involved and interacts with the customers. Food was ordinary and avarage, at least what we ordered anyway. Each dish was placed on a bed of cabbage, shawarma, baby octopus and kibbeh, which was unusual.

Always good, the food is genuine and Eddie and his wife go out of the way to make you comfortable. We love the Falafel, Mixed Platter, Lahem Mishwee and Shish Tawouk. We can highly recommend it.

Had a great meal here - staff are friendly Would love more comfortable seating but I will be back!

Delicious authentic Lebanese with genuine home-cooking comforts. Host previously operated at Roseville for many years (next to the cinema). Really glad we made the side trip — Eddie came through! Kids also loved the gelato.

This is the best Lebanese Restaurant around. My family had a favourite Lebanese restaurant which we thought couldn't be beaten but we were wrong. Eddie's is not just an amazing food experience but their customer experience is phenomenal. You walk away not only with your belly happy but a feeling of sheer happiness. The menu has a large variety and pricing is good eg $26 you receive a platter of mixed items. We went for a buffet for my daughters 30th with so much food which was $48 a head, the food was abundant and Eddie packed up our left overs to take home. The kebabs were set on rice which even the rice was amazing, am I talking about rice...yep because even that was delicious When you walk in, there are tables for up to 4 but a real surprise is the back area where they cater for large groups or if you want a more private area. I would recommend you book and if possible a week in advance. I really don't want to share this restaurant as I would love to keep it a secret but they deserve this review . This is now my family's favourite restaurant and we are Greek 🙂 With my excitement nearly forgot to add Plenty of street parking but becareful before certain hours (6pm) it only 1 hour before this time. Easy access for prams and wheelchair but would ask for back area

There's probably not a lot I can add here that hasn't already been said before. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was cosy. Can't wait to come back again!

Probably the best lebanese restaurant in this region. Love their pasteries. Overall, really good quality food. Will be back!

My friend introduced us to Eddie’s Lebanese Eatery and we were impressed with the lovely service and the food quality. The serving size was enormous. We ordered the sharing meal which came with dip and bread, meat skewers on rice, salad, potato & falafel. Highly recommended if you want try out Lebanese cuisine.

My colleagues are kinda obsessed this place lol, being the same ethnicity I have a higher expectation. I have to admit that the owner is so lovely and friendly. The parking isn't that great at peak time.. which is annoying. But this place does suit people who don't eat much lebanese food, it's a good experience to try.

Very enjoyable, great value and a friendly atmosphere, if you like this cuisine this is definitely one to try
We took the whole family and there is something for everyone
Eddie made a point of checking in on us to see if everything was ok / a nice touch!

Fantastic food, the servings are HUGE, the banquet for 5 would have easily fed another two or three people. Eddie was everything we'd read about in all the reviews, so friendly & welcoming. This was our first visit to Eddies & we CANNOT wait to go back. Delicious food, friendly staff & great prices, what more can you ask for?

Must visit! This place has quality food and is our go to Lebanese food place. Eddie is so lovely to everyone and he greets you like it's his home. Definitely a place you need to go. 100% recommend to anyone that aren't locals or are like myself. Love it!

Great place for Lebanese cuisine - owner Eddie is lovely and the food is not only delicious, but the servings are HUGE. Couldn't finish our food, but all good Eddie made sure we took the rest home. Service was great, great value for money. Will definitely be returning.

Excellent food in large portions. The food always tastes so healthy and fresh, and the staff are always so kind and welcoming. Best restaurant in Mortdale!
The Weekend Foodie
Fantastic Lebanese Eatery with excellent customer service. Owner Eddie greets all customers personally and at the table. Food is great, portions are large (great for sharing) however too much tabouli and not enough meat. Also had the Lebanese coffee, it was so strong and potent an expresso coffee lovers dream. Would definitely go back. Probably one of the best restaurants in Mortdale.

Eddie and his staff are great, my children were warmly welcomed and the dishes were so huge we couldn't eat it all. I am not an expert in Lebanese cuisine, so cant rate it per se, only that as something I don't normally eat, I LOVED it and will definitely return.

Eddie's is a hidden gem within the St George area, it's our go to place for quality Lebanese food, festive seasons and birthday celebrations. Service is always impeccable, Eddie, the owner is always around greeting each table, going that extra mile, you'll feel right at home.

Delicious food!. The food here is simply delicious! hubby and I came here for dinner and the service was impeccable. Mixed meat platter is generous and plenty for two, good value. Meat kibbi is the best we have had in Sydney I say. The feeling of the place is just warm and friendly. Highly recommended. Little gem tucked away in Mortdale.

Value for Money!. Good value for money and not trying to be something its not. Just home styled Lebanese cooking. Recommend the banquet if you're going as a group. Be sure to book, it fills up fast.

Good Lebanese but not cheap. Delicious fresh food which we would love to eat more often, but it isn't cheap. Don't think you can get a thrifty quick meal, this is good food with a few options you don't see on every Leb menu. So happy to have a Lebanese restaurant close by in the suburbs so don't go anywhere Eddie!

We've had some fantastic nights at Eddies! The service is attentive and the food is as fresh as it gets. They do a great coffee and sweets in the afternoon too!

Great banquet! Tues to Thursday special 25% off 4 people of more is great. Authentic, generous and friendly service!

Absolutly delicious!. I've always wondered why there are so few Lebanese restaurants in Sydney - its not like there's a shortage of Lebanese people! This dinning experience is one which i will gladly go back again and again as the food was just delicious, the service was brilliant and without this sounding like this is an insider writing this - it's just bloody good! alittle tricky to find if you're not familiar with the area, but well worth the journey! My fav was the Lamb and the chicken!
