Not only the most incredible food but the best service, and the best styling and atmosphere. The seven of us were all so happy with our meals, we can't wait come back and try everything else on the menu! The waiter was so friendly, attentive, and remembered what we were all drinking each time we reordered. Even the chef came out and told the boys about the steak and recommended how to eat it. For someone who isn't usually a big steak fan, it was the best I've ever had and I can't wait to come back and have more than just a pick at my boyfriends plate! I had my 30th birthday here on Sunday afternoon and I couldn't recommend Samson's Paddock highly enough. The Functions Coordinator was helpful through the whole process and service on the day was excellent too - they really looked after us. We reserved an area on the terrace and it was the perfect size for 25 guests. Catering options were flexible and there was no minimum spend - a big plus when you've got a pretty small group and you're on a budget. The small function platters were awesome - the cheese platters especially good! I was allowed to taste the wines by the glass so I knew I was getting wine that I liked. They also let us provide cake (with napkins, plates etc.) for no extra cost. My guests had no parking troubles. Samson's Paddock really is a great little venue for a Summer birthday party. Thanks so much for a memorable birthday guys! It was exactly what I wanted.
Wow, Wow and Bloody Wow. !! Tried the duck and it was out of this world. So many flavours hurled into 1 dish. It is difficult by mere verbal description to describe this hidden tresure of a Restaurant and also to find one to match.
Best service and food around the steak is the best of the best.

We chose Samson’s Paddock on a bit of a whim. I received an email to tell me that it was included in the Entertainment Book, and the pictures looked nice, so I booked. It is in Glyde Street, Mosman Park – an interesting building with comfy armchairs, an upper deck and lots of nooks and crannies. We were seated on a high shared table – which I didn’t mind too much as we had booked fairly late, given the choice I prefer a regular height table.

The food here is fantastic. Hard to go past a mix of entree plates and the whiting has been a staple on many visits. Some good beers on tap and they even have Ord River Rum. Highly recommended.
I came to Samson’s Paddock on a Saturday night for date night with my fiancé. Lovely, cosey, cool vibe and decor. Staff were prompt, friendly and accommodating. We shared the beef carpaccio and Parmesan chips for entree. Both were delicious. My fiancé has the wild boar pasta and I had the duck. The duck was sensational! Wow! We both thoroughly enjoyed our night and highly recommend Samson’s Paddock.
I went for dinner on Wed with my brother and my parents. We started with the pork belly (so tender) and whitting, then the cauliflower and brocolini with the meat platter share plate. The meat was so tender, I liked the veal, waygu (lovely and charred), grass-fed than the grain-fed. We ended our meal with a flourless chocolate cake, black sesame seed creme brulee (unusual) and 4 whiskey truffles! A perfect meal!
This is local place for us. Service is adequate. Food was nice. Wine was great. Its a local and thats whats makes it good! Early dinner done right!

Went to Samsons Paddock a couple of weeks ago with my partner. We booked for 6 pm thinking we'd beat the evening crowd. Wrong. It was already super busy. Guess that's indicative of how good it is. We ordered the House Baked Fusette (that's bread, yes I did have to ask and yes I did feel a little bit silly having to ask) with spiced butter. Make sure you order this. The bread was warm and fresh, crispy on the outside with a lovely soft centre and plenty to share. We then ordered roasted cauliflower which my partner really loved. It came with goats cheese which I'm not a huge fan of (I didn't choose this dish) but overall I still really like this. The cauliflower was a little crunchy still which I love. We also ordered the panko crumbed whiting. This was the stand out dish for me. The fish was perfectly cooked with a lovely, crisp, light crumb. It paired perfectly with the fresh flavours of a daikon salad. We also had the sirloin tasting board. It was really interesting to compare the flavour and textures of veal, grain and grass fed beef and wagyu. All of the steaks were perfectly cooked and lovely eating. It was probably a little too much meat for me. And I kind wishe we'd ordered the Waguy rib finger instead. Guess we'll just have to go back. For dessert we shared the flourless chocolate cake. This was underwhelming and didn't match the standard of the savoury dishes. It was a little on the dry side. The vanilla ice-cream that came with it was top quality though. We loved that the restaurant is really quiet. The tables could have been spaced a little further apart so it felt a bit less like the strangers on the next table were joining you for a meal. But hey, they need to have enough tables to make a buck right?
Excellent dishes that are quite innovative. Really good vibe and attentive service. We had the chips with parmesan & truffle and the roasted cauliflowers with feta which were both great. The wagyu rib fingers were succulent and beautifully marinated, the kim chi worked surprisingly well with the wagyu and it was easily my fav dish of the night. Pork belly was delicious, I was surprised how well the combination of corn, peppers and tamarind worked together with the pork, which was tender and perfectly cooked. Duck breast with parsnip puree and cabbage was good, more 'traditional' in relation to the other dishes we had. Sorbet for dessert was refreshening. Highly recommend.

Had a lovely meal at Samsons Paddock last night. The restaurant has a cozy feel to it, our starters were all excellent- highly recommending the octopus and beetroot dishes. I was told that the steak flight was delicious however it would be good to see an option that wasn't a 400g commitment. Crumbed fish was also quite good and duck was tasty however I found it needed a steak knife to cut it, the normal knife was a little challenging. To finish the meal, the black sesame creme brulee is hard to beat.

We were out for a birthday, celebrating as usual. My mum had given me a cheese toastie before we left to eat at the paddock ( I am a child ), because I am quite a fussy eater. When we arrived the serenity of the avenue was so comforting. The first thing I ordered was the Whiting, and that was just to die for. Though my main reason for writing this review wasthe perfection to which the steaks were cooked. As soon as my tongue touched those delicate pieces of meat, I exploded. The taste was so vibrant, I felt as though I could run for miles. My parents thought I was drunk, even though I cant drink. The tenderness of the meat was equalised by juices that warned your inside like a fire, not in the spicy way. I would recommend any of my friends to go their, the staff are so welcoming and I personally would do anything just to get that same rare feeling again.
Could not fault, food and service were both impeccable. Wagyu ribs and chocolate brownie were the standouts. Highly recommend and will visit again.
Love this place. I love coming here on date night with just the two of us and also with a big group. The dining room is intimate and cosy. The wine list is extensive and delicious. The food - amaze! I have never had octopus as good as the octopus from this place. Accommodating to menu changes. Friendly service. Love it!
Everything we tried was lovely although the serving sizes are somewhat petite. Big hits were the feather light gnocchi and the belly pork, and the two desserts we tried (apple tart and creme brulee) were gorgeous. The cheese board is very good value at $30. Service was prompt and friendly and the venue very attractive. We'll be back.

Samsons’s Paddock is a whisky and wine bar and restaurant located in Mosman Park. The story of Samson’s Paddock started ten years after the Swan Location 83 (where Samson’s Paddock are located today) was first allocated to new settlers in 1831. Not long after Lionel Samson purchased the title, Samson began farming the land and hence, the name “Samson’s Paddock”.
Great food! Highly recommend to everyone passing through Perth. It is an excellent place for dinner with friends. It was all I expected - good food, good service, and a full bar!
Very enjoyable funky space. Great food that suits sharing with a group of friends. Highly recommend the confit duck and wagyu ribs. The chips were very good - perfectly crisp and flavoursome - a must have side. Very thoughtful little extras like toys for the kids. Overall - definitely worth a visit.
As soon as we stepped inside we were greeted by the beautifully rustic interior of the venue, decorated with brick, dark wood, and wine displays that just blew us away. The camera was out before we sat down! To make things better, we had accidentally arrived right in the middle of happy hour and ½ priced drinks are our favourite kind of surprise! Needless to say we were impressed before we even saw a menu and excited to try out some dishes!

Although it was a Friday lunch, the restaurant was not crowded, the service was personal, timely and very proficient (thank you Lucy) and the overall ambience was most appreciated. Food was impeccable, served in a timely fashion and we ordered one of each offering on the menu. All dishes drew appreciation and the serves we just right for four to share. We chose all the sweets - again excellent to share. Good coffee and to top it all off, a not-inexpensive! French wine, decanted at the table and served in perfect glassware.
We were introduced by wives who had similar encouraging experiences. This was our second visit. Even better than the first. Re-booked for visit #3.

Recently, I've been visiting some friends in Perth. They said the menu is new... I don't know about that but everything was delicious. They have great wine collection. The staff was polite and friendly. I really loved the time we spent there. Highly recommend it!
Awesome food and great service. Pork and Octopus where my favourites. Had a friend over from the Eastern States and took him here as it has a great atmosphere to be able to chat with friends.The staff where helpful and attentive without being too pushy. Asked how many dishes we needed and they were spot on. Servings were generous and we shared the chocolate desert and a truffle each followed by a coffee. Chocolate dessert was to die for. Cant wait until the weather warms up a bit so the outdoor area can be enjoyed. It is great having such a good venue as a local and would recommend it to anyone who wants a tasty meal. No complaints about any of the dishes and even though my friend doesn't eat red meat there was plenty to choose from. Will definitely be going back.
Really enjoyed my birthday dinner here. Free drink for the birthday boy/ girl is a sweet gesture. Bread with hommus and feta was a very tasty starter. It's only hommus but tasted really nice! Grilled octopus was tender just like cheese, best I've had in Perth. Oyster blade beef roast - delish. Choc brownie - delish. Sesame creme brulee was nice but only recommended if you are a huge fan of the strong flavors of black sesame seeds. Overall an excellent meal
Oh my! This was a delightful little surprise! The food was absolutely delicious. Grilled octopus, I swear I've never has any other more tender than what they are serving here! Boar ragu fettuccine was also delicious.
The only let down for me is that they have soooo many whiskeys but no license to serve whiskey cocktails. That's my little suggestion. Would definitely earn then the 5 stars.

Our family of 6 had dinner this week. Great looking restaurant - inside & out. All meals were excellent - especially the Wagyu rib fingers, the Lamb backstrap & the Rankin Cod. Presentation was very good. Service was generally very good - meals came without delay - except occasionally hard to get staff attention when placing top up orders. Highly recommended. Hubby and I came here for dinner on a cold Saturday night and enjoyed the sight of the roaring fire as we walked through the front door. I love the look of this venue - fairy type lights out the front, different rooms throughout as I assume it is an old house, lovely ambience. We also like the idea of the alfresco area and look forward to returning in the warmer months for a Sunday lunch outside. Our waiter was friendly and helpful as we took our time deciding on dishes. I decided to have two small plates - gnocchi and the wagu rib fingers (both delicious), and hubby the main fish with side chips (waiter recommend the fish as the best he's ever had and it was pretty good but at $36 it didn't come with anything so ordering a side dish was in order). All to come at the same time. All dishes came out together except for the fish. We waited, waited.....no fish so decided to share the 3 dishes we did have otherwise he would be eating his fish on his own as I would have finished. Finally our waiter noticed the fish hadn't arrived and it arrived soon after. Lucky the dishes were possible to share as the timing of their delivery was off. As was the dessert and coffee - we ordered a dessert each and one coffee. The coffee came out before the dishes. We thought that was strange as would expect the coffee after dessert but perhaps that is just us. So another timing issue in our eyes. But we really like this place. I saw on the shelves board games were available and we were seated near another fire place and it was lovely to hear the crackle and pop of the wood. Hubby's now thinking of having his birthday celebration here in winter as it's pretty groovy with good food and reasonable prices for what you get. BTW the brownie and sticky date were a generous size and delicious!

This place is amazing, loved it! So spacious, we went with a group of 9 and they were very accommodating. Great wine list and the food was delicious. Highlight were the pork belly. My only complaint is that it's not amazing for gluten free options but enough to get by.
The restaurant was a really great hangout place. It was quite big, spacious and allow diners to sit indoors or outdoors. If you're a wine and whisky drinker, you'll be quite happy with the extensive list that they have in their menu. Our first dish was the Salmon and Ginger Rice. The salmon was seared lightly and accompanied with avocado and sugar snow peas. The whole thing was so delectable and moreover, the presentation was so beautiful.

Went here with some family friends and it was amazing! The staff were friendly, the food was simplistic in nature but tasty and the atmosphere was great as well! The outdoor area looked awesome and they even let me play on their piano!
Went with a group of 6 for dinner on a Saturday night. Cannot fault it. We shared a selection of small meals, all delicious but stand outs were pork belly, wagyu beef, gnocchi and arancini. Service was attentive and meals came out quickly. Highly recommend.
What a fantastic little place with a lovely rustic relaxed feeling. Went for pre dinner drinks for my daughters 21st. They were so obliging to us arranging a lovely large table for all our guests. Shame we didn't know they served food as our meal across the road was dreadful. Will certainly be back.
I have loved this restaurant since it opened and it never fails to impress. It has a relaxed, fun environment combined with excellent food and great wine choices.
Popped in here with a few mates on a rainy night. The venue has an old feel to it, with modern decorative touches. We shared some appetizers and mains between the four of us and found all were presented well and decent tasting. Would love to visit here when the sun's out so we can take advantage of the outdoor area.
This place is almost flawless. Sensational meals, friendly staff and nice environment. We paid ~$130 for 5 share plates, 2 desserts and a number of drinks which is very reasonable. This place was quiet on a Saturday night... definitely a hidden gem. Only recommendation is for cold water on offer rather than room temp table water.
I had the pleasure of dining here with my wife on 21 September, prior to our attendance at Harbour Theatre that evening.
The food was absolutely superb from the Thai Street Sausage to the Sirloin Tasting Board and everything in between.

Located on a site that has been used as a watering hole for locals since 1831, the current Samson’s Paddock has been in operation since 2014 and serves lunch and dinner six days a week.

Six of us had dinner her last night and on the whole, it was a good experience although there were a few gliches. Food in general was very tasty and well cooked but pork shanks could have done with longer cooking time as the meat didn't exactly fall off the bone. Beef short ribs were very good, however there was nothing else on the plate and it would have been helpful if the waitress had mentioned this, after all, who wants a main course with nothing but meat and a little sauce on the plate? All of the share dishes we had for entree were top quality, especially octopus and arancini balls. Desserts varied in quality though - not that impressed with the Oreo Cheesecake, too claggy. Service was rather hit and miss - we ended up with three waitresses and things got a little muddly along the way and we didn't feel things in this department were very heartfelt. However, having said this, because of the mixups, our desserts were complimentary, so full credit to them for this as in my experience, this doesn't often happen. Would like to visit a second time as generally the food was very good and perhaps we will work the menu a bit better this time.
We visited Samsons Paddock for the first last night , a group of 4 of us, we had the sirloin tasting plate, asparagus , arancini, beetroot salad , chips and potatoes the food was soooo good topped off with a beautiful red wine , we all loved it ,we then followed that up with the pear tart, Oreo cheesecake and the sticky date pudding, we couldn't fault anything , food was amazing , service and ambience was lovely , we will def be back, thanks for a lovely night 😋
Hubby and I enjoyed a lovely meal..produce fresh and delicious, good service. Desserts less sweet than expected- sticky date pudding was more a date cake with a drizzle of sauce, pear tarte needed more flavour too, but still pleasant. We will be back!
Had a delicious risotto here. Everyone else also enjoyed their meals. The place was very busy when we were there but service was still good. Will be back. It's nice and cosy in winter.

What a fabulous place. 8 of us visited this place on Mothers Day . Fantastic atmosphere, and vibe. Very relaxed and a lovely fire place on a cold day. Service was outstanding and food was amazing.Would recommend the chicken for main and also the lamb was a hit. But to be honest, all of us really enjoyed all of the dishes. The Octupus for entree and Rissotto were delightful.The desserts were huge and very tasty. ( The sticky date was the winner). I will return to this place and recommend it to all, love it, it was also not too expensive .
Only went for wine and sat out the back which we had all to ourselves. Great hosts and wine and the set up works well. Food looked great too!!

A friend suggested Samsons paddock for dinner.
Charming enough place, homely feel with fireplaces and a mix of lounge spaces and dining tables. Nice little out door section too. Very casual and relaxed.
Wine list is reasonably priced and beer selection is decent with an offering of 4 draft beers. The Malbec was nice.
As it was a group of guys our dishes were mainly meat.
Thai sausage was simple but tasty, had a little bit of heat but not too much to offend the more spice sensitive members of the group. Well cooked and decent size.
We had the wagu fingers, sauce was not too overpowering to hide the taste of the meat however, they were over cooked. Could not pick them up with a fork as they were so tender. Whilst some people might value that, I felt it was a tad over done.
Arachini was decent, good flavor but nothing that's worth drawing too much attention to. Aranchini is Aranchini. The chef was nice enough to send a second batch that was slightly better than the first.
We tried the beef short ribs. Great quality meat for the cut that it is, well cooked and sauce was well balanced.
We tried the fried chat potatos. Lacked a bit of seasoning and not as crispy as they could be.
The asparagus and beans was a slightly smaller portion that expected.
We tried the paddock platter. All great cuts of meat, very well cooked. Needed a wider variety of sauces or garnishes but other wise good value for money.
Over all it was a good dining experience except for the fact that there was a slow output from kitchen. The potatos came out early whilst the meats came later and the asparagus last. Dishes were eaten as they came out rather that being served as entrees and mains. That was my only gripe.
I think with a bit of refinement this place will come a staple for meat lovers who need an alternative to rockpool.
Deserts were really enjoyable, highlights being the sticky date pudding and the cheese cake.
Will try again in a month or so.

New noria ciabatta rosemary sea salt and garlic olive oil.
Grilled octopus, basil pesto, sun dried tomatoes,
Beetroot salad, walnuts, goats cheese, basil, mixed leaves, quinoa.

Have been following this restaurant on Instagram for quite some time now and they are also in the entertainment book.
One day we received an email from the owner/manager Nick and how they just got this new chef and how they’d like us to come in a try their new menu.
I’m glad we did because what we tried was exceptional. Everything we ordered that night was cooked to perfection and everything was flavoured very well.
For entreé we ordered the arancini with mushroom, spinach, feta & truffle and the chorizo, red bean & jalapeño croquettes with guacamole.
The chef also gave us a sample of the wagyu rib fingers with kimchi, these were absolutely delicious and the meat just melted in your mouth.
For mains we ordered the Boneless half chicken with parsnip puree and mushrooms and the grainfed lamb backstop lamb belly with gratin and crispy shallots.
Have to say the chicken was superb and moist and juicy and full of flavour. And the lamb was soft and juicy and very well seasoned. The jus was amazing too.
We were so full that we had no room for dessert but they brought out just a half serve of the Coffee Toffee dessert. It was so good and we managed to eat it (there’s always a 2nd stomach for dessert).
After dinner we met chef Georgi who left us try these chocolate truffles, they were so soft and morish. We then had a good chat to Nick.
We will definitely return to this restaurant, the friendly service and the food is amazing. Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough.
LOVE this place, if you enjoy chilled out, fast casual dining, you will love this place. My 2 friends and i were out late on tuesday and just peckish for a small bite and this place just delivered everything we wanted. Great relaxed vibes, nice light and easy finger food and great list of wines and beer. Friendly chilles Aroma and having 8 years of experience in the industry this one hits a close rating to my favourite Chin Chin's in melbourne.
Samson’s Paddock has been on my endless wishlist of places to visit for as long as I’ve been following them on social media, which has been quite a while now. I’ve longingly looked at photos of their food and in my head kept saying I really have to get there one day! Sometimes you just don’t get around to doing these things and for me Mosman Park seemed that little bit further from home, but hey a weekend drive can be delightful! When I was contacted by the Samson’s Paddock team about their new chef, Georgi Partenov, and was asked if I’d like to come for a visit I was so pleased! I was going to get to try their amazing food at long last!

had a very nice seafood risotto here. you can tell from the quality of food coming out that the kitchen knows what they are doing. staff are friendly.
Fabulous Sunday lunch, great atmosphere,drinks list and the food was well executed. Enjoyed the Samsons meat platter however could have been a little rarer but probably our fault as we didn't ask for rare! Look forward to returning.

We were the first to arrive for Friday lunch. There are several different places to sit so we chose the garden area out the back. We ordered drinks and perused the menu, which was punctuated with food and drink splodges. A tad off-putting but we'll forgive them that. The drinks came out quickly and we ordered. The food came out in good time and was excellent. We shared everything as we often do. Coconut crusted tiger prawns (brilliant); Beer battered chips with truffle oil and parmesan (sensational); Quesadilla with chilli con carne, Gouda, guacamole and sour cream (excellent); and pork, leek and cheddar croquette with pepperonata, buffalo mozzarella, eggplant caviar and kipfler (beautiful). The chips had plenty of truffle flavour and were just lightly battered, enough to make them really crispy. The prawns had a light tang of chilli and I loved the crust of shredded coconut. All the food was beautifully done, with great flavours and textures. They have a very good drinks list with some unusual beers and wines. One of our more memorable food experiences of recent times. We'll return.

We went on a Sunday night, it was very quiet. Service was friendly but not intrusive. We had the new norcia ciabatta, the chicken kebab, the whiting fillets and the coconut tiger prawns. For dessert we had the panacotta and the caprese cake. Everything was delicious! Particularly enjoyed the whiting fillets, they weren't too oily and the chips they came with were nice and crispy. The tiger prawns had some kick to them which was nice. The desserts were both delicious as well. The sauce on the panacotta really cut through the sweetness of it. However it was a bit overpriced for the amount of food we received. We used the entertainment book, which brought it down to a more agreeable price. Would probably done here again.
Really good food..They haven't changed the menu much? Food menu was not huge, but what they delivered were nailed. Lightly crumbed whiting fish and chips were so crispy. But chips and 3 pieces sand whiting fillets, two rocket leaves and aioli $28. I enjoyed the food, i think the price includes location... Service was good too, with small miscommunication, but it was ok range.
Ambience was great, the outdoor back yard would be great during summer. Inside dining area was a bit tiny, hard to move around between table sometimes.
It hard to find parking on busy weekends.
After our boozey sake sampling night at Tsunami’s Supersake Festival, we ventured across the road to Samsons Paddock for a feed before driving home. In case you were wondering, we didn’t end up sampling 40 shots of sake in the end. It got a bit much! Here is some proof that we still had 2 wristbands full 😉
Sublime! Loved the share concept. These guys really know what they are doing and cook what they cook well. This is evident with their one page menu - perfect. And then several pages for an extensive list of quality wines and beverages - I am in heaven! Gnocchi, beetroot salad and fish mocheco was amazing. Pannacotta delish. Retired to the Chesterfield lounge in front of the fire place for some Humgarian Tokay. Thank you team, this is the classy place that we need in Perth, that is not in the middle of a bustling FIFO-riddled noisy night hub, but more a gem to be found. And treasured in a quiet street.
I dont usually write review especially to those sub par or average places. But i have to write review for Samson paddock because the food was spectacularly good!! From truffle fries, polenta fritters to risotto with brie, they all ticked the boxes. Very highly recommended
More to explore.. We decided to go to Samsons Paddock because my dining companion really didn't want to eat Japanese. What a find! It was a warm summer's evening so we decided to site at a table on the footpath. We had been shown the back courtyard, but it was quite busy and so we decided the footpath would be quieter!
We had a meat platter to share to start with. I can't remember what my partner ordered but I ordered fish and chips. Unfortunately the chef decided that not only should the fish be battered but the chips should be as well. It made for a very greasy, fried dinner rather than a yummy piece of crummy battered fish and chips. I was so disappointed but would like to go back to see if they can come up with some I love.
We were really happy with the service and their interesting wine list.
I enjoyed the romantic atmosphere, try and get a spot by the fire in winter if you can. I recommend only going for the amazing desserts though as the tapas and mains were ordinary and over priced for what they were.
I may have gotten a little distracted by the wobbliness of my saffron pannacotta with hazelnut ganache, praline and raspberry jelly... it was so satisfying!

Great place to spend your time. I had a nice experience there. It's a lovely place and I will visit it again with my friends. The staff was overloaded but did their best to serve us as as quick as possible. I appreciate their politeness and willingness to provide a good service. The food is delicious and yes I like it.
Not cheap but a really fun spot. Came here with three other people last week. We had a ball - great atmosphere, reasonably priced drinks, good service and really yummy food. We had a bunch of the starters (the polenta is not to be missed) and then the steak tasting plate and the jerk salmon. Portion sizes were good, but it wasn't a cheap night out. It was delicious though and we had heaps of fun.
Really loved the whiskey selection, and will definitely be back to lounge in front of the fires out the back.
Love this place. I've been here a few times now and always have a great time. The atmosphere is great, food amazing and beer cold. The service is fast and friendly - the staff are fun. I could sit outside all day on a nice day. And usually do. Definitely got to check this place out if you haven't already.

Nice. Been there twice for food now. It's OK. What *is* good is the vibe of the place. And the managers are very friendly and make you feel welcome. More of a place to come and have a drink with some niblies on the side.

Had a great time at Samsons paddock last night. This is such a fabulous addition to the neighbourhood. A wonderful setup, design, menu, concept and style. The one complaint we had was handled so well by the new staff. This place has huge potential and will be s hit this summer.
Great food, atmosphere and service!. I've been to Samson's Paddock a couple of times now, and both we're thoroughly enjoyable experiences. The staff are friendly and attentive from when you step foot in the door. Food is excellent- my favourite so far is the chicken salad with strawberry reduction salad, arancini - and the jerk Jamaican swordfish - amazing!! Such a great way to spend a sunny afternoon enjoying a very comfortable atmosphere. Can't wait to go back!
Worth a visit. Tasty snacks, great vibe, but the service needs working on. Try and sit near the door for endless amusement watching people trying to negotiate the weird green button arrangement - what's that all about? ?

Wonderful upgrade!. After being a regular diner at Unravelled I was very eagerly awaiting the arrival of Samsons Paddock, I'd heard so many rumours of the plans and was pleasantly surprised when the change was even better than I imagined!
My friend and I dined at Samsons last night, after being welcomed by the friendly staff we were showed to our table and given, what has to be the cleverest menu I've ever seen. A book on the history of Samsons Paddock and descriptions of menu items.
We ordered the rosemary ciabatta, beef cheeks and swordfish. For desert we went for the mud pie. All the food was cooked and presented to perfection! Very tender beef cheeks, and light and refreshing swordfish :-)
If I was to find a fault it would be the pricey wines, however this is made up by the extensive range both by the bottle and the glass.
I think this will become a regular of ours, being close to the train station and a very good looking venue to relax and enjoy a tasty meal :-)
They've done very well with this change :-)

WOW!!Great place, warm atmosphere and yummy food!!. My husband and i decided to visit Samson's paddock last night, being a Saturday we knew we had to head down early to get a table. As soon as you walk in you feel like you have been warped back in time to the explorer days,love the rustic decor and the two beautiful wood fireplaces outside really add to the atmosphere. To top it off there was a live piano player playing some really cool blues and jazz! We were welcomed by a friendly young lady who took us to a table outside on the upper terrace. Our server was so friendly and even tho they were obviously busy she had time to explain everything we asked and even gave us some fun facts we didn't know about some dishes :) We had some lovley arancini balls and shared a rissotto. My husband had some kind of imported german beer on tap (which he loved) and I had the house shiraz! Thoroughly impressed with the service and funky atmosphere, considering the place has only been open one week i think it was a fantastic experience. We noticed as we were leaving people tapping their feet to the piano man and a line of people waiting to get in..best night out for dinner in yonks. We will certainly be regulars! Yay for Samsons, just what Mosman needed!
Chef and I dine at newbie “Samsons Paddock” in Mosman Park when it was still finding its feet. The char grilled porterhouse tasting board ($59), is fit for any carnivore, with a whopping four different types of steak. The tasting notes advise you to eat the steaks in a particular order – veal, then the grain fed steak, the grass fed and finally the wagu beef.
Lovely venue with great atmosphere and amazing food. There is a lovely outdoor seated area, an indoor area and a pet friendly area too! The food is great, really well presented and the steak tasting plate in particular is fantastic. A really great way to suss out whether you like grass or grain fed steak more! The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and made the experience even better. Thoroughly recommend a visit if you’re ever here!

We have been to Samson's Paddock a handful of times for lunch/dinner and have loved it each and every time! Falling in love with the natural decor of the venue and the food .. to die for! The whisky and wine list is also a big winner for us!
We loved it so much that we couldn't think of a more perfect place to get married!
Abbie handled the majority of planning with us and was beyond helpful! Meeting with us on days off or before opening, to answer all the questions we had. Our wedding was a surprise to our guests and everyone ensured the secret was kept right up until the moment we surprised them!
Mitch was the one running the day, along with his amazing team, and everything ran so perfectly! I have not stopped hearing about how amazed all of guests were by your team!
Food was exceptional, as always! Drinks chosen in our package were enjoyed by all!
So thank you to everyone at Samson's Paddock, for providing the most incredible service for our day and for every other visit we have day : )

Had a fantastic meal at Sampson’s Paddock during the week. The duck breast was out of this world delicious and can highly recommend the broccolini salad & wagyu ribs too. Lovely outdoor area with wood fire & heaters above each table. Can’t wait to come back & try more menu items!
Lovely service and delicious food. Next time I want a pot of that chimichurri type sauce that comes with the octopus, to dip everything in, and to take home with me to eat forever. Love.
This is a very special restaurant with amazing service and most delicious dishes, very chilled romantic vibe. Kind of don’t want to give high review cause I want this place to be my best kept secret for anytime I want to go out with my special loved ones but seriously from the time you enter to the time you leave, you would not find anything wrong/bad to comment about. Went here for a birthday dinner. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food is interesting fusion of flavours. Had the roasted cauliflower which was spicy reminiscent of curry, the stracciatella salad, kingfish with finger lime which was fresh and had a lovely Avocado dressing, the sirloin tasting plate was a hit. The pork belly was amazing and had a sweet sticky tamarind sauce to go with the amazing crunchy crackle
