Review Cafe Mosman - Mosman

Michelle Lacasse
Amazing! Turned up at 2pm on a Wednesday, greeted by a lovely Czech waitress with a massive smile as I came toward the cafe, offered a table that she wiped down again for me, took my coffee and food order right away, coffee came quickly and tasted amazing…legit, in my top 5 coffees ever. While I’m waiting for my food I see her chatting nicely to the elderly customers, quickly clearing tables as people leave, checking occasionally that people aren’t “looking” for her in her service area, and my food came literally within 10mins. For some context I had originally tried to go to Chaos cafe where they wouldn’t serve me because they were closing - not even take away - but their hours say to 4pm. Chaos waitress recommended Cafe Mosman and I’m so glad I took her advice. I’m a local and I think this will be my regular from now on.

The experience was very good. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I received a coffee within 3 minutes of a big line up. ☺ Fantastic!

One of the few cafe that opens later in the afternoon to get a bite or decent coffee. They have good sandwiches and current winter special with Lamb Shoulder is fantastic!

Really like the ambiance at this place, waiters were friendly even though it was quite busy. We were a bit disappointed by the food. It’s not bad, but the açai bowl was a bit minimal and the presentation was too sloppy. The salmon on the eggs Benedict was very salty, and the balance in the dish was off.

First time visiting Cafe Mosman was during the ease of COVID lockdown. I can see why the restaurant is always busy. I enjoyed a burger for lunch and the ingredients were fresh and the meat was juicy. Service was friendly and attentive and prices were pretty standard cafe prices. They have plenty of outdoor seating, but the seats do get taken pretty quick. Date of visit: 23 June 2020

Perfect, perfect, perfect! From long time ago. Now even updated/better menu. Vine is excellent addition. Prices very reasonable. Portions size reasonable. I will come so many times more, to check whole menu.

Our first stop was Cafe Mosman after flying into Sydney and it was perfect! The food was incredible- homemade and delicious, the coffee was just as good, if not better than Melbourne and the service was first class- friendly, attentive and professional! Definitely our best cafe and dining experience and will be visiting Cafe Mosman every time we’re back in Sydney.

Been back within 24 hours since my first visit. The fresh fruit & veg drink was delicious and a decent size for the price. Smoked salmon eggs benedict was nice. Piccolo latte was decent.

Cafe Mosman is a casual neighbourhood cafe along Military Road. The busy cafe is separated into three sections, two outdoor dining area facing an inner courtyard and Military Road and an indoor area featuring wooden-tile walls, table tops and benches. The menu offers typical Italian-style brunches and lunches.<br/><br/>I ordered a mushroom risotto this afternoon. There were nothing much to complain about risotto - soft, thick flavourful rice mixed with garden mushrooms from the supermarkets. Then again, there isn’t anything exceptional which may motivate me to return. Perhaps the cute server may change my mind. We’ll see.

Relaxing, friendly cafe in the heart of Mosman where the coffee is good and the meals are tasty. Great for people with little ones as there is ample room out the back under the lovely shady tree for the kids to safely run around. So popular with parents going to story time at the library or locals looking for a chilled out place to unwind. Good pastas, risottos, wraps and cakes. Yummy milkshakes too.

Cafe' Mosman is a wonderful place off Military Road, the breakfast selections are wonderful, we definitely recommend the salmon benedict as well as the eggs florentine. The service is friendly and prompt, it's the perfect start to a Sunday morning. It is always busy so on weekends arrive early if you'd like breakfast, they do have ample seating both in and outdoors, it's a casual cafe' where the food is good and people smile.

Fantastic coffee, cottage style atmosphere, friendly staff. Cafe Mosman has a well rounded menu with big breakfasts to gluten free options. The Cafe has cozy indoor and outdoor seats, perfect for a winter day. Oh, and their coffee is ridiculously life giving.

Green pea risotto was first class and very filling. Accompanied by fresh juice and good coffee, a very pleasant place for lunch. Value for money across the menu and very attentive friendly service. A must in Mosman amongst some average alternative choices.

We had breakfast at Cafe Mosman, I would definitely recommend it. Cafe Mosman uses fairtrade and organic ingredients, it has great coffee, a lovely atmosphere with tables out the front, inside and a little outdoor area out the back. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I had the special of Chorizo, baked eggs, feta and baked beans with a side of avocado salsa and olive sourdough, which was absolutely delicious. My boyfriend had the ham, onion and mushroom omelette which was super yum! The also have almond milk as an option, it tastes home made aswell! Definitely give Cafe Mosman a go, we will definitely be back :)

I have had my eye on this established for a while now, but it wasn't until this Saturday when I finally paid Cafe Mosman a visit. .. and boy was I happy that I did. Being a big fan of coffee for its taste and smell, but not so much for the caffeine I choose to go for a decaffeinated coffee quite often and this one was without a doubt the best decaf I have ever tasted in my life... so smooth and tender and more importantly not BITTER as they usually are compare to the normal coffee. The servis was very efficient and polite despite the fact that we got there in the busiest time and with our beloved puppy too. Food was also very nice and arrived on our table within minutes. Well what else can I say, than to use one of the most famous movie line ever: I'LL BE BACK. .. Cafe Mosman.

Cafe Mosman is situated in the heart of Mosman, between the Public Library and Military Road. It’s one of the few places in Mosman where you can actually sit outside, which is great when the weather permits and if for example you are out with young children who need to stretch their little legs. There are tables at the front and at the backside and inside as well. The cafe has a nice atmosphere but the staff could be a little friendlier...

Tucked away from the road in a little courtyard near Mosman Library is Cafe Mosman. It changed hands in 2012 and has become really child friendly. There are plenty of highchairs, the accommodate most food requests for little ones and the courtyard provides some room to move for active toddlers.

Shocking Customer Service. Tall Guy with Glasses best avoided if you have a complaint as he is Rude , Passive aggressive , clearly does not get good customer service and is intimidating .

Breakfast of open omelette with goats cheese, bacon and tomato on the side, shared. With extra hot flat white coffee, a great way to start the day.

Cafe Mosman is my favourite breakfast place in town. The food is excellent, well priced and quickly and professionally served. They always have plenty of papers and don't rush you out. Highly recommended.

Just had breakfast at cafe Mosman. Another fine feed with excellent service. Even though it was very busy the service was still spot on as was the food.

I visited this business for breakfast in the hope to receive a delicious croissant. What I observed was unclean practices. <br/><br/>After raising my concern with the owner about cleanliness he advised 'it's not possible to have clean hands all day'<br/><br/>At that point in time I asked him if it was possible to make a fresh croissant with gloves. <br/><br/>The staff member then put on gloves without disposing the contaminated product and continued preparing. <br/><br/>I left.
