Review Thai Nine - Mosman

This is by far our favourite Thai restaurant the food is amazing, plenty of fresh vegetables and lots of meat. The price is excellent value for the quality of the food. Service is excellent, staff are very friendly (not over the top )very polite and efficient. I could not think of one negative...only it is not open during lock down and we are missing it!🥺

Absolute no words to describe their food. Fresh, authentic and tasty. Great dining experience as well. Overall satisfying.

Beware. Had dinner at Thai Nine tonight,, When we received the bill we realised that they have changed their BYO policy - fine print on their menu but still not clear. There were three diners, Two had still wine and three shared sparkling. They now charge 3 x $5 / head for sparkling and 2 x $5 head for still wine. We paid $ 25 for corkage because we had one bottle of sparkling and one bottle of still wine, Ridiculous. If we had 2 bottles of still wine it would have been $15.. Sorry I don’t get it. Just a rip off. The other rip off is that if one person at the table wants some steamed rice for $3.50 everyone at the table has to pay $3.50 even if you don’t eat it. So if there was a table of 8 and only one person had rice you would be charged 8 x $3.50 = $28. So you are better if only one person wants rice to order the red rice.

Thai with the staple food like pad thai or you can order their fusion dishes. Happy with the flavours of all that we ordered. The best Tom Yum soup I have had. Lovely ambience to dine in. One of the most Covid safe restaurants I have seen.

Despite the plethora of Thai places in Mosman, Thai nine stands out. It’s not for the budget conscious, however the quality of the food is exceptional. Try the banana flower salad which is both aesthetically beautiful and tastes like heaven. Even though you can order take out, eating in is preferable for the full presentation, and attentive service.

The food here is just outstanding. Not your typical Thai restaurant, this food is so very creative in textures and flavours, beautifully presented. I have eaten here a number of times and they never cease to impress me even when the restaurant is 100% full, the food and service are superb.
