Delicious food. My mother had a bento box and I had some teriyaki chicken and rice. Miso soup served as well with refrigerated water. All meals were delicious and service was quick and professional.

Small and cosy restaurant and you may need to book Can’t nail my favourite dish but do love the salmon lovers bento box 🍱 twice cooked pork and the cooked salmon or maybe the large sashimi bowl just to name a few.....😛😛

Very disappointing. The online menu says mains come with rice and miso - BUT what they don't tell you is that if you order online you do not get these items. You only get them if you order by phone! This is not written anywhere. So I paid $29 for a piece of salmon and few vegies. Very unhappy - terrible value for money and also misleading.

We got hungry on the way back from the zoo and decided an impromptu stop by Mosman. Most of the place were closed so we found ourselves wondering around the street. We stumbled upon this cosy restaurant by accident. Was surprised by the taste and quality of the food. Salmon salad was fresh, Beef tataki was amazing, seafood gyoza 🥟 was a delight and left us wanting more. Teriyaki Angus beef was delicious! Even when place was half full, service is prompt and friendly. Would recommend if around the area.

Had an excellent meal consisting of California rolls, a Teriyaki Salmon Don and a lemon, lime and bitters, all delicious! Edit: Went back months later and enjoyed another serving of california rolls plus a cooked tuna and avocado hand roll!

Quality and humble selection of food, definitely recommend for a good Japanese eat. Love the small restaurant vibes like in Japan. The staff were friendly and had good covid practices. Plum wine 👌🏻

Ordered home delivery at 1810 on a Friday night. Delayed and no answer to numerous (25) phone calls. Forced to visit restaurant directly at 1930, and finally received order at 1955, however what we have ordered doesn’t look appetizing one bit. So disappointed after reading the reviews online and the food was below average. Spent $96 for two people and will never be back again, not to mention the 6 small piece squid offering for $14! Proceed with caution.

Had been craving Japanese food for the longest time and my visit to Ogenki definitely satisfied it. The salmon nigiri was light and fresh, served with wasabi and pickled ginger on the side. Loved the filling in the pork gyozas but would've liked a little more crispiness on the skin. Twice pork belly was scrumptious and saucy. Would definitely return!
