Review The Little French Patisserie - Mosman

I ordered a large sour cherry tart and 4 chocolate eclairs for a party. One of the party guests found a whole cherry pit in the tart while chewing. This was so embarrassing and harmful as that guest could have broken a tooth. The tart was also not remotely as good as it was years ago. This used to be my staple patisserie but the standard across many of its products have dropped over the last few years.

Nice little French patisserie . Fantastic beautiful sausage rolls. Cakes & Pies look great also handmade pre-made baguette rolls .ham and cheese. poached chicken and such prices are very reasonable. Well made coffee. The bread looks rally good. Will try that next time.

Possibly the worst service I have received at any cafe ever… came in for a pie the lady behind the counter was very disinterested. After asking which pies they had left she mumbled some incoherent babble and when I asked her to repeat she just pointed at the board and I said is that what you have to which she nodded. I asked for for a chicken pie paid and realised the pie was stone cold not ideal to serve someone a stone cold pie. This was put in the microwave after some convincing. Will not be back ever.

Had a smoked Turkey Sandwich for 8$ and was still starving after eating it … maybe add more ingredients … it is not worth the price the way it is now. I am not sure what is French about this patisserie. The bread was fine, staff didn’t look very enthusiastic and overall the patisserie looks a bit old and dirty. Won’t go again, there are much better places in the area where I can have my breakfast

I just had this cake which was brought by our friends, it really is the best cake I ever had. I called my friend after I had a lived just to find out where did they get this cake. It is simple, elegant and all the flavors enhances each other and then created a prioritized taste. The shop is a bit far from where I am leaving but I would definitely order my birthday cake there and probably for my son.

Best lemon meringue tart I have ever had. When I think about lemon meringue tart, this is the place to get it. Have been going there for many years. Everything I tried is really good, including the savouries.

This is a wonderful place with so many beautiful treats you won't know what to order first. They even have fresh sandwiches if you'd like lunch.

A Parisian friend who lives in Sydney told us about the Little French Patisserie in Mosman on the North Shore – very traditional and great quality.

Amazing food. Berry pastries are fantastic. The croissants good too. Crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Their ham rolls on sourdough are excellent too. And basically everything in the right display as you walk in is amazing. Oh and the pies and sausage rolls are among the best in Mosman. You can also get orangina here.

Oh my. As much as I enjoy a sweet treat I am far from a patisserie diehard however the ladies of the tribe are hardened in this space and over the years I have sampled many and varied a pastry morsel. The Little French is a cut way above the very masses. Maybe for the first time, what is on offer tastes as good or maybe even better than it looks. And they look damn good. Colourful and complex creations provide a variety of distinct flavours that in ordinary times would be lost in a sea of sweetness. Not often a $7 slice of something seems like fair value. Joyful stuff.
