Review Provecho - Mosman

The service and decor of this place is great but food is pretty average. Not very authentic compared to other Mexican restaurants (tastes like a white person made it cause it’s so bland) but on its own it’s pretty cool. Might come again for some drinks.

Horrible service, dry reheated food, drinks were boring and lacked an ounce of creativity, no attention to the customer, we weren’t even given cutlery or plates for share dishes, I had to take a napkin and cutlery from another table. Beans in the 4 dips share plate were really dry. Tomatoes sauces tasted like tomatoes blended with only water. Being from Mexico the food was almost insulting. I would give 0 stars if I could.

Love the food specially the queso dip!! Definitely recommended but remember the portions are on the larger side and quite filling!

I've had real Mexican food, amazing Mexican food, and now this. Hate to say it but the food was quite disappointing. My chicken combo meal was very bland and lacking flavour. The chicken really wasn't any better than we'd cool at home. The beef meals were ok but nothing more than that. Felt like the meals took quite a while to arrive too but not worth the wait. My son wanted to go because of Cinco de Mayo (May 5), I guess we thought maybe there would be something to acknowledge it but nothing - in fairness maybe our mistake thinking it's a thing?! Hadn't been for about 20 years and it hasn't changed much. Sadly won't be rushing back.

I had a very good evening with great food to match. I ordered the beef enchilada and wow.. it was really good. I had pretty good Mexican in LA last year. And while I can't speak for all dishes on their menu - Montezuma's enchilada was in the similar league. Cool, casual and fun Mexican theme restaurant with friendly Latino waitresses. I'll be back!

Highly recommended. Good Mexican food. Nice atmosphere. Surprisingly easy to have a conversation even though the decor is mostly hard surface (this comment is aimed at people my age and above - 55).

Used to love montezuma’s when i was a kid but tbh the food is really average. The queso fundido is smooth and creamy instead of being cheesy and gooey and melty. The nachos was a soggy mess with really average flavours. The taco was sitting on a bed of lettuce which caused one side to become extremely soggy. The enchiladas was ok. I quickly remembered why I stopped coming here. Service was good.

Ate here as a family of 4 on a Saturday night. The place was very busy and had a great atmosphere. Even though it was busy, we were served promptly and didn't have to wait long at all for our meals to be brought out. The kids loved their beef nachos and we thoroughly enjoyed our beef and chicken fajitas. The food was really fresh and hot. Don't forget to sign up to their birthday club. You get one main meal free on your birthday.
