Review Three Beans Mosman - Mosman

Absolutely horrible service. Coffee is good unfortunately. I have insisted going there for months. People serving are inattentive and rude. They several times passed people in front of the cue and just don’t care. Also, they do not get the most basic thing in coffee which is paper cups. They were out of large cups for two weeks. And their cups always leak. See picture.

Always a favourite for Sunday brunch or pretty much everyday lunch! They have so many healthy options to choose from, which can be hard to find sometimes in Lower North Shore cafés. This time we tried the açai bowl, Japanese bowl (w/delish avo) and a Superfood wrap. Everything was yummy, the staff was very accomodating and we loved seating outside to enjoy the nice Spring weather!

I used to order caramel latte. I went today the staff seemed change, the guy took long time to get my order( that's fine, maybe he is new), the lady who makes coffee, she put wrong lid to my coffee F.W, I asked her what is it, because I order caramel latte. She said she made the right one just put the wrong lid. However, it's not a caramel latte at all. It tasted just like flat white. I don't think I will go back again.

Three Beans in Mosman is one of the stores in the plethora of locations operating under that name. Three Beans are known as company which focuses on providing nourishing food that is ethically sourced and healthy. All the food is said to be free from additives and preservatives and are sourced from local suppliers to ensure the freshness and quality of the flavour. Three Beans also uses local suppliers who share the same ethics of following strict animal welfare practices so not only will you be enjoying healthy/delicious food but you will also also have a healthy/good conscience. A variety of healthy options for those that are health conscious such as smoothie bowls and healthy bowls. Each menu item lists the kilojoules in each so that you can make an informed eating decision. We selected some healthy options on this visit. There were so many healthy bowls which we liked the sound of such as the ancient grain salad or green breakfast bowl. On this occasion we went for the nourish bowl. It was packed with goodness such as smoked salmon, grains, peas, kale, avocado, red cabbage, carrot, onion, coriander, egg and flavoured with a ginger dressing. We loved the combination of flavours, as well as the beautiful presentation of this dish. As we were there for a breakfast visit, we ordered one of our regular go-to’s, porridge. The porridge at Three beans is a chia and oat version which we loved! It was topped with berry coulda, banana, berries and honey. Not to worry if you’re not in the mood to go all healthy as there’s also bacon and egg rolls, beef burger, croque monsieur or the pancakes. Drinks wise, you’ll find all your favourite coffee and tea options, frappes and smoothies. Here, they also do dairy free smoothies and we tried the refreshing açai smoothie with açai berries, blended with coconut water and bananas. Milkshakes are also an option and the cookies and Creme one would be a favourite of plenty! There’s something on the menu here for everyone, they have a kids menu too. If you’re in the area, certainly make this a cafe to stop by at!

I love the bacon and egg sandwich ($10) where I had no sauce. It was nice and hot. I also loved the rocket, cheese and olive oil on the side (a nice bonus). Nice that you can help yourself to some filtered water. Nice staff too. Minus a star each for the following issues: * My table was wonky and unstable (far corner away from the entrance); and * The turmeric latte was bland and tasteless. Not great considering that you're paying a premium price ($5.50) - which is more than a coffee. With or without honey, this golden drink should not be bland. Otherwise great :)

The Acai bowl is really tasty with just the right amount of seasonal fruit and a nutty toasted granola to suit. But my favourite dish is the Japanese chicken bowl, so refreshingly delish! The flavours work well together, and even though it's a light dish filled with green goodness, it's still really filling.

Amongst the chaos of Mosman traffic, I appreciated the tranquility that this cafe offered on a Saturday afternoon. If you have a hankering for classic dishes well done then definitely give Three Beans a visit. Service is quick and the food is a steal with almost everything coming in at under $20 (the most expensive being the big breakfast at $21).

If you'd like to read more of my reviews, please check out my Zomato page and visit @cynthiaeats_ on Instagram for more photos!

Being local, it’s always a pleasure coming to Three Beans in Mosman! Their staff always greets you with a smile and serve some really nice flat white lattes. We really love that they do have healthy options for lunch and brunch, specially the bowls which are perfect for summer 😋 We tried the açai bowl, Japanese bowl and Superfood wrap this time and everything was so yummy!

Great healthy option of brunch with great dishes. Love all of their salad dishes and their breakfast dishes. The chicken with ponzu dressing is my favourite, falafel salad really yum as well. If you want some sweet their açaí bowl and pancakes also great!

The food was sensational, it was nice and quiet environment. I had fun there having a late lunch and a beer around the corner. Good location and outdoor area.

Stopped here for breakfast before heading out to the beach. The service was good, but the food was average. LO wasn't impressed with his pancakes and I thought the corn fritters were okay.
The water glasses were dirty and needed to be changed. The staff are really trying their best but would try a different outlet next time.

The spot was ok. However the customer service is the worst around this area. The cashier/manager seems lack of managerial skills and was so rude.

Never mind the roadworks outside and step inside Three Beans for somewhere spacious and warm to enjoy a pleasant afternoon tea. Help yourself to water and a newspaper, and one of the waitstaff will take your order. Our pancakes, brownie and kids toastie were all satisfactory.

We came here for a quick meeting/catch up. Cafe wasn't overly busy on a Friday afternoon so it was a suitable location for discussing matters without being drowned out by noise, or feeling rushed to leave in order to vacate the table for other patrons.

I felt like having something fresh and light so decided to go with the nourish bowl. The person taking the order informed me something to do with the pots and not being able to poach the egg, so I instead requested to have the eggs scrambled together with the smoked salmon. Overall, the salad was delicious and perfect for a summer day. The ingredients were fresh and most importantly, the dressing was tasty without being overpowering in flavour, highly recommended!

Three beans is part of the entertainment book and you can receive 25% off your order.
