Review Don Adan Coffee Tree - Mosman

Horrible coffee, even worse service. Barista pulled me a double shot in about 10 seconds, maybe less, that barely was a single. Station was an absolute mess, drip tray was leaking water and coffee grounds were just everywhere. Dosing and tamping was pretty careless in my opinion and they didn’t understand the difference between a blend and a single origin, in fact they tried to tell me their single origin is a blend? When I asked if they were aiming for 8-10 second pulls the barista said no 20-30 and sighed before passive aggressively offering to remake my coffee. She then went on to lecture me about how she needed to dial the coffee in each day. Well why didn’t you do that before serving it? Refund was an unpleasant experience as well but this is already too long and negative. Apparently the coffee is from their own farm estate? If that’s true the owners of Don Adan have an emergency on their hands and don’t know it or don’t care.

Horrendous. They cook scrambled eggs in the microwave and don’t even bother draining the water... the cupcakes are so stale every time.. and they charge a fortune for. Been to this place 4 times due to visiting the swimming centre near by. And food. Has been horrendous each time. Can’t believe they operate..

Visited to meet a friend who is a regular. Great coffee and an awesome peanut energy slice. Friendly and welcoming service. They let me stick around while they tidied up.

Hooray! I found a place in Mosman that was still open for coffee after 5pm on a Thursday. And the coffee was pretty good.
