2 night stay. Early Oct. Great hosts, building, and location. Private, spotless, comfortable, modern, interesting. A selfbuild pole home. Perfect homebase to explore the region. Mt Barker is central to so many options within the greater region.

We stayed for two nights in April and it was lovely. This was our second visit to Caber House and will probably not be the last. With easy access to Albany, the Porongurup National Park and the many wineries nearby we can highly recommend it to anyone wanting to visit the Great Southern. Delightful hosts and awesome coffee. Thankyou Sheryl and Geoffrey.

Stayed at Caber House for 2 nights with a friend. What a wonderful place! It reeks of class with underfloor heating in both bathroom and bedroom, quality linen and fixtures. There are thoughtful touches such as toiletries, reading material and a great dvd selection. Breakfast is provided and the coffee is superb! Thank you Sheryl and Geoffrey. We shall return.

We stayed two nights and would happily stay again! Lovely hospitality Immaculately clean, comfortable, modern, very well designed accommodation... Peaceful surroundings with views of Stirling Ranges Just on outskirts of Mt Barker so it's convenient as a base to explore the Porongurups and Stirling Ranges

Love! Love! Love this place! Three nights wasn't long enough. Beautiful, unique and set in a gorgeous landscape. Creature comforts included under floor heating; so warm and cozy. Great for a winter getaway!

An idyllic little spot nestled in amongst the countryside with gorgeous views looking out towards the Porongorups. We found this to be a perfect location for a quiet weekend away, and a good base for those who wish to explore the mountain ranges as well as the beautiful waters of Denmark and Albany.
