Review United Roadhouse - Mount Barker

I tried the food 3times, All of the times I had to trough it into the bin. I didn't write a review the first two times as it could be a mistake of the chef but after 3 times I have to do it. I tried a chicken roll and the chicken was uncooked, beside being disgusting it can cause food poisoning as well. I tried again a roll and a fried chicken and one was uncooked again and the other was visibly old as the edge was dry. Anyway, I gave it two bites, and for the rest of the day I had nausea and abdomen crumps. It was a waste of money and a high risk for my health. I don't suggest to eat meat in this place. I don't like write bad reviews but this is serious.

My husband and I have just stopped in here for some food after being in a road train all day, since 4am and now it's 6pm. We are tired, a little dusty and were hungry as we hadn't had a chance to eat today. We were very pleasantly surprised with the food here especially the chicken and leek pies. The young Indian chap behind the counter., was pleasant and helpful. We were expecting the typical 'service station ' food. Which we some of it we did buy, and it was hot and fresh. Being in a road train, most food we have acces to, is service station food, and this place is among one of the best and there are not many, to give a good rating to.

Stopped in to get a coffee and we got the worst coffee ever taste like dish water so disappointed

Clean facilities and good food, improved from my last visit.

Horrible place, their toilets are the most disgusting toilets I have seen in my life. You even wonder if their kitchen are as dirty as the toilets.

Please do not buy food here. I've never left a bad review before, but this place is an exception. I bought dinner from here 3 times within 6 weeks. Of those 3 dinners, I got food poisoning twice. Somehow every item on the menu is overcooked and also cold. Fish soaked in oil, falling apart - couldn't even keep it on the fork. Not worth the risk. At these odds you have a 66% chance of getting sick.
