Review Jade House Chinese Restaurant - Mount Druitt

I am 38 years old and my family and I have been goin to this place for years! We have seen different owners/management come and go but it's always been our go to Chinese take away (restaurant) in an otherwise very competitive Chinese take away market!

I find it annoying that there is no dine-in and they keep the door locked and don't let you inside, you have to knock or ring the number on the window to get service, as apposed to other Chinese Restaurants in the area that are fully open, and no eftpos to top it off, had to run over to the ATM to get money out. I had curry chicken with fried rice and spring rolls. The food was ok, the curry sauce was quite thick (they must have used too much corn flour) and the portion is quite small compared to other Chinese Restaurants. Pricing not too bad but they actually charged my a dollar more. Don't think i'll return, would rather go elsewhere.

I've neglected going to this place for some years and decided to give it a try. Sure there are shortcomings (no dine in, have to call/knock..) however, the sweet and sour pork was on point with generous serving.

Worst Chinese food I’ve ever paid good money for, anybody who rates this food even acceptable Obviously doesn’t know what it should taste like Not impressed NEVER AGAIN,the scenario to get in to pick up order was an absolute joke and First impression of shop front dirty I hope kitchen is cleaner👎Don’t waste your time or money

It is what it is. The decor and outside look like it hasn’t change since the 1980’s. The lunch take away boxes are big and are either $7.50 or $8.50,it’s good value. Food wise it’s to a good standard. My satay chicken was 2/3 meat and 1/3 fried rice. For good cheap food come here! Looking at the menu it’s pretty cheap compared to other places

This place is my local go to food shop. They make the best salt and pepper fish I have ever tasted and their crispy skin chicken are to die for. The portions are absolutely satisfying and their flavours are never bland and always feel authentic. Even their omelettes are amazing. When you don't have the time to prepare for dinner, order just about anything with some prawn chips and you'll be set. You will NOT be disappointed.

Best Chinese near St Mary's! Combination short soup, spring rolls, sweet & sour pork and fried rice are our favourite. Regularly order from here. To be honest, wouldn't eat in as there is no atmosphere 😕!
