The warm welcome set the scene and the casual atmosphere was just what we were looking forward to celebrate a special occasion. What a fantastic drinks menu - chose the lime with chilli etc so refreshing. All the food was really good and we were so pleased we tried the Croque Monsieur - which we had heard other diners rave about - that certainly didnt disappoint and we will go back for another taste of that real soon. Could not fault anything about this quirky little place - except perhaps that they dont serve coffee. Too full for desserts but if they tasted as good as they sounded they would have been divine.

Couldn’t recommend Birraz more highly. They were so accommodating with dietary requirements and we couldn’t believe the amount of food that came out with the $55 menu. Every dish was so delicious. We can’t wait to go back!
This was a dinner for a 'significant' birthday, eaten at home with family because of COVID restrictions. We had ordered starters and then, to come an hour later, the mains. Both deliveries came exactly on time, the food was hot, the accompanying bread seemed straight out of the oven, and the whole meal was a wonderful success. Hard to believe it was 'takeaway'. Well done, Birazz, for enabling us to have a 'dining out' experience under semi-lockdown.

Excellent service, excellent food, excellent wine. Nothing was too much trouble. Most entrees were listed as a serving of three, but with four of us dining, the chefs, without hesitation, adjusted the serving sizes to four pieces to accommodate us. All pastas are very generous serves and full of rich flavours. The restaurant has a cozy ambience and the main section was completely full on a Tuesday. I highly recommend this fabulous restaurant!
If you want authentic, delicious home style Italian food, Birraz is a must try. The food here has been consistently good the many times I’ve dined here & our latest visit was no exception. We ordered the traditional bruschetta (very good), octopus salad (soo delicious) & fried cuttlefish (divine) to start. For mains we went for the crab ravioli special (amazing) and the seafood platter (absolutely delicious). Past highlights here have included the roast lamb shoulder special (melt in your mouth) and the aged beef rib eye. Favourite dessert is the open cannolo and the pistachio pannacotta (tiramisu is fantastic too). Friendly staff & great atmosphere - it always seems to be full be it a weekend or weeknight, so best to book in advance. Highly recommend.
Went here tonight for the wife’s birthday on a recommendation from the daughter, great find the food was so fresh service was second to none.
Nice vibe, we shared the entrees I had the baby goat fell off the bone was tender to the touch the wife had the crab ravioli.

The staff were committed to great service and friendly. The atmosphere is nice. Most importantly, every food and drinks we ordered tasted great. We will definitely be back again.
Great little spot to have a warm meal and a bottle of wine. Perfect venue for friends and work get together. Staff are very attentive and polite, the atmosphere is just what you'd expect of a welcoming Italian restaurant with delicious food to go.
Really happy to go for the special menu every time, a lot of variety and every dish is delicious. Pastas are definitely the highlight for me.

Pricey, but well worth it. Staff are incredibly lovely, and they have an amazing selection of food and wines. Entree, pasta, and desert were faultless. Again, amazing service with some wonderfully friendly staff can make an unforgettable dining experience.
This restaurant was highly recommended from a friend as it is one of their regulars. Since booking on Fathers Day I have been back several times and also further recommended and introduced to other friends and family. A really busy restaurant with good vibes. I would strongly advise to book in advance.

Authentic Italian. The food was delicious and fantastic. The restaurant had a great vibe and was a buzz. The staff were all Italian. Great dinner spot for a group, date or couple. It's not cheap but not expensive... you get what you pay for. The only downside... You will actually need to book as I only was able to book the same day on the fifth try. Definitely worth a visit.
Degustation is the way to go. Excellent selection of food, prepared & cooked to perfection. Wish we had room for dessert!
Pleasant, family-oriented but professionally run restaurant. Genuine, rustic Italian food as good as I have had. Large variety of pastas made on site. Food was prepared and served promptly and service was friendly. Servings sizes are not overwhelming and prices are reasonable. Gets a bit noisier as the night wears on so if you want a conversation across a table arrive earlier. I had no problems parking. Happy to recommend, I enjoyed the occasion.
