We were the only ones in the establishment at 3pm on a Monday which is fair. Grabbed 2 beers and enjoyed the view from the back deck. I can see that this place would be pumping during full ski season, will have to come back then.
It's a decent on-mountain haunt, good local watering hole. Food's a bit hit and miss and you'll have to wait a bit for it.
It has a large bar, a pool table, happy days. Lots of space inside and outside.
Undoubtedly great location for lunch and dinner.
Menu I found was a little light on.
Burger good quality. Chips ok.
Burger actually comes with chips but it didn't reflect hence ordering a separate side of chips.
Little pricey but understandably for the unique location.

The service has always been good and staff are welcoming. Generally the food has been excellent although on occasion the steak has not been the best. Once had about 50g of sinew for a 300gm piece. The steak also felt it was not at room temperature before getting on the grill. The General is the only

Really lovely little place. Fantastic food. Salads can be small or large which is lovely. Pictures are the lamb salad and Vietnamese salad. Didn't get a picture of the fish and chips but it was also really good. Drinks were really well made. Would happily go again!
