The one sushi place that actually serve fresher tuna! It probably helps that the fish market is literally within the same building. Sushi actually taste nice, this is something I'd rarely say as we're very picky when it comes to sushi or sashimi. Priced reasonably well tkk, my only complain is the cuts were inconsistent? Some were thinner than the other. Will definitely come back here to try all other menu and the sushi train when lockdown's over.

I had this Tongotsu Ramen lunch time at the Innaloo Suburb. It tastes so nice, well above my imagination. I had before tried the well known Tongotsu King in the city ( Here at Yuzu , its cheaper and actually they are about on the same par ) also tried Frementle , Victoria Park and Perth 's many places and in Japan. I like the texture of its noodle, it's rich as well, exact viscosity, but not sooo sticky or starchy soup. It's additional $2 extra noodle is cheap. The waitresses are efficient. Deserves a 4.5.
Very cheap and fantastic quality for the price. First place I've ever waited out the front for it to open. There's a very good reason it's always so busy.
Friendly waitress. Food was valuable. Some of the sushi already has soy sauce. On the trail mostly are rolls. However you can order from screen. So you can get fresh one. I quite like this place!

Cheap, fast, delicious! All the necessities of a great japanese place :) never disappoints! Their ramen is super flavorful and only $12 for a big bowl! Everything on the train is $3. Mega win! I'm just praying that they stay open forever.
we ducked in here for a quick lunch and were impressed with the service and quality of food. the sushi train was great with fun little tablets for made to order pieces at low prices and great for kids. We also ordered the Ramen, for a sushi store I wasn't expecting much I was pleasantly surprised that they went to so much effort, it was clear they had prepared the soup and noodles earlier and froze them but they were prepared with such care and tasted great. don't walk by this place it's good and comfortable.
Always friendly, cheap (all sushi plates are $3!) and yummy! Expect to wait a bit during peak times though. This is our go-to place for a sushi fix.
Great tonkotsu ramen here. Deep flavours and the pork slices they give you are not just the fatty parts, it’s the meat, which I really liked. The noodles were perfectly cooked too.
Also they have the good wasabi here. I’ve never been a fan of wasabi until I tasted the one here, it was really good!
On top of that, there’s great service, friendly staff who always asks if your water needs refilling and always smiles when they talk to you.
We loved this place for the variety and value. The sushi and small sides (takoyaki, edamame etc) all come in at $3. You can assuage the hunger quickly by choosing from the train or order something freshly prepared from the screens, which is definitely the tastier option. Tataki sushi, eel nigiri and spam with cheese sushi were particular favourites. Photos are from two, very indulgent trips. So reasonable and byo!
Food taste average, but you get what you paid for. It’s only $3 per plate!! Ended up two of us ordered 12 plates cause the portion of food is pretty small. Btw, their customer services are excellent! Staffs are very friendly. If you plan to visit during weekend lunch(peak hour), be mindful that you might need to queue for seats.
So pleased I have found this place. There are so many average sushi train restaurants in Perth- and this one is just down the road from me! Bonus point!
Service here is so friendly, and quick, but best of all, 80% of the menu is $3 per plate. That includes my fave sushi; Aburi. Plus, if your fave dish isn't on the train you can order it using the electronic menu and the chef will make it super quickly for you.
I feel like I'll be spending a lot of time at this place in future!
Love this place, drive all the way from the eastern suburbs to eat here. Great service and the kids love it too. If you want to get a booth and not wait, better to call ahead.

$3 per plate sushi train although I ordered off the menu to get it made fresh. Service was good and attentive, sushi was made quickly. To be honest the food was average, the aburi salmon was dry and not fatty. The best of all I tried was the soft shell crab roll

Best value for money sushi joint in Perth (Eel Unagi for $3 IS unheard of) and this place delivers on taste with every sushi dish on the menu.

This place is a hidden gem. Plenty of parking at the park (first hour free), you can reserve a table and order fresh off an monitor rather than picking it off the train. I hardly ever pick the sushi off the train as I don't know how long it's been going around and around in circle. The freshly made sushi doesn't take too long, maybe max 15 min? The place does BYO as well so make sure to grab beer or wine from home.
$3 sushi you can't go wrong really! Great service and interactive tablets for ordering. The karage chicken was juicy and delicious as was the pork gyoza. Definitely a bargain and we'll be back
This place is my absolute FAVE place to get sushi!!! I mean i literally could come here everyday, it's super affordable and modern with the touch ordering system and I mean it's 3 bucks for good quality sushi!!!! Yum!
i'm not a big sushi fan but really enjoyed this. sushi at $3 a plate with a big selection including nigiri, maki, some aburi options. you can take it off the train or order from the tablet with pictures and descriptions so it's really easy like some places in Japan. my gf noted the sushi size was maybe slightly smaller than at some other places, but we liked that cos with the low price you can try more things. will be back!

A hidden gem. The sushi train has a fairly limited selection, but all the plates are $3 each. The make your own bento box is interesting and lets you choose from a decent selection. I've been here 3 or 4 times and will definitely keep coming back.

Great selection of basic sushi on the train - and at $3 per plate it's great value. Not as much selection as when the plates were colour priced - obviously. Other items are available to order and arrive promptly. The beef tataki is a definite standout dish, as are the gyozas.Good selection of udon noodle soups to choose from, and they do great value bento boxes at lunchtime too. They also provide glasses of water for patrons which is a nice change from venues that try to make you buy their drinks only. Small venue but it does the job. Wait staff are always cheerful and pleasant. Free parking for the first hour in the Town of Vincent carpark outside is also a plus!
Beware write your name and number on the board when you get in otherwise you won't get a seat. I don't agree with it because it's not customer friendly but that's their system. I hate to say this but I'd come here for the $3 plate of sushi. Not that the food is bad but the budget price would be the driver to come here.

We ordered salmon with avo, spider roll, miso soup, lobster gunakan, karage, gyoza and unagi sushi. I love soft shell crab so you'll know which was my fav in the list.

I dined here with my kids, I ordered the Deluxe Bento Box with teriyaki chicken ($22.80) and shared it with them. Both my kids loved the teriyaki chicken with rice. I got to enjoy the fresh sashimi which included a piece of scallop and prawn, so soft and fresh!
My kids picked a plate of spring rolls (as kids do!), they were just fried and still hot and crispy so my kids thoroughly enjoyed them.
I also tried the Lobster Salad sushi and Red Back Spider Roll ( spicy soft shell crab), both fresh and very tasty - I'd definitely recommend trying these.
I make sushi at home often so it's nice to see and try some different kinds of sushi when I dine out.
The restaurant is small, we sat in one of the 2 available booths which I was very comfortable in, as my young kids like to move about. The waitresses were very friendly and helpful.
My daughter said "I love this restaurant, I want to bring dad here!"
So I guess I'll definitely be returning.
Not the best sushi (but definitely not the worst) in the world, but at $3 per plate no matter the type of sushi (or small plates like karage), its really a price which can't be beat! (3 pushed to a 3.5 based on the price)

Good food at reasonable prices. I have been to this small place on a number of occasions and still find it very good. Prices for Perth are more than reasonable and the last time I was there all sushi train prices were the same and more than reasonable.

Loved our dinner at yuzu kaiten sushi. We felt like we were in japan. Delicious food, we had gyoza, tempura prawn, and various sushi from the train. Great service. Thoroughly enjoyable! We will be back!
Tried Yuzu Kaiten Sushi tonight as was very impressed. The food was fresh and full of flavour. I look forward to going again and trying the many dishes I never this time around.

Amazing!. My family of five and I went on a chilly Sunday night at around 6pm. It was pretty easy to make a booking over the phone and upon arrival, it was pretty empty (bar a table of two in the corner) so walk ins would be pretty easy to secure a table.
Yuzu is a tiny shop tucked away behind Swish and Chips and it’s entrance is in a car park – what it lacks for in size it makes up for in terms of its food. We went with two entertainment book vouchers and the bill ended up being ~$60. For a table of six, indulging in pretty much three courses. Unheard of in Perth.
My sister picked off pieces of food off the sushi train including two pieces of avocado / crab stick sushi rolled in fish roe and two pieces of salmon/ avocado sushi rolled in black sesame, both which were incredibly fresh. We also shared a small plate of four takoyaki (octopus balls) which were deep fried, packed with soft and chewy octopus and drizzled in tangy mayo. Very good. My sister also lifted a plate of three deep fried prawn parcels (which resembled money bags) packed with seafood. The plates are colour coded to indicate price and varied from ~$4 to $6. The train was positioned directly next to our booth, making it easily accessible.
As an entrée we ordered prawn gyoza ($9.40 for 6 pieces), which were panfried, deliciously crispy and burning hot. The prawns inside were generous and it came with a small bowl of vinegar. Really nice to share. We also had the prawn tempura ($9.40), three mammoth sizes prawns in the lightest batter I have ever add – there was no greasy aftertaste and the prawns were succulent and well cooked. One of the best tempuras ever.
On the bento box side, we had a Special Bento Box with Fish Katsu ($19.80) and a Deluxe Bento Box with Teriyaki Tofu ($22.80). The Special Bento Box came with assorted sashimi, steamed rice, grilled prawns, karaage, salad, Japanese pickled vegetables, edamame (soybeans still in their green pod) and a piece of fruit (a slice of orange in this instance). The sashmi was beautifully presented – a burst of colour with slices of various fishes (including salmon andtuna), a cold smoked prawn and a dab of wasabi. The fish katsu was a highlight - crumbled and flaky inside. The Deluxe was the same except it came with the same as the Special Bento Box with the inclusion of tempura. The tempura was just as good as our entrée but the tofu was fabulous – just crunchy outside, slippery and fresh inside and dosed in a sweet sticky sauce. Yum.
Our mains were rounded off with Ginger Pork ($15.80). The pork was nicely flavoured, not particularly overpowering with ginger and the pork strips were tender. The potato mash that came with it was a bit of a disappointment – a small tiny blob holding up a dehydrated lotus root. The salad added some nice colour – it was a pretty dish.
For dessert we had a duo of a lemon jelly cup (lifted again of the sushi train) which came with a rainbow speckle chocolate and a bowl of green tea icecream ($4.50). The ice cream came out in two huge scoops alongside a dollop of sweet red beans. The beans had a jam like consistency, which contrasted nicely with the iciness of the green tea ice cream. It had a distinct macha taste and was deliciously creamy.
On the sides we order a few bowls of miso soup and steamed white rice. They all came out promptly. There were some language barrier issues during the ordering process, but everything managed to come out correctly (only a few repetitions were required). The lovely ladies that served us were quick to provide us with Japanese Green tea at the start of our meals and efficiently cleared up our plates throughout the meal.
All in all, a great place for Japanese food and worth the visit (and worth the value in money when armed with entertainment vouchers!). Yuzu has simple dishes that have great presentation, are nicely flavoured and don’t overdo it with the oil! Good desserts too – keen to try to the crème brulee next time!

Cozy and yum!. Went for lunch at YUZU today. Great little place - delicious food, cozy and pleasant atmosphere, and great prices, we will definitely be back! We had the $9.50 bento box lunch special which was delicious and a real bargain. (lots of vegetarian options too)
Sushi was definitely enjoyable here. Fresh and a great variety too. Perhaps a little more expensive than other rotating sushi. Service was pretty good, although English was a bit of an issue for some of the staff. Will definitely go back.
One of my favourite restaurant on japanese food. so far this is the best beef tattaki in perth i like the most. they offer great variety & flavour for their sushi (sushi train). love the staff for friendly and polite. great food and satisfatory walk out the restaurant every time

It's like a tall glass (serves 5 peson) of ice-cream layered with chocolate sauce, brownies and cornflakes! Absolutely fantastic :)

Nice sushi. I hadn't been here for a couple of years and the types of sushi (and I'm pretty sure the sushi chef) had changed (for the better). It was busy for a Tuesday night - almost a full house, so my friend and I were lucky to get a seat in front of the sushi train (plus it's a small restaurant). The place offers a good range and quality maki (roll) sushi, nigiri zushi and also hot food (the person next to me was eating a bento box that looked tasty). Plates of sushi average at about $4 each (for two pieces). We had to ask about three times for our Japanese tea as the staff were quite busy. The green tea icecream (only had to ask once! :p) was really tasty - served with a sweet potato chip, azuki (red bean) paste and cream on the side. Yum! Will definitely be back :)
Alternative to Jaws. I have always wanted to try this place out since the last time i saw the ad online, which I managed to try it on sat after work. This place is soo hard to find.. it's behind the 24hours chemist! very small place but the food is surprisingly good!!! We had almost every type of sushi they had + a few other sides. The Scallop sashimi sushi + the kingfish one + octopus+ the salmon = MUST TRY!!! the scallop ones were sooo fresh and soft! Had the takoyaki and crab-balls as well.. crab balls just average... the takoyaki... some of them were still frozen inside but some were super hot.. so yeh...
The service was really good too!! There is an entertainment book voucher for this - 25% off.

If Yuzu Sushi like I know sushi.... Good bento boxes. Tasty Japanese. Visited twice and was happy both times. More expensive than Tanpopo across the road, but far less frustrating! You actually get served here.
Quaint little place. Loved Yuzu!! Went there on a Sunday evening with my sisters. We were seated around the sushi train. We all ordered green tea (which was FREE) and a miso soup each and soon tucked into the moving dishes. We REALLY enjoyed the beef tataki, the sauce under the rice was a hit. However, the beef tataki would have been fine without the rice, as goes the salmon and tuna carpaccio. Sushi was fresh and light and the miso was average. Customer service was great, a warm feel and everyone else seemed to be enjoying their meals.
Discovered the place just last week. The best Japenese I've had so far. Friendly service, fast and clean. Highly recommend.
Fantastic Lunch. I had lunch at Yuzu in Perth today, and it was fabulous! Their bento box was great value with many options!! I recommend everyone to go to Yuzu to enjoy such a great range of Japanese food in a chic environment were the staff are very friendly and helpful.

tonight i had a sashimi plate as well as a few items from the sushi train. the sashimi plate featured 3 different types of fish, along with octopus, squid and scallops. i was actually expecting just tuna and salmon so was a tiny bit disappointed, nonetheless, the quality of the raw items was very good!
the sushi train didn't have much excitement about it. i remember it being a bit more tempting my last visit (2 months ago). despite the lack of visual stimulation, the sushi was delicious.
service wonderful, staff very friendly and obliging.

Yumzu!. Although not the easiest of restaurants to find we found Yuzu to be a great evening out. There was a great variety of tasty sushi and we also tried the spicy chicken wings and tempura which were delicious. The restaurant is only small but the nice decor and friendly staff give it an intimate feel. The food is reasonably priced too. Look forward to our next visit.
Great Japanese. I had a dinner with my husband last week at YUZU as I saw it is under new management on newspaper.
It was very busy and we needed to wait for 15 minutes to have a table, also need to wait for place an order for 10 minutes but then we had a great Japanese food and great time there.
Especially sushi was better than I had last year, sushi chef TAKA (sorry his name might be TAKE) makes proper sushi with soft sushi rice.

Good food, but small servings of sushi per plate, and they don't seem to replenish the train very frequently, seemingly preferring to let it run down to those few unwanted plates. sushi is tasty, but not as much variety as many other trains in perth. the byo factor is good however with a total restaurant capacity of less than 20, having any kind of privacy or even quiet conversation is difficult.
Best kaiten sushi in Perth. Well priced with some fresh and modern takes on sushi. Love the layout and decor. Tucked away so possibly largely underappreciated.

Amazing value for money. And even thought they have a sushi train they allow you to order a la carte so each dish is fresh. The customer service was amazing. The line is long and you have to put Ur name down on the list and wait as they don't do reservations. But the lady was kind enough to call us when our turn came up as we're at the bar nearby and she said they dont normally do thst but she did anyway. The food is very affordable with everything on the sushi train for $3.50 and its not just fille items. The hot dishes are a separate price but also very much cheaper than other sushi trains while mantaining a high quality.

Beautiful little Japanese restaurant! We used to come here years ago before the refurbishment and, even after refurbishing, it's kept its character and quality. The staff are friendly, the food is delivered fresh and fast and tastes incredible.
