Great food, staff and service. Favourite Thai restaurant in Perth!
My partner and I are from Melbourne and currently on holidays in Perth. We had dinner at Little B last night with our friends. The food was absolutely fantastic. The prices were reasonable and the serving sizes were generous. We ordered a variety of things (Laksa, Stir-fry, Pad Thai, Roti, Tom Yum Soup, just to name a few) and we can honestly say we would not have changed our order, everything was great. It would have almost been a 5 star review, however the service was only ok. We had to go and get more cutlery, chop sticks and napkins from other tables.
I haven't always been a fan of Thai food, especially here in Perth as portion sizes are usually very small and the prices are usually exorbitant. With that said, if the food quality is astronomical, I wouldn't mind the damage. While most Thai establishments are adulterated with a tinge of Fusion, it dosent really do justice to the cuisine especially if you have visited Thailand and have had a taste of their food and culture there. However, I have to say that having a meal at Little B, really felt like we were back in Thailand once more.
The food was absolutely phenomenal. Very very authentic, very delicious. I think my words will not do any justice to the food there, but try their BBQ pork Sticky Rice, Somtum (light and refreshing salad) and the Thai coconut Sticky rice with Mango. Stop reading this and just order the food already!
I love the shop decoration. I like the plate with chicken design. It is very Asian feel. It is pay at counter when you order. Foods and drinks are good. Staff are friendly too.
Nice decor, lovely atmosphere and great food. We have been to many Thai restaurants north and south of the river and this was just as good as any we have been to. Generous portions, fast service and very reasonably priced. We will definitely be back.
I have to say this has to be my favourite Thai restaurant. The food has great flavour n pricing is pretty good. The only bad thing I can say is the sitting arrangements but that is what gives the restaurant it’s character.
Overall very nice. Everything tasted fresh and it tasted like some serious effort went into the food. Perhaps that's to compete against GorengGoreng which is just around the corner.
Competitive or not, my Chilli Basil Beef stir fry was great and my mother enjoyed her Chilli Jam Chicken stir fry. As you can see though there is a problem, there's nothing to mop up with. We had to order some extra rice to soak the sauce up as it was too liquidy to use a spoon.
If they address the lack of absorbant (didn't think I'd use that in a review) and maybe a few bucks cheaper then they'd have a 5/5 from me any day.
Food tasted delicious. Spice levels were perfect. Kids meal was well presented. Cosy location. Could do with extra wait staff, but the one lady coped well during lunch service.
My friend and I came here last week. We had a great time eating the meatballs and the delicious noodles, as well as the sticky rice dessert! I'm from Indonesia, and this feels like home to me. I will come back any time, hoping to bring more friends to enjoy the local delicacy. Next time, please make sure that the durian ice cream is available! I really want to try it.
Friendly service, food exquisite, flavours on point. You have to get up and place your order at the counter so don’t wait for your order to be taken at the table. Which seems to be a common misconception among other reviews. Place is small too so if you don’t want to wait long then make reservations before hand. Reservations needed for Large groups too. All in all good delicious Thai food
One of the best Thai food I have tried in Perth.
Delicious food & Friendly service.
I can't stop staring at the doll in the corner! Not sure why it's there staring...
Ordered red curry (vegetable ) and soft shell crab pad thai red curry a bit sweet and pad Thai also . Very happy with the portions and price. Would recommend it.
Beautiful Thai food, reasonable prices. Love eating here. The only thing I was disappointed, it was raining heavily and the rain was coming into the restaurant . Guests had to move away. Luckily the restaurant wasn’t busy so we didn’t eat our lunch in the rain. The owner of the place should fix it instead only collecting the money for the rent. The restaurant can’t do anything about the leaking roof, it’s the property person who should act immediately about this issue. Whoever is reading this, please help about this issue as the restaurant guys can’t do anything except cleaning the wet floor.
