Dropped in to have breakfast with a friend yesterday. I had big breakfast while my friend had the vegetarian big breakfast. They were so well presented, fresh and yummy. Nicholas the boss was very friendly and patient with us as we took quite a bit of time deciding what to have. Will definitely come back again.

We went here for the first time the other day. My partner had the big breakky and I had avocado with toast and mushrooms and the açai bowl. I'm vegan and my partner isn't, so it's hard to find somewhere nice to eat together. There were no vegan options on the menu, but I could order single items that were ok and obviously the açai bowl. Unfortunately, the açai bowl didn't contain fresh fruit, but frozen and they were very mushy and not nice to eat. Maybe people would order this item more if they put fresh berries in instead of frozen. The avocado tasted really weird and I was told it had lemon juice and pepper on it which was not stated on the menu, so I asked for normal avocado. It took a good 10mins for my "fresh" avocado to arrive and in the meantime my toast was cold and the açai had melted. Unfortunately, the "fresh" avocado didn't taste fresh at all, but quite old and on the verge of being off, so I couldn't eat it. My partner's breakfast was ok, but he thinks the sausages tasted like they were frozen before cooking. This is a quite expensive place in the middle of a good area, but unfortunately the quality of the food does not reflect that at all. Also, the pot of tea for two was actually a pot of tea for one. Sorry, won't be back.

Cosy Cafe hiding in urban Mt Pleasant. Breakfast and Lunch menus are very good with generous serves and attentive personalised service. The fennel and pork sausages in the big breakfast are delicious. A mix of homestyle favourites like French toast, with a healthy and contemporary twist. Good coffee. As the old saying goes, the man who owns the store runs the store....

After waiting nearly 10 minutes to even be acknowledged, I ordered the Thai chicken patty. Total rip off. I struggled to find any chicken in it at all, it was just full of potato. Ordered a chai latte to go with it which was undrinkable. I’ve been back a few times with the hope that the food, service or coffee would get better but it hasn’t. Way overpriced, poor service, long waits, wrong coffee orders and disappointing food.

Regularly enjoy brekkie here, but second time for dinner and did not disappoint. Fish pie was awesome and spicy chicken lettuce cups were also delicious. Kids meal was great value adult sized portion. Will definitely come again

Been for dinner a couple of times and the food was excellent, so thought we try out the breakfast, didn't let us down. Don't know if people are aware it's open for dinner Friday and Saturday nights as I noticed on the webpage it said it was closed the night we went but it was open.

I have always enjoyed the meals at Cafe Denada today we ordered the chicken & asparagus crepes and the smoked haddock pie. Just delicious!! Such an interesting ever changing menu and now with the Tapas on Friday & Saturday nights it is fantastic to have a local good quality cafe close by. Thanks Cafe Denada

I had a hair in my salad which I returned and got a refund. My partner got a burger which was cold inside but burnt on the outside from being in the sandwich press. Really disappointed and won't be returning

I’ve driven past this cafe plenty of times but today was the first time! <br/><br/>The tapas here are A M A Z I N G! <br/>I loved what we ordered! We got the fish tacos 🌮 and the salt and pepper squid 🦑 <br/><br/><br/>FISH TACO 🌮 <br/>the taco was amazingly done! the fish tasted amazing but the WOW factor for me was the guacamole and mixture of corn and onions! This was perfect and would have loved more of it! <br/><br/>SALT AND PEPPER SQUID 🦑 <br/>this was cooked perfectly and the dipping sauce for this was exceptional ❤️ I used some of the dipping sauce for this on my fish taco and it was amazing! <br/>I loved the balance between sweet and spiciness of the chilli <br/><br/>It’s a shame they only do tapas on a Friday and Saturday but definitely will be coming back here to try more! <br/> The beef ribs here look AMAZING

Great food thanks. We went there for Tapas night, which is on Friday and Saturday only. We ordered the beef ribs and it is melt in your mouth and Veges very tasty.

Wow! So many different reviews, this is a counter service cafe and always has been. The breakfasts are amazing, selection of breads available, rolls cooked on premises, infact 90% of everything served is homemade, so dont expect the sauces and bernaise to look or taste like they come out of a bottle!... <br/>Ive found this place to be well priced in comparison.<br/>The abundance of SALADS are always changing and deliciously healthy! The savoury lunch range is extensive and portion sizes have always been more than enough but in recent times they have reduced the size AND cost to reflect. <br/>I do however agree with the 'old rude lady' comments, though I believe she was removed immediately following events of such behaviour and several other reasons in 2016.<br/>The staff are always friendly, and knowing that this cafe gets spontaneously busy it is essential to book to avoid dissapointment...this is an age old system to ensure staff numbers and competent service.<br/>I am a small business owner, and all things considered this place deserves your consideration.<br/>Also open for dinner Friday & Saturday Nights now.... try the duck curry... superb!<br/><br/>

I went here on a weekday afternoon for a quick break from a busy day, just wanting something healthy to eat and a cold drink. Food was ok, salad was interesting and fresh, priced a little high but you get that. Left feeling pretty disappointed after being spoken to incredibly rudely by the staff - one waitress in particular was loud and almost aggro. I have my own food business and if my staff spoke that way to a valued and polite customer I'd be pretty unhappy with them. Not cool at all. I don't care if you've had a bad day, if you don't want to be respectful to customers then go find a desk job or something. <br/>

A lovely vegetarian and healthy selection. Food look very appetizing but would be helpful if they put prices on their labels. Got the salmon patty (thingy, cant remember),  not worth the price tag. The waffles and smoothie were also healthy ( no dollops of cream/icecream).

My friend and I had lunch at Cafe Denada in mid September, eggplant cannelloni stuffed with ricotta and preserved lemon was fairly tasty, but tiny. One tiny cannelloni and a regular soy Chai latte came to $18. My friend had a large latte and the asparagus crepe and quinoa salad, again tiny serve which came to $25. Expensive for ready over the counter food.

A good suburban cafe. Choose from typical cafe offerings in the cabinet for lunch (frittata, quiche, salads, etc) or get a roll/sandwich made to order ($10.50). A few muffins and cakes (lemon/carrot) also available. Coffees average, and an average price ($4). Nothing really stands out, but it's quite pleasant.

Came here late afternoon on a Sunday. Good coffee and really nice home made lunches. I had the spinach frittata which was really tasty. My girlfriend was hung over and had the chicken and feta fillo which she said made her feel much better. Good little local eats, I rate it 4 star.

Coffee review only: poor experience.<br/>$2.50 for babycino to start.<br/>Weak coffee despite being assured that there were 3 shots in the large mug. When questioned on the weak coffee, the response was "we use Geisha beans". Unsure if that is a good thing or not.

We had been so excited to try out the spot as it was always bustling!<br/>30 minutes for food, delivered with no cutlery for 5 minutes. No coffee for 45 minutes. Needed to get it changed into a takeaway cup and we were still waiting for it after we had finished our food. Staff were sweet but clearly under the pump. Everyone was waiting, not just us. They seemed to be prioritising take away coffees as people were walking straight in and out with them. Dreadful experience and terrible start to a Sunday. Never going back.

Food is absolutely terrible. Had to walk around the corner to get a pie from brumbys to get the taste of the cafe food out of my mouth. Salads taste like dressing is off, meat was gross. Service was pleasant and friendly, but not amazing, no table service though.

Splitting Hairs. For my Eggs Benedict, asked to have bacon instead of ham - charged $2.50 extra!! The food was OK and service was good but it is small things like this that sour the taste??

We visited this place for Sunday breakfast. Staff were unfriendly and rushed; consistent with previous reviews. Coffee service was prompt and pleasant. Meals were served quickly however were very disappointing. Without sounding to critical - the poached eggs were under cooked/watery, bread was poor quality "hot dog" bake-yourself rolls (which was extremely unsatisfying), parts of the meal were freezing cold and the remainder of the meal was smothered in bernaise sauce (of which the oil had separated) which was very unpleasant/likely a means to hide the low quality meal underneath. I wouldn't waste your time.

Great health-conscious food. We've obviously been lucky to dodge the notorious woman causing all the trouble! I've always found the service (from the younger members of staff) to be cheery and positive.<br/><br/>The food is always creative, fresh, and delicious. So many great options for vegetarians, and for those just after something lighter and healthier without sacrificing flavour.<br/><br/>Delicious food, good coffee, pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff and great service.

Excellent Coffee. The cappuccinos are excellent. It is just so nice to get a HOT coffee. So many cafes serve lukewarm/cool coffee and I like my coffee to be hot. If you also like hot coffee I can recommend Café Denada. I will be back.

Bit of a let down, "freshly squeezed" orange juice was straight from a bottle, coffee average, and the crepes were finished in about 3 mouthfuls. Won't be going back for a while

Extremely Rude Service...!!!. Yes, I too have received incredibly rude service at this café on numerous occasions when I have only come to the cafe for a quiet meal/coffee. The older lady responsible for the terrible service works there every day as far as I'm aware. So, sadly there is NO good time to dine at this café as far as I'm concerned...unless you want a serving of antagonism along with your coffee. I know many other local people who have been treated the same as myself...and if I'm honest, I'm surprised they have any customers at all!

Worst customer service I have received in Perth. The food was fantastic but the older lady working there was so rude and unhelpful that I will never be returning. She was also extremely unprofessional as she was eating whilst talking to customers. Our table was also very dirty and when we asked for it to be cleaned, the staff were reluctant to do so. Not impressed!

Disgusting. We have never encountered such rude service as at Cafe Denada. A simple order of coffee and biscuits should be a no brainer. Three times we politely asked why we had not received our biscuits. Finally we were made to 'prove' we had in fact ordered them by the price we had paid, and were then told we 'must have small lives'. We were so upset by the way we were spoken to my husband returned a few days later to speak to the manager who couldn't have cared less. We have since heard from others who have experienced similar. Cafe Denada, you are a disgrace.

Coffee was ok and the food in the front cabinet looked great but I am never going back for breakfast again. I ordered eggs Benedict... The bernaise sauce was not emulsified, how is that acceptable? and it was served on a stodgy toasted white bun with a cut in half dinner roll on the side. Having to get our own cutlery/water was not a big deal, but the cups were visibly unclean O.o

Giving my local a try. Decided to head over this morning for breakfast and coffee after looking up their menu which is quite reasonably priced. I ordered eggs benedict, with salmon rather than ham. Came with some tasteless chewy white bread roll, an IGA bought dinner roll cut in half and burnt slathered with butter. Sauce was split. No spinach (not sure if that's what they usually do, but they should). Eggs were fine. Smoked salmon has been cooked (?). I can get better breakfasts elsewhere, shame it's not just down the road though. Won't be coming back, not even for a coffee.

Over priced and very basic breakfast. And what is with all the white tasteless bread that comes with everything ? Serve less bread and knock 50 Cents off the $5 side of bacon ! Not good and well below average of what you can get in Perth.

Friendly staff, cute interior, plenty of tables. Extensive menu and a massive display of fresh goodies. Coffee was nice and strong, the Eggs Denada with pesto, toast, fried tomatoes, baby spinach, béarnaise sauce and Swiss cheese was delicious. Will be back!

Best breakfast!. The bacon and eggs here are definitely one of the best in perth. In can be a bit of a wait sometimes but it's worth it! Never a bad meal here.

Salad Heaven. I have been to the Cafe a few times over the years and have always had amazing salads there. The brown rice is my favourite. Also, the breakfasts are very good. Especially the Denada. Overall very happy with the food and service.

The coffee is a big disappointment, and I had beef avocade sandwich, for a shop that specialize in sandwiches, they don't serve a fresh bread. But overall the service is satisfying. Prob not goin back to have breakfast/brunch.

My family and I went for brunch (8 of us). We all ordered something different and had mixed reviews about our orders. The Spanish baked eggs were a huge disappointment as we're the eggs with asparagus. Our coffees were good though. Been there now and will probably not go there again.

Cafe with Nada. Have been here 3 times. Coffees are ok, so cant say a bad word here. Will pop in for takeaway coffee, no problems. My husband and I had breakfast here last Saturday and I think they were having a bad day. We ordered Eggs Benedict. The food took a long time to come, but thats usually forgiven and forgotten when its good quality. It seems like the put our dishes under a warmer for too long, so the sauce boiled dry, such that it looked like a trail of dried curry sauce over our dish. The ham was burned on the side. Eggs cooked ok. No cutlery on table, had to get it when the meal came. Food was seriously bland, needed salt and peppper, even that didnt improve it. The funny thing is that it was not even that busy, so not sure what was going on. We will go elsewhere for our Saturday morning breakfasts. Such a shame as we live just around the and both cafes (Denada & Rileys on Cranford) are complete dudds. Perhaps Denada is good if you want coffee and cake, but not breakfast. For us its a cafe with nada.

Cute n Cossy. Went three on an extremely busy Sunday morning. Seems to be very popular judging by how busy it was for breakfast and coffee. I went therre with a few people for brunch. The decor was nice, service was slow but it was flat out so I'll give them the benefit. When the food n coffee was presented both were really nice. From the lentil pattie, the latte, the pumpkin scone to the asparagus chicken wrap all hmbs up. I would recommend this place. I will try it again next time for brekky!

A nice, tidy little place with Mexican-style decor inside and a lovely courtyard area outside. The coffee here is good. It does come strong though, so if you prefer it weaker you may have to request a weaker shot. The cakes are lovely, very flavourful. I had a mocha with orange and poppyseed cake yesterday, which was sooo good! The staff were friendly, greeting us with a cheery hello, and the service was prompt. The assessibility of the cafe is good if you're bring someone with mobility issues like my hubby's Nanna who needs a walking stick to get about. Parking would be the only issue, being located by busy shops.

However, our lunch last Sunday was by far the WORST meal we’ve both had in a very, very long time. We were quite disappointed at the foul tasting sweet chilli tuna patty…It was just mush in a lump with some runny sauce they claimed to be “sweet chilli sauce” on the side. I’m actually really glad we decided to share just one meal that day. The coffee here looks good but we ordered an iced coffee since it was a super hot day. I always see a lot of “older” people here. So many this place just isn’t to my taste? I’m sorry to be so blunt…I don’t usually give bad reviews but this place is terribad!
