Review Peppercorn Cafe - Mulgoa

Great location to stop by when going for the scenic route. Good options available. The eggs Benedict was $16 and was nicely runny. Steak sandwich was average. Indoor and outdoor seating. Inside seating area was cosy, would love to see the fire place in action when winter comes around.

Looked like a buzzing place. The service and food is a let down. After being given a table outside, we were told by the girl at the reception that she'd come over to take our order in a few minutes. We waited about twenty minutes before walking back in only to find her chatting with another staff girl. At that point she goes..Sorry what would you like!!! Ordered two lattes and carrot cake with cream. Coffees were lukewarm. Carrot cake had a strong lemon flavour. Won't go back to try other menu items. It's a waste of such a nice location.

This place used to be good about 2 years ago but it's just awful now. We had breakfast there yesterday and our order came out minus the sausages, the eggs were horrible and dry and not even scrambled properly and the toast was so cold that the butter didn't even melt on it. The only good thing was the milkshake.

Absolutely divine. The refurbishment has lightened up the whole space while still maintaining the integrity of the old buildings. Food is very reasonably priced, the menu is very sophisticated and well considered. The space is so homely and the staff are so welcoming. I was a regular at the old Peppercorn Cafe and am very happy to see that the new owner has maintained the essence of the old restaurant and yet brought finer dining to the area. Much better and more on offer than any other cafe or restaurant in the surrounding towns. Would highly recomend the smashed avo. I have eaten a lot of smashed avocado, and these guys really do it the best

Table service isn't friendly and takes too long. Coffee is good and the lasagne I ordered was good too. Good service is really important to me. Encourage a friendly culture and hire the right people and they'll look after your customers. These reviews give you the perfect opportunity to improve, I'd categorise the feed back and start fixing it now.

Stopped on impulse today on our way to the mountains and enjoyed a lovely Devonshire Tea. The service was fast and friendly, the scones super fresh, warm and an absolute pleasure to eat with more than enough jam and cream to cover both scones.... will have to visit again for lunch and dinner, hoping to make it sooner rather than later...nice to sit inside, but looked even better outside.

Been here several times and seems to always disappoint somehow but still come as its local. Service is average, specifically asked if scones were fresh and was told yes. Ordered scones and coffee. Coffee was good scones clearly a couple of days old reheated, and dry. Dissapointing as this place has so much potential with the right management.

My go too coffee retreat when I need to relax and enjoy time with friends. We chat for ages and the staff are always friendly and service is great. Peppercorn is an old fashion country coffee retreat and my friends and I love it! Thanks to all the staff for making us feel at home every time we come!
