Beautiful, fresh, tasty fish. The best in town! The chips were also amazing last time. I always make the extra trip to Hooked and Cooked for fresh fish rather than buy it from a big supermarket where the quality is no where near as good.
It's great when it's great, but chip quantity and quality has been coming down over the past year.
Used to feed 4 adults with a large (11$ worth of chips) serving, last order it was 400grams, barely enough for 2. Sometimes the chips are hollow and crunchy. Disappointed. But i keep going for the time
The quality of the product from this place is nose-diving. Maybe I'm just old, but to me a fish 'n' chip shop was always just that - you go in, place your order and they cook it.

SRecently changed owners and the first time I went since the change it was overcooked. Second time food is good, fish was fresh and moist, chips were a little undercooked but everything else was great including the calamari! New owners/ staff are much friendlier and the inside has been renovated to

Potato chips legit didn’t even have potato in them they were somehow hollow. Fish was dry. Calamari rings were just gross. Everything obviously cooked in really old oil. Rude staff. Wouldn’t eat here if I were you.
First time ordering from here. Very happy with size of fish (battered Hoki) and chips. Only negatives are, chips were not very hot and the fish was too oily/soggy, needs to up the frying temp and drain properly. I would order again if not so oily. Pricing is very good.

So nice. The best one around. We tried Calamari, prawns, Dori & chips... So Perfect!!! And they are so smiling, a pleasure come to eat here!!! You have to try!
