Review Golden Inn Restaurant - Mulwala

I don’t think we received any good service anywhere in the facility. The woman at the front desk was incredibly rude and trying to force us to become a member and pay the fee even though half of us weren’t even locals, I’m not paying $20 for a membership for a place I visit not even once a year and after this not at all. Once we got through the receptionist we went in to get food, and come into contact with another incredibly rude woman, barely even spoke to us or acknowledged us when we ordered food and almost annoyed that we were there. After the service we received I was keen to at least enjoy a good meal but nope. If the sauce on the meal wasn’t canned I’d eat my hat. The meat definitely wasn’t fresh meat and wouldn’t be surprised if it was canned as well. 100% should not have been charged $30 for what we got!! Canned food is like what? $3 maximum? So should have been charged max $15. 100% won’t return again. If that’s how you treat your paying customers then I’m genuinely surprised that people return. Go and have a course in customer service, it’ll make the world of difference.

Absolutely appalling treatment by your security guards, targeted from when we first arrived. Our group was watched the entire time and followed around the evening. We came from out of town and have never been treated so poorly from a venue. I would give a -5 star review if it was an option. I would recommend finding more professional security guards that actually did there job. Will not be returning and will be letting people know about this.

We were holidaying in the area and discovered this club. Excellent Sunday afternoon spent on the back patio with live music.. great crowd but not overcrowded. Club is modern, good prices on food and drinks. Friendly vibe and welcoming staff made for a great experience.

I went here with my girlfriend and family for the family fun day and it was a really great day. There were numerous activities the kids could participate in and there were also some shows such as the ski show and the motorbike show. We also had a very nice lunch in the club as well prior to going outside and the food and service were great and it was very quick for the food to arrive. Would recommend coming here for sure!!

Lakeside cabins good but choose the ones further away from live music venue at entry

Mulwala Water ski Club park, has had some major renovations, they have done a fantastic job,All new waterfront Cabins , great staff, friendly environment , very enjoyable stay.

Great Ski club, families invited, bingo days,pokies restaurant & snack foods loverly by the lake while relaxing with a beer & keno ticket.& a snack.join up & get your discounts. Mulwala a,beautiful place 22-36c

Absolutely disgusting customer service! My group of 30 attended for tea at the club last night and although we all agree and adhere to rules and regulations within in the club (some we may not have been aware of e.g our kids ordering water at the bar) the way our group was spoken to by your staff was appalling, rude and disrespectful. I’d suggest your club pulls an emergency staff meeting regarding customer service skills and how to speak to customers in a polite manner before your reputation is completely tarnished.

What a joke the Chinese restaurant is! No flavour except for salt...even in the special fried rice. The Satay chicken was the funniest. Came with a citronella candle oil in the middle. Went to remove it and it dropped into the food. Apologised to the waitress and asked for a new one. She lookd a me quizzedly and then took it away. It came back again (you could smell it) but she asured me not. We removed the meat and his is what was left at the bottom of a plate that was used in the 80's

La Porchetta Mulwala has to have the most outstanding service. Wednesday 28th February, massive fire occurred on the Tocumwal-Barooga Road. Heaps of firefighters from around the region attended and to top it off a mad feed was provided by you guys (50+ firefighters in store at various times) Highly recommend this place. Thanks must go to the staff on their terrific job!!

We went to la porchetta for dinner during our stay. When we got there i was with my partner and little 1 year old son who was very grissly at the time so i was in quite a frustrated mood the ladies working there were absolutely amazing and did everything to make things more comfortable and accommodating for all of us and helped to settle my little one. Every single waitress was friendly and the food was quick and delicious! Would recommend this place to everyone!!

A revolting place. Extremely slow service and disrespectful and rude staff. I wouldn't recommend.

Security guards are absolutely shocking. I got refused entry for being too intoxicated even though I was not intoxicated.

Had the best weekend in Mulwala the 80's night at the Mulwala water ski club was great very friendly staff �

Always a great night out. The Thunderstruck are always excellent. Great pizza at Porchettas. $5 blondies, free entry. Great security this time. The time Back to the 80s were on was not so good. Absolutely wonderful band however. Pity fights had to get in the way. We will be back in January for Kisstroyer.

Great views over Lake Mulwala. Friendly staff. We had a pizza for lunch from La Porchetta. Nice to have the variety of either La Porchetta, Chinese or a snack from the coffee lounge. We will certainly revisit in the near future

Great / relaxing place to chill listen to live music Lakeview decking. First time there n loved it. Definitely be back 😊
