Ate here a few years ago and had a fairly pleasant experience. Came back recently for a friend's birthday, the staff were friendly and vigilant, the carvery smelled great, the only thing I'm disappointed about is that I ordered a bowl of chips but they were really sub par. Brilliantly run family-orientated pub. Staff are always welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The only downside is sometimes the carvery lacks plenty of fresh veg and sides. But a wonderful restaurant with both an indoor and outdoor kids play area for all ages that myself and my family love a trip

Excellent carvery. Moist turkey roast. Delicious. Gravy on tap. We appreciated the gluten free menu. It would also have been good to know whether the gravy and cauliflower cheese were gluten free. Good service. Good value.
Food is average, the carvery is nice if you time it right, otherwise the veg are past their best. Avoid the family area unless you want to feel as though you're dining in a soft play centre! Unfortunately, under 12s are not allowed in other parts of the pub.
Visited today as was craving a carvery. Was so looking forward to going here as have never had bad food or service. Today though I was so very upset. We ordered via the app (as never have a problem!) and around 20 minutes later my husbands food arrived but still no drinks or carvery slip for my meal
